What a sponsored biased review. You should at least put a disclaimer in the tittle or description not waiting until the end of the video to say how Honda flew you out. You compare the top of the line Accord to the base level Camry. If you were going to compare the top of the line engine for this generation Accord, you should've tested the top of the line engine in the Camry. The V6 that produces 301 hp and offers a quad exhaust. The Camry this generation out did the accord by miles.
Yeah I know, it's not like a performance after market exhaust kit. All I was trying to state was that in appealing to younger millennials, the Camry took it this generation. The Camry overall out did the Accord, but that's my opinion. I have an IS 200t and by no means is it a power house. But it is a smooth handling, quiet cabin (when I want it to be), fun rear wheel drive car that I, for the most part enjoy (:
Toyota Safety Sense is standard on all Camry’s - the forward camera/radar combination doesn’t cost anything from Toyota. Confused by what you mean around 2:50
Travis Milbrandt I think he was being honest here. Toyota does have a low-speed follow adaptive cruise control but only on the XLE and XSE trims. The lower trims stop working under around 20 MPH. Also I’ve been looking at the Camry and I’m not sure it has the traffic sign recognition. The Camry also doesn’t include blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert until you get to XLE and XSE trims or add a package to LE or SE. As biased as this review was this part was actually true.
Travis Milbrandt yes, you are right. TSS-P is standard across the trim levels of 2017 Corolla, 2018 Camry and 2017 Rav4. On the other hand, Honda sensing is a $1000 option on all Honda line up. Honda needs to learn from Toyota. Other car manufacturers put all their money on driving dynamic whereas Toyota put theirs on driver safety. Driving dynamics vs driver safety?......I rather be safe than fun to drive.
It’s standard on all Accords too, but stuff like ACC and lane departure mitigation are also standard on all Accords but not on Camry. That’s what he meant.
I respect your opinion but im giving honda extreme props it kills me that both the coupe and v6 are gone but im not going to hate on it all in the end it is honda they DO know what they are doing
they may make a better car in your opinion which has nothing to do with my original comment, but i know for a fact that their head designer has the easiest job in the world take two cars you like, open Photoshop copy and paste.
Nice! Both vehicles seem to offer what most people are looking for in this segment. I can't wait to review each of these. From one car enthusiast to another, keep up the great work! 👍🏽
Whats the point in showing the camry if youre not going to show undwr the hood of it? Or at least drive it. Im seriously debating getting rid of of my v6 accord for a camry. I thought id NEVER see the day of a Camry being sexy.yet its here
J that's because they r probably getting paid to promote Accord. The 18 Camry is superior to the 18 Accord by a long shot. Trust me I own one and it has a lot of power.
+Jank Paul Downsizing and turbocharging is very overrated. The Camry's larger displacement V6 will likely be smoother, be more responsive, be more reliable long-term, and it will likely get about the same gas mileage in real-world driving. Honda is just simply whoring itself to regulators.
what's there to talk about. 1 makes more power, the other makes more torque. And From a pure driving dynamics perspective I would rather have the accord simply for the manual. Toyota transmissions units have always been a bit lazy, and nothing beats the fun of rowing your own gears.
Good video, but a little bit biased! If you tell people that new Accord has 10 speed auto, why do not you mention that this transmission is only for 2 liter engine? 1.5 l engine gets a CVT transmission, which might be a deal breaker for many people..... On the other hand, the Camry has 8 speed transmission for 2.5 and 3.5 l engines, and the hybrid is eCVT. I tested the Honda CRV 2 months ago, and there was a vibration when vehicle is in gear at traffic lights. I hope they fixed this problem....
This comparison makes no sense the trim levels are different can someone say bias. The Xse will blow this Accord away both in looks and performance. Toyota safety sweet comes standard.
This video made me cringe at how badly you can tell he was paid by honda to down talk the camry. He focused more on that ugly honda, had more "preferences" towards that honda and also left out the specs of the camry at the end of the video. TFL, please don't become sellouts. Your channel is very informative but it won't be soon if you're going to make sponsored and completely biased videos.
