Wondering why hyundai could not address rear seat under thighs support in IONIQ 5. At 60 lakhs if it's a chauffeur driven car then one can't expect to sit in knees up position.
Hyundai should try and bring in something like the nexon. Good and affordable. 50lakhs for a Hyundai is a big commitment.. nevertheless it looks gorgeous.. hope to see it on the roads soon.
It would be simply amazing to behold on the roads here. However, this (and hopefully Kia EV6 later) will be on the expensive side as they might be imported as CBU's.
What you are buying is a piece of future, but we are not there yet. Another 10 years may be for creating infra structure for these cars, then we can enter the future.
It's the only car(s) has 800V charging system in mass market EVs with Kia EV6 and Genesis GV60. (Audi e-tron GT, Porsche Taycan, Genesis electrified G80/GV70 is too expensive.)
The upcoming MG ZS EV makes for a much more convincing buy given the range on offer and the price it will most likely enter the market at. Plus it looks a lot more subtle. Then there's the Nexon EV and the upcoming XUV 300 EV that more budget oriented buyers will look at. Between the MG and the offerings from tata and Mahindra, I don't see the Ionic 5 gaining much traction.
I see this is angeles crest. I went there just yesterday with my '04 tsx lol. That car is very big in person tho, just saying. Saw one testing in la. It's not the light, small ev we want. It's a heavy crossover that has been cleverly made to look like a 80's japanese hatchback
I think these companies shud focus on small electric cars which will be cheap and useful for citizens of India, with such price their will never be a mass sale. Hyundai need to focus on small electric cars launch. Mahindra shud relaunch it's old electric car with more features and updated tech. Maruti focus is missing. Lot of hopes from TATA let's see what they have for us in coming months.
The combined flat platform for driver and shotgun is very dangerous, anything can roll over from the passenger's side and then hamper the brake or accelerator pedals. It can prove fatal if a water bottle rolls over and gets stuck below a pedal.
Real magic of EV is when it is built from scratch as EV. IC models used for EV are very good to introduce cheaper EVs but cannot offer what a true blue EV can.
Thank you for that super early preview. - What is the ground clearance like pls? - What is the ballpark boot space (in ltrs) pls? - Would have been nice to see a visual under the hood. For the kind of wheelbase its liberated, I wish they had given slightly better underthigh to the rear seat and hopefully the rear seat is reclinable - will help people get a comfortable seating position particularly given the slightly high floor. Thank you.
I have one in Europe. Ground clearance is normal car.. not SUV like. Bootspace is around 500liters. Under the hood there is a small frunk with about 25 (AWD) or 50 (RWD) liters. Rearseats can be adjusted to slide back and forth, angle of the backrest can be adjusted and can also be fully reclined. I found there are plenty of ways to sit comfortably on the rear seats for all kinds of adults. I really like it!
good review. what i really liked is the excitement in his eyes while explaining... dude loves his job it seems... car looks good thou, but i am still saving up for Tesla!!!
I love the Skoda Enyaq more than this, it is more efficient than this and thus has a longer range! I wish they bring that to India, it looks like a normal car too, this looks good but still less normal looking it is a bit less efficient than the Kia ev6 too which is based on the same platform.......
Hi folks! Yes, this is a re-upload. There was a glitch in the last edit. Apologies!
I won't be able to buy one...
but to be able to see this thing on road itself is satisfactory 🙂
Hyndai ioniq 5 is here means eventually kia ev6 would also come👍 both have grate design
Iam also waiting for it and for
KIA EV6 GT version
Great
I'm mat watson
And this is car wow
Both are coming and both will be imported and hence pretty expensive 🥲
0:33 The Headlamps are the coolest in it's class .....By the way, Great work Mr Sobarjee👍👍
ZS EV is priced accurately at 25L. But for 40L Plus I would go for Volvo xc40 recharge
India needs a sub 4 metre suv, good enough to give a 400km range and a prive tag of max 12 lakh.
For a second, I was shocked to see the steering wheel on the left. And then saved by the California number plate 🤣
20,000 units were sold on the first day of pre-reservation in Korea (Production goal for the first year.)
and another 20,000 units were sold overseas.
India needs more C-Segment hatchbacks like this, there’s hardly any in the market
Looks like a concept car

