The thing is, this is good for children. We can't isolate our children from rejection. Her daughter got a taste of rejection and not only got to see how it feels, but how to handle it. I think this was tougher on the mom. I could tell she was crushed but she had to keep herself composed so she could be a good example to her daughter.

This woman is sick. She claims her daughter came to her with this product idea? All her products are for children. She is asked one question and starts crying to detract attention from how she lost a fortune, then literally blames her child for losing 166.000$. As soon as one shark is out, she presents a whole new product disattached from her whole pitch. Worst part: When Lori is out, she says; "It's okey" to her daughter, like it's her fault. You say "just trying to find" like it's a bad thing (and 350 other idiots agree with your view) when making multiple products as a kids' brand. The problem here was the pitch because she started by selling one product instead of the real thing, the company that makes multiple products. She should have sold a percentage of BigBeeLilBee and used the investors to consolidate that if it had merit. This is always a problem for the sales process in this tv show and very few come out with a deal, like what happened with alpha m and his donkey product.

Lots of companies pander to their audience like this on Shark Tank. It's a performance that they hope will resonate with their target customer, capture the hearts of the sharks, and entertain viewers. Their business is a mix of fun craft products for kids and it would have been odd if she pitched it in a suit with a rigid demeanor. The pitch certainly missed the mark, but their approach could have been successful if executed properly.

What do you mean by: "Seeing the mother and daughter's relationship was great."? The mother was so manipulative, obviously showing off her daughter for pity points. The daughter was like a prop, which is terrible. How was their relationship "great"? Marlo even says in the end: "I'm happy that momma got what she wanted, she always wanted to be on Shark Tank." This makes it clear that the daughter was just dragged along by a woman who can't take no for an answer.