1:38 Toyota Camry's cutout in the center console divider is a significant boon for tall drivers providing extra room for the right knee and improving driving position. Honda, on the other hand, offers a manual. Those two features I would love to combine.
+Sabra-Sharaya Abner We at TFL are always transparent. There we were dozen of journalists at this event from all big magazines and outlets. We tell you guys what the events are and how they work.
Might as well call it Top reasons why the Honda Accord is better, I wanted to hear differences between both vehicles not just the Accord, because I'm a Camry fan
The only way possible is Honda to put in their ancient J37 engine which is just a longer stroke version of the J35, and gets horrible gas mileage (mid 20's highway) so not worth the extra power. This is the reason the V6 is no longer offered - the J series is a nearly twenty year old engine design that has been maxed out for what it can do. It's a heavy engine that sits tall in a sedan - you will see the hoodline has been dropped a good amount as it no longer needs the clearance, resulting in better visibility.
ThatGearHead I test drove the 2017 V6 Accord Couple Touring and the 2017 Civic Hatchback Sport Touring and the Civic was hands down the better car even with the smaller engine. I purchased the Civic 😉
I recently test drove the 2018 camry V6 with 300hp. On my test drive, i tested various advance safety functions such as lane departure with steering assist, adaptive cruise control, heads up display. Overall, its a great car compared to previous generation. It looks better in person in the XSE trim (which i drove). My initial impressions on how it drives are as follows: ride is comfortable, handles well, corners relatively flat with little bit of body roll, goes over expansion joints and rough pavement with ease without interior rattles or harshness coming in to cabin. The ride is not stiff like my current 2016 accord sport although it doesn't corner like the accord does. The interior was nice and felt expensive. Stereo was better than my accord with good mid and lows and decent amount of bass. The infotainment system was relatively slow and looked dated although functions just fine. It was great at detecting car exiting a lane and alerting the driver and even steering back into lane. Head up display was large and but takes time get used to. The centre screen between gauges was incredibly confusing to understand. The font was too small and it just didn't displayed information in a clear and concise manner like my current accord does. I have Honda Sensing on my Accord Sport. I use it on a daily basis on my commute to work which is 70% highway and i find the lane keep assist incredibly useful as it works really well by keeping me in the centre of the lane even through 20-30 degree curves at 55-70mph. It is a feature that needs to be tested to fully appreciate its functionality on a daily basis. I was expecting the camry to have the lane keep assist feature as well but i didn't and to my knowledge it wasn't offered on any trim or at least on the XSE. This was a huge disappointment for me. In addition, the car didn't wow me with its acceleration on highway speeds when passing. It took some time to downshift and there was a noticeable delay. I didn't feel like the car had 300hp. It felt slightly faster than my accord sport but not significantly faster. I tried the manual mode and although it shifted down quickly i found that paddles felt cheep to touch and the way they engaged. I went in to the test drive with an open mind and i had high expectations but it did't have the wow factor that i was looking for. I didn't feel like looking back at it when walking away from it like i do with my accord. I didn't like the new 2018 accord front end and rear end at first but with time it has grown on me. It probably looks better in person. Another thing to consider is that, there is a huge difference between how a camry LE looks vs an XSE looks. The front end is sporty on XSE but the LE just looks like a whale which is sadly the version most of us will see on the roads. i think people think of XSE when they imagine a new camry and not the LE. Thats where i find that accord has an edge. The base, sport and touring versions look very similar with minimal changes like slightly darker front grill on the sport. There isn't a totally new look on base model like the camry which I can live with on a daily basis. The LE version already looks dated and it's not going to age well compared to the accord. Lastly, I think we should wait till we see more reviews and see both cars on the road to decide which is better. I am eager to test drive the accord. Accord has always been engineered for performance oriented customer and i believe the new engine options won't disappoint us. The camry V6 that everyone loves at the moment isn't any faster than the old model and the 4 cylinder is actually slower 0-60 than current accord 4 cyl with less power. Currently, comment sections are filled with exact same comments by people who will never be buying any of these cars. Everyone states two things in favor of Camry and its usually the V6 engine option and its looks in XSE version. I have yet to see a comment praising the base version of camry with its big mouth. Lets just wait till October 2nd when driving experience embargo will be lifted and we can finally make a decision. If you have any questions leave a reply.
