I love how she called her Felicity the whole time instead of the doll and how she called it her skin. It just shows the care she has for it. I do have a question though wouldn’t the watercolor paint wash off the doll if it got wet?
Well, it can wash off but American Girl Dolls are not supposed to get wet in the first place unless you need to clean them. Acrylic paint also cracks over time and has to be redone more often than water color paint.

I found two Felicitys at a flea market once, and I was thrilled to discover her because she's not one you normally see sold at flea markets. The most surprising thing about this video was that her before condition was worth $55. With one missing limb?!
Beautiful restoration.
Very good job. Thanks for sharing the info. I've restored a few myself and it is always interesting to see other people's tricks.
what kind of color you use for painting? I don't understand
lighter more muted colors so the appear more natural and not like clown makeup lol
Where did you get the other hand again?
I loved this! ❤️ I restore dolls too, but I've yet to redo any paintwork😊 Mine is cleaning them up, and sorting their hair out 😊

Forget the 1990’s! I would like to know about the 1950’s to 1970’s.
The doll was made in the 90s but her time period is 1774. There's a doll for the 50s and the 70s as well.