At first I thought it was VW Polo, can't unsee it. 👀
Mind blowing car 🤯🤯
A senior editor can only make such reviews... Highly appreciate. @#₹#
Surprised and Loved the retro rear !! Hyundai never disappoint in terms of design !!
Hyundai should also bring the i20N as well.....no doubt IONIQ5 looks like a childhood imagined future car
I would go for 2 nexon ev .. but i would love to see this car on road … looks great
Yaaaaaa
Thanks for Putting this vid again
The Hyundai ioniq looks spectaculous and flawless
Too much futuristic for India in upcoming time
45 lakhs , honestly i think the fair pricing is 20 lakhs
Love the design, wish it was under 25 lakhs

4:02 you are almost touching the metal beam.... Btw nice car and drive.....
So eager to publish about car, that team reviewed foreign version for us 😃
Car is cool n futuristic but it’ll be awesome if Hyundai launch this spectacular EV with full specs as available in USA, UK n other Countries
I would prefer a Jaguar or Merc in this price category!
What you are buying is a piece of future, but we are not there yet. Another 10 years may be for creating infra structure for these cars, then we can enter the future.
Honestly speaking TATA's evision interior looks futuristic 🥰 it's my opinion
It's the only car(s) has 800V charging system in mass market EVs with Kia EV6 and Genesis GV60. (Audi e-tron GT, Porsche Taycan, Genesis electrified G80/GV70 is too expensive.)
This car is already in Nepal !!
Superb better features than xuv 700 and better looks🥰🥰🥰🥰this car is mobility means op☺☺
The headlights are like that, or is it the flickering due to wrong camera settings?

It's better to wait to get all electric vehicles launched, so we can expect price drops
What a piece of future.!
I will buy this one day and drive it in my village..🔥🔥🔥
Waiting for it to be seen on road.👍
Its a beauty
5:30 is that a flap near the bottom of the bumper opening?
I see this is angeles crest. I went there just yesterday with my '04 tsx lol. That car is very big in person tho, just saying. Saw one testing in la. It's not the light, small ev we want. It's a heavy crossover that has been cleverly made to look like a 80's japanese hatchback
Straight out of cyberpunk
Now please make video on hyundai Tucson 2022 and creta facelift
Future is comin😎😎....
Retro cool styling is always cool
Hii... is the Skoda Enyaq iv coming to India this year ? Anu update plz ?
From outside Looks like a Toy Car.. A huge RC car...
I don’t want to own future will experience when it comes my way. Meanwhile will be happy with budget friendly feature rich Diesel cars.
TATA NEXON EV is undoubtedly an hero of the season in terms of build quality, technology, affordability, range etc.,
Ev max
When is the launch in India

Do the review of kia ev6
She’s here finally! Are there any changes in specs in the Europe/US sold models?
Ground clearance toh banta hai na?
"dedicated ev platform" is the key word here ! Not sure when companies in India will launch them !
Not really a Hyundai fan but really impressed with Ioniq 5 and hope to see it on Indian roads soon.
We'll buy this "piece of future" in the future only, when its priced correctly.
That Hyundai logo on front bonnet should have been a little bigger 😁
When launch in india ?
Like you guys should do a 0 - 100kmph launch thats gonna be also fun to watch !
What about safety rating?
Why is renuka not comming in the videos?
Video Thumbnail looks lit🔥
What is Global Ncap rating we want safety...
if it looks like this, im buying it
I love the design

This looks amazing
What a cool
Hormazd travelled all the way to the U.S. to drive the Ioniq 5?
Wasnt kona electric the first electric of hyu ndsi?

Beautiful

@@marcelromijn2227 Thank you Marcel. That’s very helpful . Cheers.
Design very futurastic
Beauty ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Both ioniq 5 and kia ev6 are siblings but surprisingly ev6 has better range.
I want kia ev6 🤩
I hope hyundai gets more sedans and hatchbacks into india
India need electric car under 5 Lakh with 200km +
It looks like an 80's hatch back
4.6 meter length... wow!!!
i love the sound of redlining engine but man this is sickkk
Nice I will buy
Amazing 👍
Looks like a prop from a scifi movie
Logo on the bonnet should be smaller
I'm afraid the Indian Market won't appreciate this amazing piece of engineering.
I Think Price is Goes According to 305bhp Near About 50 Lakh
Looks mega!
No Doubt! Awesome Car ! But Baap re Baap !!! 45-60 lakhs for this piece of future 😅
Jab tak ev hatchbacks sub 12L nai h, tab tak unke baare m sochunga bhi nai...

Such a shame for Hyundai to be getting this car at that price, it could have been a game changer and take lead in Ev space.
Brilliant car just price it.right hyundai don't get greedy