Style is subjective. I always find myself looking back at my XSE😏. The black exterior with the red interior really makes the car pop. Always receive compliments wherever I go. Imo the accord shines when your looking dead on at the front. Camry (especially SE and XSE) kills from all other angles.
Wtf !!! Right when we thought you'd mention the camry has V6 you just skipped and went on to speak more sponsored bullshit about Accord ... Disliked and reported as hate speech 😂😂
Hey Andre, I bet the location brings back some MMUSA Memories! My wife and I stayed at the Omni Mt. Washington this past summer. Beautiful area! COG RR and the auto road are both awesome and very worthwhile. Great work on the review!
The accords infotainment system looks like the screen is aftermarket. the toyotas is actually built into the car. Also the SE should have been used for this. it looks much better. Both are good cars always have been and always have liked them both. But toyota is always on top
Well Toyota is a bigger company than Honda after all. Toyota had the backing of Japanese Government and Soichiro Honda sold his original engine bearing company to Toyota (he was supplying Toyota), before starting Honda Motor Co. :)
Which one is quieter at hwy speed? Looking for the quietest sedan. Saw several reviews where they said the new Camry is actually louder than before. Thanks
301hp vs 252hp.. Hmmm.. Also noticed how they showed the Camry with the " ugly" grill?? The only down side,in my opinion is no android or Apple car play and slightly less safety features. Styling inside and out Camry wins. Horsepower Camry wins. Blindspot monitoring, Accord wins. Apple and Android car play,Accord wins.
301hp vs 252hp, is not really the end of the story, the accord makes significantly more torque and much lower down in the rev range. let's face it, most people will never wring out a mid-size sedan to redline, on a day to day basis, the turbo motor will definitely be more sporty.
skifree True. But and this will kill sales, 19 states have laws that all vehicles must have a front license plate. And that will interfere with Hondas giant radar "dish". So if you live in one of the 19 states, you will have to drill into the already ugly ass front grill. BTW I own a civic so I'm not a honda hater.
I also own a civic, so it's really not a big deal if the accord does well or not, but I was also in the "NA engines are the best" until I drove and bought my civic. That turbo really does have some serious low end torque, and it makes my daily commute much more enjoyable (where on the old engines you would have to rev them out all the way and attract the attention of every cop in the area). As for the looks, I'm not defending it here at all. I personally find the front terrible design, its like they forgot to finish the lower bumper and just called it a day.
I'm a Toyota guy and I will admit the Accord looks more luxurious than the Camry, while the Camry is more sport looking. If you like the sports look go with the camry Se or XSE. Luxury go for the Accord Exl or Touring.
guess I'm one of the few people who prefers the LOOKS and Interior of the Accord over the Camry. From the side hind end quarters I see some Audi booty and going towards the front from the side I see some Malibu and Fusion.
Finally both of them look like real competition for one another. They both look incredible, and they’re both designed to gain some market share back from the crossovers.
As a Honda/Acura guy, the new Accord looks like shit. I was looking to replace my Acura RLX with something new, but I guess I'll stick my RLX until the wheels fall off.
Andre you do not have to pay extra for additionally safety features i.e. lane departure alert, Automatic High beams, Pre-collision w/pedestrian detection, and dynamic radar cruise control are standard on all trim levels for the 2018 Toyota Camry.
Once again people are yapping about 'no V6 this, no v6 that'. They are not selling.! The companies are 300k+ cars every year and less than 10k are V6! Same goes for the Coupe, nobody is buying them. So stop whining as if Honda or anybody is clueless, when the truth they are making business decisions based on YOUR shopping habits.
