With the strict/tough requirements, many don’t apply at all for fear of rejection other than it demands proof that you either have a huge sum in your bank account or have a stable and high paying job. Jesus, it sucks so much that many people from different countries just can't go somewhere without a proper piece of paper... Just ridiculous how, let's say, you're allowed to stand on one spot but to go even 100 meters away from it you'd be required to have a permission.
Hello Mike! It's alright... countries have reasons having that kind of set up as they need to protect their borders. Not everyone has good intentions in visiting. Being so near to visiting Europe freely but held back by walls and windows, it is kinda frustrating, but I'm turning it into a drive to save up and meet the requirements in getting a Schengen visa this year. Hopefully I can enter Europe freely next time. Thank you for your support, and for watching my travel blog! :-)

When I first got to Russia, i was honestly saddened not to see welcoming smiles at the airport. But from my research that Russians don’t easily smile at strangers, i’ve accepted that fact and was still challenged to talk to some staff at the airport. True that it takes a while to make them smile (and laugh) and when you make them do, it felt like you’re friends who haven’t seen each other for a long time! 😄 The vodka offered to me was very good! Even the bar tender became friendly enough to care and warn me not to drink too much. As a European it's interesting to see the west with the eyes of somebody from the east! Crazy idea, but it apparently worked! :)
Great job Mitch. Thank you for sharing. I felt like I went on this journey with you. Looking forward to the next one!
The Dutch should be proud of themselves. Well done.
I found them very helpful, friendly, with outgoing personalities... i just love it! 😊
That's just how we are ;-)
We can't help it, it is the way we were raised.
But it is always nice to hear how foreigners experience our way of life.
Thanks.
The Dutch are racist though
Yeah it's true we as belgians love them they are much more lovely then us
I miss flying, I hope everything will be normal soon. Great flight vlog by the way!
I hope so too... ☺️ Keep safe, and thank you for watching! 😊
I found this video on my recommended and I have to say this trip was EPIC!! But it also made me realize how privileged I am and how grateful I should be for not needing visas prior to travelling. KLM crew are the best (and free booze on their flights lol). I really hope your situation gets better and your visa applications get approved :)
What a mad lad but hats off for having the courage to do something like this.
Thank you for watching, Romeo! I never thought this kind of trip was possible but it is! :-)
This is really a ridiculous type of travelling but for aviation geek like you I know this is a special experience of a lifetime you will cherish. Experiencing multiple airlines and airports in 1 travel is a dream experience for avgeeks! I myself who works in airport industry was surprised with your "transit travelling" experience that you just shared. You're so brave to do this. Yet, I enjoy watching your experience.
Thanks for sharing this informative video Sir. this is very helpful.
This was both fun and sad to watch. I would give you my German passport to travel the world if I could.
Awesome job Mitch thanks for the journey
taray nito ito ang pinaka gusto kong video mo never get tired of watching, naliligo lang sa UK 😂 nice journey sana makasama ako sa vlogs mo 👍☺️
Hahaha! Matagal ko na plinano ito, tsaka sa mga niyaya ko sumama, natatakot baka daw madeport. Sayang, mas masaya sana kung may kasama ako nitong biyahe. Planning to do something like this uli kaso ibang countries naman. Ur welcome to join! :-)
Somebody give this guy a visa he deserves it😭

Maybe someday we can get Japanese passports and travel the world visa FREE!

Nice to know this kind of possible adventure. 👌😀

Thank you for watching! 😊 Hope to visit Europe again... this time with a visa! 😁
Jesus, it sucks so much that many people from different countries just can't go somewhere without a proper piece of paper...
Just ridiculous how, let's say, you're allowed to stand on one spot but to go even 100 meters away from it you'd be required to have a permission.
Something is wrong with this world
@@chukkoi no problem man. I am in fact a former Aeroflot Flight attendant and well... as a Russian I experience similar kind of things when it comes to traveling. It's just borders never help. Look at Dubai and how opened and thriving this country is with so many opportunities. When there's a real threat no border will stop crime I think
I subscribed just for this guys positivity
I enjoyed the video a lot, thanks for sharing 😀
Thank you, Gabriel, for watching my travel vid! :-)
i have been in philippines 3 times now i really love it, cuz also the people are friendly here, i life in holland near amsterdam, if you decide to come here one day then come here in summer time, rather then winter time hehe to cold for filipinos haha
Hope to visit Holland soon... in the summertime! 😊 Thank you for watching! Likewise, you are very much welcome here in the Philippines! 😄
@@chukkoi hopefully soon going again for my vacation
I am a flight attendant and sometimes we kinda have just a really short time at our destinations to explore the places... I guess I will never complain about that again! U are just so precious and excited - reminds me of my early beggings in my job. Thumps up for this challenge and your positivity! 😊
I’m glad that the flight attendant have you a large bottle of Harrogate water. Harrogate is a spar town near the English city of Leeds, Yorkshire. Leeds is where my mum was born.
Hello Joseph! Yeah, that’s how nice I was treated on board Philippine Airlines. As for Leeds, my friend (and travel buddy seen in some of my blogs) is from Leeds... but I’m not sure if that’s the same place. He’s been inviting me to visit and do planespotting at Leeds Bradford Airport. Not sure if that’s the same area. But hopefully I get to visit and perhaps make blogs there. Looks like a nice place from the pictures I’ve seen. Thank you BTW for watching my travel blog! 😊😊😊
Mitch Young that is good to hear, have a nice time plane spotting at Leeds Bradford. I would highly recommend going down to Manchester Airport where you would find A350s, A380 and B787s.
The best vlog I watched. Grabe ung risk pero worth it. I enjoyed wathcing your vlog specially in this pandemic times...nakakatangal ng stress. God bless you sir Mitch and PAL as well.
Thank you, Mark! ☺️ Yes, that time I was prepared, should they deny me of my flight from HKG to SVO. But I really devoted some time on research, and that I know my plans would most likely push thru... 😄 Glad you enjoyed my blog! Thank you, thank you for watching! Godbless! ☺️
@@chukkoi binge watching your blogs. Thanks for showing commendations to the flight crews. Moral booster po siya. Praying that the aviation sector will bounce back soon and more travel blogs without restriction from you.
What a very awesome video sir! The best!
LOVE your vlogs! Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪🤩
Thank you Emma! Mabuhay from the Philippines! :-)
That is an amazing!!! Well done👍😁 achieve your dreams!
As a russian born, I would say it is tooo cold to smile 😂 kidding 😁
Thank you... :-)
Hahaha! One thing I found challenging (and enjoyed) while I was at SVO was getting people (Russians) to smile. It takes a while at first, and when I eventually make them to do so, they seem and talk like long time friends, hahaha! ;-)
When we got to Amsterdam from Germany via a train, the people were all just so like that flight attendant! Like they are ready to party!
The Dutch i’ve met we’re like that too! Either that or very friendly and courteous. They seem to be highly educated people who don’t see things as problems but rather they enjoy life as it is. They have a good way of relating with people. I simply like them. 😊
Mitch Young The Netherlands are the most diverse country in the world. In Amsterdam there are living people from more than 180 countries! Way more diverse than even New York and of course totally different to Asia.
This video made me smile through and through, for some reason.
Thank you for watching my travel blog, John! Have a good one! 😊
This is quite amazing!

