Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig announced on January 19, 2000, that the 30 Major League club owners voted unanimously to centralize all of Baseball's internet operations into an independent technology company. Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM) was formed and charged with developing, building and managing the most comprehensive baseball experience available on the internet. Even as a diehard Braves fan, I'm smiling watching these clips. Life was simple, baseball was amazing, miss this era.
Rey ordonez, Edgardo Alfonso,
Robin ventura, John olerud should all have their own day at citi field. They were an important part of mets history in that late 90s early 2000s era and one of the best infield in all of baseball
As a diehard Mets fan, those names bring back so many great memories.
Childhood memories
My God.. we had a squad back then.
Smiling. Huge
THE 1999 METS HAD THE BEST DEFENSIVE INFIELD IN MLB HISTORY WITH OLERUD AT FIRST, ALFONZO AT SECOND, ORDONEZ AT SHORTSTOP ANDVENTURA AT THIRD BASE.
lol @ Franco prancing at 7:24
Good times
Oh what could have been... I was at game 4 NLDS and when Todd Pratt hit that home run the stadium was a rocking as only Shea could rock
So was my dad, he knew right that Finley missed it. He was sitting in the third deck where we usually sat at shea. He had a perfect view of it. He was wondering why everyone wasn’t cheering at first. Of course, it’s because they didn’t have the same view.
6:34 Buck is not happy with this Mets team
I'm pretty sure Todd Pratt and John olerud were never on the same team together
Fonzie and Olerud
It would be something special to hear Mojo Rising again in the 2022 season.