Another reason V6 sedans in this segment don’t sell well is because they are expensive! The V6 Honda Accord and V6 Camry sticker for nearly $40k. At that price point, most are considering a BMW, Mercedes, or Audi for just a couple thousand more.
Christopher Carter To be honest, and I'm just speaking for just myself here, I have owned a Euro R Accord (which was a 4 cyl) and I prefer it to the V6. It felt more agile, wasnt much slower in a straight line and was far more efficient. The V6 was basically a "drag strip" car.
2018 camry looks like a kids toy with those edgy lines, and gaudy interior. the accord looks classy and understated. a really adult looking car. let the kids have their camrys. and go racing with all that v6 power
Honda knocked this one out of the park. Standard sensing and standard led lights, Android auto/Apple car play + volume knob met my needs. I agree with Honda engineers both my wife and I along with our parents never even use standard sunroof, let alone paying for panoramic one
Since the late 90's this is the first Accord to look beautiful. It looks way better in every way that the Camry in both exterior and interior. Only gripe, wish they had a V6. Still Accord for the win.
im curious if you get the Honda and some years from now when the alternator is making noise or the transmission is making a strange noise if the noise cancellation will drown that out
I like the Accord better. It looks sportier and takes it’s own design preference, on the other side the Camry kinda looks like a Avalon. I vote Accord on this one
Fastbacks are making a comeback it seems. Not sure if I care for this Accord, but I'll say the front end looks good. I think this one goes to the Camry.
king99 lol yup You can tell he is making this video for Honda because they flew him out so he talking more good about the accord. Didn’t mention anything good about the Camry
Why do I feel like you've been taken hostage in this video? Something about the cadence of your voice and sweaty face. Are you okay? Do we need to get Liam neeson?
This review seems biased, full of nonsense, and doesn’t do either car justice. Even with the presenter’s negative review towards Camry, it makes me defend it, and like it even more over that weird/ugly Accord. Worst of all, this review actually disengages me from following TFL all together. Bye!
I think honda did a marvelous job on the interior! They definitely didn’t put as much work into the exterior but people should look more at the interior since that is where you spend most of your time...
Why do people want 300hp out of an economy/family car such as a Honda Accord? That power output is suited for Rear Wheel based vehicles or all wheel drive vehicles such as a used Infiniti G37. If you want over 300hp out of a four door car stock look at a used/new Infiniti sedan.
Good Review. The Accord competes with the Camry and Avalon. Overall the Camry powertrain is better. CVTs and Turbos can be troublesome as miles pile on.
(Sport) Accord VS (luxury) Camry ? Where is the sport XSE 300hp+ Camry? LOL pulled a fast one Honda ! Oh yeah Honda get the most simple looking trim Camry AND get it in boring sliver.. then use the sport accord in RED paint LOL. Both Accords Turbo engines are less powerful then both the Camry NA engines. The Camry base engine is the most powerful base engine in the class no Turbo needed. The XSE sport Camry is a better looking car inside and out then the accord.
Toyota4Life the Red Accord in the video is a Touring buddy... nice try though. The new Camry has the most powerful 4 cylinder in the class yet it’s still slower than the last generation Accord according to C&D (7.9 seconds vs. 7.5 for the 9th gen Accord) and the 1.5T Accord is supposed to be even faster than that.
Honda knew better than to have that XSE beside it because the design blows the Accord away. Then the only thing he talks about is the infotainment system?!? When people see the Camry XSE on the road it is OVER! I've had 6 Accords and Honda blew it this time...
slimcpa it’s a Camry and an Accord. Has anyone ever bought these things because of styling? I think both cars are pretty attractive, but I think the Accord will be the better package. More standard features, more interior room, cheaper, and better interior quality.
