Thanks for sharing. This is one of the best PAL video I've ever seen. More detailed and the view from the window, it's not obstructed by the big wing. Magaling!!!
Thank you for the mention in the credits in this video, Mitch! Warmly, == Nick == in sunny hot Florida, USA! I am glad you are safe and not hurt by the Japanese earthquake and Tsunami as well as the radiation yet! :-)
grabe ilang beses ko ng pinanood ito...para ma view ang cabin ng 747, pati crew rest area, and syempre para ma kita si Robert hahahah! sana we bump into each other para naman masama ako sa mga videos mo :)
@antichixbobax Wow! Nako, pano ba yan, may vids ako aboard 5J and may mixed reactions doon, hahaha! Anyway, i'm not closing my doors on 5J and maybe I'd do travel vids uli one of these days. Nice to have a pilot enjoy my travel vids. Thank you for watching! :-)
@kyoheitakano55 Kaya mo rin yan. May nakasama akong subscriber, pumunta lang ng Cebu para magpa survey sa mga pilots, haha! Di ko pa nae-edit yung vid. A340 sakay namin non. Thank u for watching! :-)
@tuxedo32mania Sobrang dami na. Been traveling since I was 8. Naabutan ko pa yung BAC-111 ng PAL tsaka DC-9 ng Cebu Pacific, tsaka L-1011 ng Cathay Pacific, hahaha!
@nytrisco Oi! Musta na? Wala, yun pa rin- kung ano ginamit ko to shoot the grad vid, yun pa rin- Nokia N95 tsaka N70. Di ako nakahiram ng hi tech na cam e, hahaha! ;-)
Hi Chukkoi, I so love your videos. A friend told me to visit Cebu on my way to Seoul but I chose Thailand instead. I wish now I had chosen Cebu as its so beautiful, just as he discribed.
kaya pala, napansin ko eto on my flights to Manchester UK from HK on a 747 plane. Napansin ko nagsilabasan mga FA sa likod ng eroplano dun pala banda yung sleeping area nila...very nice.
Fare depends on the month you're traveling, and the airline you're flying. I usually fly PAL because I can earn miles which I can use to redeem for free flights. Flying time from Manila to Cebu is approximately 1 hour and 15 mins. I usually stay in Fuente/Osmena area as it is near the malls and shops. :-)
Hey Chukkoi, I'll be flying with pal around sometimes maybe early or mid may so just wondering what do you reckon what's the best time to ask the crew to visit the flight deck....upon boarding mid flight or upon landing...........Do you think they allow people to see the flight deck? Well to be honest i really think so cos i saw some of your vids.....anyway thanks in advance.
@skratchkamot I've thought of that, but 1) it eats up time, 2) by the time I reach 11 minutes running time, I 'm already burned out, 3) I dunno what's gonna happen on the next part as I don't follow a script. How to keep people excited? Hmmm... do I have to? Haha!
Now I know why the F/A's are always coming and going on that side of the plane by the lavatories on Korean Air's 747-400! Very interesting video, thanks as always :)
They are pretty busy during boarding so I doubt you'll be entertained at that time. Definitely they wont let passengers into the cockpit during flight for safety reasons. The best time to visit the flight deck is after most of the passengers have disembarked, in which it wont always be 100% sure due to factors such as having a quick turnaround, delays, etc. But you can always try. It wont hurt to ask. I get turned down sometimes, but when I'm allowed to, I make the most of my time there. :-)
next time u fly domestic, can u pls. ask why one domestic flights they always put the bridge after the forward economy section, instead of putting B4 31A? thanks!!!
@antichixbobax Oh, not with how pilots fly in 5J. It's the system actually- delays, frequent changing of gates, etc. Other than that, I really can't turrn my back lalo na when fares really go low... sinisilip ko prices, hehe! Yeah, hope to see u on board! Ingats!
Oh, just a suggestion. Since you can't fit one whole travel documentary in one vid and you divide it into parts, try having putting at the preview of part 2 at the end of part 1 as a teaser. This way, you would get people more excited to watch out for your next video.
I have a question, usually diba just before landing or taking off they say to turn off all electronic devices, but does that include camcorders for recording takeoffs and landings? How do the cabin crew feel about that?
yeah. tama ka. I even thought they were doing something and scrambled when they noticed me coming. hahaha...muntik tuloy ako mapasorry sa limang mga FA na dumaan sa harap ko na nagmamadali. hahaha
Yeah we'll see about that usually philippines airlines allow passenger to visit the flight deck after landing but i might change my ticket to thai airways cos' of the additional fees they want me to pay upon check in cos of the rebooking.........I've flown kuwait airways before & they neever allow somebody to visit the cabin i hope thai airways will do.
Thanks for sharing. This is one of the best PAL video I've ever seen. More detailed and the view from the window, it's not obstructed by the big wing. Magaling!!!