I hate when people talk about 300+ hp Camry which is totally false. Toyota is struggling to build a high performance car for example Supra .Celica .MR2 they can't bring those cars back so 301hp Camry is fake
LOL, you must be very delusional to think that the 2018 Camry is slower than the current Accord, hell even than the previous gen Camry. HERE are the ACTUAL 0-60 time for both cars according to the manufacturers and engineers themselves: '18 Camry w/ I4: 7.5 seconds '17 Accord w/I4: 7.8 seconds '17 Camry w/ I4: 8.1 seconds '18 Camry w/ V6: 5.5 seconds (same 0-60 for the Civic Type R too, btw) '17 Accord w/ V6: 5.7 seconds '17 Camry w/ V6: 5.8 seconds As for the acceleration winner, does this ring any bells?: cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/head-to-head-honda-accord-vs-toyota-camry
Toyota comes standard with their safety sense such; Pre-collision system with pedestrian detect, lane departure alert with steering assist, dynamic radar cruise control and automatic high beam
Compare the Accord sport to the Camry SE and the styling is better in the Camry. The Accord looks like a newer version on the old Accord Crosstour. And that car looked awful
@Polestar Wes. I liked the Crosstour as it had available AWD. Rumor has it that because of America's demand for crossover SUV's, Honda is bringing back a redesigned Crosstour in late '18 or early '19
You have not mentioned the problems with Turbo engines. Its not something that a typical family sedan buyer would like. This is the main reason that many smart buyers would choose the Camry.
I know the specs already but your Comparing the cars yet you left out the specs on the Camry, the best part.
Jand K it's because they already made a video about the camry
Honda brought him there, so I don't blame him.
Jand K He was paid by Honda to make the Accord look good.
New word of the day “Swoopy”
What a sponsored biased review. You should at least put a disclaimer in the tittle or description not waiting until the end of the video to say how Honda flew you out. You compare the top of the line Accord to the base level Camry. If you were going to compare the top of the line engine for this generation Accord, you should've tested the top of the line engine in the Camry. The V6 that produces 301 hp and offers a quad exhaust. The Camry this generation out did the accord by miles.
The 'quad exhaust' you're referring to is actually only a single main line, divided cat-back with quad tips
Miguel Talavera I know. Some of these reviews are a joke! 😝
Toyota Safety Sense is standard on all Camry’s - the forward camera/radar combination doesn’t cost anything from Toyota. Confused by what you mean around 2:50
Hasty One kinda sad. Some respect lost here
Travis Milbrandt I think he was being honest here.
It was confusing , I think cross traffic alert on comes on the xle as standard
It’s standard on all Accords too, but stuff like ACC and lane departure mitigation are also standard on all Accords but not on Camry. That’s what he meant.
I'll take the Camry V6 over the 2.0 turbo in the Accord plus I think the Accord is not the best looking car.
johnny barrett, be honest with you.. 2.0T is really fast 10 speed over v6 in camry sucks. i like camry, but ugly font and trailer
I dont know why people bash the new accord it looks great
Ian Farley looks like an accord crosstour. Id hardly call that great.
I respect your opinion but im giving honda extreme props it kills me that both the coupe and v6 are gone but im not going to hate on it all in the end it is honda they DO know what they are doing
only the headlights look great. take away the headlights and its fugly.
Dont worry hyndai will combine the front and back for you
they may make a better car in your opinion which has nothing to do with my original comment, but i know for a fact that their head designer has the easiest job in the world take two cars you like, open Photoshop copy and paste.
So many triggered fanboys. SMH
im jonny why so serious
Lol, Koreans copy everything, amirite?
John Frasier sad but true
Rather have a camry xse v6 in white with the black roof and red seats. First time saying i would choose a camry over a accord.
Camry is the better looking car
very true but honda has better headlights and taillights. camry shouldve made full led headlights and tail lights standard across the lineup.
Nice! Both vehicles seem to offer what most people are looking for in this segment. I can't wait to review each of these. From one car enthusiast to another, keep up the great work! 👍🏽
I already have the new Camry. Been reviewing this from an owner's perspective.
CastrejonHDTV, Awesome! I'll have to give your videos a look.
DriveAndBeDriven
I've always preferred the Accord, but now that they've abandoned normal aspiration, the Camry is what I'd choose.
emdec55 good choice
The tablet sticking out of the dash of that Malibu, really just doesn't do it for me...
2019 Altima will also be getting the tablet like head unit.
😂
For the record Toyota Safety Sense is Standard on all 2018 Camrys
I'm pretty sure Camry is the one that includes driver safety assist on all models
Joe Q read the reviews of people who actually bought this car. Camry sucks
Joe Q Edmunds.com customers review
Honda sensing comes standard on the 2018 accord, from ex to 2.0 touring
Camry will always be better
Wade Higgins in your dreams and Toyota is still not the best anymore!
Whatever you say yonda ila.
Heyu Yoma yes and they try hard to be sexy that design will not age welll anyway the Camry design won’t last like that because that not who they are.
very true but they need to make their led lights standard. come on toyota. the design is amazing but they still dont make led standards.
"The absolute biggest difference between the Accord and Camry is under the hood...". You didn't even mention the Camry's drivetrain!
Joseph Isom It was. It's the Accord introduction video. He was paid by Honda to be there. He said it himself... near the end of the video.
+Iggi Valencia This is the way nearly every magazine and channel get to drive new vehicles at these launch events.
Iggi Valencia 2.0t is quicker than the v6 in the Camry. Do your research dumbass
You never even told us about the Camry engine. What a bad review. Too biased.
+J As Andre said, this is from a 2018 Accord event, which is the new car and the focus of the comparison.
Whats the point in showing the camry if youre not going to show undwr the hood of it? Or at least drive it. Im seriously debating getting rid of of my v6 accord for a camry. I thought id NEVER see the day of a Camry being sexy.yet its here
LifeHacks4All the newer you buy the more expensive they get
J that's because they r probably getting paid to promote Accord. The 18 Camry is superior to the 18 Accord by a long shot. Trust me I own one and it has a lot of power.
The new Camry XSE white with black wheels looks sinister
I’d get the Camry if I had to pick between the 2. The V6 is the big reason why.
Robert Schneider what exactly does the V6 do for you?
+Jank Paul Downsizing and turbocharging is very overrated. The Camry's larger displacement V6 will likely be smoother, be more responsive, be more reliable long-term, and it will likely get about the same gas mileage in real-world driving. Honda is just simply whoring itself to regulators.
+Josh I agree
Jank Paul Gets me on the Highway much faster without any Turbo Lag especially up here in NY commuting every day.
Josh Exactly. It just doesn’t have the V6 Sound.
HONDA SPONSORED BUT CAMRY IS WAAAAYYYYYY BETTER.. TALK ABOUT THE MOTORS MORE!!!!!
what's there to talk about. 1 makes more power, the other makes more torque.
And From a pure driving dynamics perspective I would rather have the accord simply for the manual. Toyota transmissions units have always been a bit lazy, and nothing beats the fun of rowing your own gears.

The Accord interior materials look cheap. They might feel nice but the textures just make everything look like a kid's toy...
This comparison makes no sense the trim levels are different can someone say bias. The Xse will blow this Accord away both in looks and performance. Toyota safety sweet comes standard.
I want to like the accord...just can't. Looks like an old persons car. Camry for the win
The safety is standard in Toyota...not extra.
+Jorel Davis Yes, with the exception of the feature mentioned.
The Fast Lane Car what mentioned feature because everything I heard is also standard on Toyota, not extra
not bsm, you have to pay extra for that where on accord its standard
This video made me cringe at how badly you can tell he was paid by honda to down talk the camry. He focused more on that ugly honda, had more "preferences" towards that honda and also left out the specs of the camry at the end of the video. TFL, please don't become sellouts. Even if you think the car is ugly, the side profile of the 2018 accord is amazing!
NootNoot! You mean the Impala?
This was not a Mashup, more like a Toyota Bashup. What a joke
The accord looks like a fake Malibu/impala
If the Honda had a better grille over the intercooler, it’d look a helluva lot better. Other than that it has a beautiful fastback design.
This review seems to favor the Accord. He didn't even say what the Camry's engine offer is... You usually do a lot better TFL
1:38 Toyota Camry's cutout in the center console divider is a significant boon for tall drivers providing extra room for the right knee and improving driving position. Honda, on the other hand, offers a manual. Those two features I would love to combine.
The accord looks terrible, and I rather have the v6 Camry xse over the four bangers in the accord
haha 2.0 turbo beat v6 :D why not can you ask your friend who have 2.0t accord vs your v6 camry test?
The more I look at the Honda.... the more I like the styling.......
I love the vast amount of fake vents on the front of the Camry it really makes it look cheap and lame.
Biased comparison, and a biased reporter. The whole clip is just an ad for Honda. Fire this clown, thanks.
The Honda Accord looks uglier than its past iterations. Sad.
I prefer the new Camry.
Honda knew better than to have that 18 XSE Camry as a comparison vs the XLE..slick...
slimcpa that’s what they could find I barely see them!
its toytota fault for not making their damn led lights standard across the lineup like the accord. stupid toyota
You went through the entire video before mentioning it was basically sponsored by Honda. And that explains the way you discussed the two vehicles.
+Sabra-Sharaya Abner We at TFL are always transparent. There we were dozen of journalists at this event from all big magazines and outlets. We tell you guys what the events are and how they work.
Brought to you by Honda.
Might as well call it Top reasons why the Honda Accord is better, I wanted to hear differences between both vehicles not just the Accord, because I'm a Camry fan
I was really hoping for a 300+ horsepower V6 Accord for 2018 :(
ThatGearHead not enough people bought the v6 accord
The 2.0T is faster than any v6 for sure i own a audi a5 2.0T 230hp and i am faster than the 350z 2008

oldtwins so they couldn’t invest on a 3.0T
+S. Central Keystone Yes! Nathan and Andre were at the top of Mount Washington in September of 2015. Ahhh memories.
Nice review Andre! I'd rather listen to you than Roman any day. Keep up the good work!
Which one is quieter at hwy speed? Looking for the quietest sedan. Saw several reviews where they said the new Camry is actually louder than before. Thanks
This video is not reviewing both cars, is about why this man loves the Accord.
I personally find the front terrible design, its like they forgot to finish the lower bumper and just called it a day.
skifree It does look like that!! "Hey lets put a grill on the lower half." Nah, we're good.
Fong Xiong the Camry is ugly as well
I like more the accord style but i want the v6 like in the camry
All these "v6 is gone, I won't buy the new Accord" even though they've never had one in the first place
2018 camry looks like a kids toy with those edgy lines, and gaudy interior. the accord looks classy and understated. a really adult looking car. let the kids have their camrys. and go racing with all that v6 power
Honda should give it up. this Accord is FUGLY! PERIOD!
Un Carrier T-Mobile USA Toyota give up Camry is so damn ugly!
Un Carrier T-Mobile USA T-Mobile is trash!!
Heyu Yoma 🙏!
Both cars are best in their segments. Can't go wrong.
Does Accord still shake? I drove 2 previous models and they were shaking from engine
too biased. camry v6 will dust accord
Jawadul Karim actually the accord 2.o turbo is faster to 0-60. Do some ducking research
which one you think is a better car??
The honda is so ugly.....disclaimer at the end, sponsored by Honda. HA!
I agree. Love the front of the Accord and Love the rear of the Camry. Wish we could mesh the two.
Honda knocked this one out of the park. Standard sensing and standard led lights, Android auto/Apple car play + volume knob met my needs. I agree with Honda engineers both my wife and I along with our parents never even use standard sunroof, let alone paying for panoramic one
Did you test it at or near the Washington hotel NH? That's a wonderful place
If he had said this was an Accord commercial to start with I could have saved time. 5 minutes I'll never get back...thanks
Since the late 90's this is the first Accord to look beautiful. It looks way better in every way that the Camry in both exterior and interior. Only gripe, wish they had a V6. Still Accord for the win.
im curious if you get the Honda and some years from now when the alternator is making noise or the transmission is making a strange noise if the noise cancellation will drown that out
Accord is definitely UGLY AS HELL! Camry wins me over. V6 power available I'm all game!
ImportsRule007 you ugly with the Camry
Samuel Tan you look and smell like my 💩 I do in the toilet and you smell like my fart and you also smell like my rotten diarrhea 😷🤢!
Accord is growing on me. I suspect it'll look much better in person
I like the Accord better. It looks sportier and takes it’s own design preference, on the other side the Camry kinda looks like a Avalon. I vote Accord on this one
Extremely biased.. reviewers like this give UA-cam a bad name..
Fastbacks are making a comeback it seems. Not sure if I care for this Accord, but I'll say the front end looks good. I think this one goes to the Camry.
Honda looks like an azera from the back. I'll take the v6 Camry. No turbos for me.
Camry will eventually add a turbo
I'm sure they will, but for the foreseeable future, i kinda doubt it. Nothing in their lineup has turbos (not counting Lexus)
Honda paid sponsor!!!
True, he didn't even talk about the camry
king99 lol yup You can tell he is making this video for Honda because they flew him out so he talking more good about the accord. Didn’t mention anything good about the Camry
Toyota4Life he mentioned the things the Accord does better than the Camry, which I suspect is everything... just like always.
True@Toyota4life. @TFLcar...Please keep the reviews honest.
ABSOLUTELY !!!
I just bought a 2018 Camry hybrid , it’s awesome !
Camry vs. Accord?? OK, I might watch this one night at 4am when I have insomnia and need something to put me to sleep.
I was wondering why he was biased towards the accord until the end when I realized honda paid him to make their car look better lmao
The Accord is gonna look fresh longer than the Camry.
Why do I feel like you've been taken hostage in this video? Something about the cadence of your voice and sweaty face. Are you okay? Do we need to get Liam neeson?
+Tim Flohr Andre is OK. :)
You guys were in NH for this video?! I'm from there!
Kelley Blue Book's 2018 Best Buy Awards
Overall Winner: 2018 Honda Accord
Small Car: 2018 Honda Civic
Mid-Size Car: 2018 Honda Accord
Do the camry xse !
Does the Accord still have bad road noise?
HERE are the ACTUAL 0-60 time for both cars according to the manufacturers and engineers themselves:
'18 Camry w/ I4: 7.5 seconds
'17 Accord w/I4: 7.8 seconds
'17 Camry w/ I4: 8.1 seconds
'18 Camry w/ V6: 5.5 seconds (same 0-60 for the Civic Type R too, btw)
'17 Accord w/ V6: 5.7 seconds
'17 Camry w/ V6: 5.8 seconds
As for the acceleration winner, does this ring any bells?: cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/head-to-head-honda-accord-vs-toyota-camry
Toyota comes standard with their safety sense such; Pre-collision system with pedestrian detect, lane departure alert with steering assist, dynamic radar cruise control and automatic high beam
To be fair the video should have been titled, "The things I like about the new 2018 Accord."
Would love to see a unbiased review. And why would anyone compare a sport trim to the LE when Toyota has a SE trim?
Compare the Accord sport to the Camry SE and the styling is better in the Camry. The Accord looks like a newer version on the old Accord Crosstour. And that car looked awful
Polestar Wes oh yeah it does looke like the crosstour
@Polestar Wes. I liked the Crosstour as it had available AWD. Rumor has it that because of America's demand for crossover SUV's, Honda is bringing back a redesigned Crosstour in late '18 or early '19
Omg Yes!
Polestar Wes compare it to the XSE! No competition!
the only thing that saved the front of the accord are the audi inspired led headlight lights.
I don't care about that Honda Crap!!! I want more news about the CAMRY !!! Just stop that Accord 👊🏻
One looks like a car, while the other one (the one you seem to sponsor) looks like my grandmother's dentures.
You have not mentioned the problems with Turbo engines. Its not something that a typical family sedan buyer would like. This is the main reason that many smart buyers would choose the Camry.
Active noice BS is a pain in the ass if you would like add a subwoofer. They use the speakers to cancel the noises and the sub goes crazy.