Thank you Benny, for watching and for subscribing! :-)
KLM crew are very friendly, i traveled from Athens, to Amsterdam, had my conecting flight for tokyo, it was on my birthday and while on my first flight, the flight crew came to my seat with treats and a bappy birthday card, i was so touched by that and they were simply very kind and smily, on my flight to tokyo same thing, only there they gave me a glass of champaing and some crakers, and another card. I will buy frames to put the cards inside so i can keep them
trollkillers I also have nothing but good to say about KLM crews. It’s a very nice and friendly airline!
I also got champagne on my birthday, no card though
Dame it worked on what you wish for, good for you.
I love how you presented your video. I kept watching till end 👍
Thank you...!!! I appreciate it. 😊
What an exciting, nerve-racking, but very inspiring journey! I wish you all the best! I hope we get a schengen Visa soon! I am not a fan of airports so I don't think I would have enjoyed what you did but I enjoyed watching you do it! 😊
I feel so privileged to just be able to travel almost anywhere. Cheers from Romania
I have a Philippine passport. I'm just green with envy.
@@reynaldoflores4522 HAHAHA!!!! Poor you.
Yes, us Russians are not the smiley bunch, but Vodka helps:) to put a smile on one's face, but that was an awesome video, ur CRAZY, but i loved it:)
Vodka is that good that I might miss my early flight to Amsterdam. 😁 Would love to visit Russia again, hopefully next time with a visa! Thank you for taking time to write and for watching my travel blog! 😊
Mitch Young OMG u missed ur earlier flight - u need lessons on drinking vodka ;-) That PAL crew was soo sweet, made me want to fly with them ;-)
@@porusky Hahaha! No i didn't miss my flight. The bar tender just warned me not to drink too much as I might not be able to wake up on time for my flight. Anyhow, yes I need lessons on drinking vodka, and it'll be better to have some people to drink it with, too! ;-) I don't really drink, but the vodka offered to me was good! I couldn't feel its effects until when I tried to stand up, hahaha!!! Planning to visit St. Petersburg this year. I'm just amazed with Russia that I want to come back. This time I'll get a visa. Hopefully I get to post my travels to St. Petersburg this year too. Thank you, thank you again for writing! :-)

Mejo teary eyed ka on the way to UK. Dream come true for you sir.
apply for a schengen visa via the French embassy in Manila, more lenient compared to other EU countries
After this blog, i had the desire to see more of Europe. I hope this pandemic will soon be over. I know I’ll have this chance to visit the countries there, this time not just at the confined of its airports. Someday somehow. Thank you for watching! 😊

This was a unique adventure. And only for two days 😁 It would really take a lot of guts to do that and you did it. What can I say, Congratulations 🎊🎉
Not so much guts, but more foolhardiness. A lot of people know it can be done, but who wants to go through all that and spend that money just to monkey around in airports?

That's kinda risky of what you're attempting to achieve. But it's an adventure.
Bong D so true.
No real risk. At worst, he would've been detained for a short time and then deported back.
If that happened, I think he would've considered it as part of the experience and filmed it, too!

So true. We tried russian vodka as part of bartending class.

You're a very positive and appreciative guy, traits to be proud of! Beautiful video but it also made me sad that not all humans are born equally.
Also you should have got that flight attendants contact details, she was mega cute, never know when you may cross paths again.
Hello Greg! Thank you for your nice feedback! Well, that's how it is... as much as we want a perfect/utopian world, that's just the reality of it. I can only look at it as a drive to improve my situation so I can enjoy my goals one of these days. I'm actually saving up this year to meet the requirements in applying for a Schengen visa. With what I saw, Europe's worth saving up for. I want to visit again and hopefully this time I'll be free to enter and exit the surrounding countries. As for the flight attendant, I was surprised she messaged me in Instagram! She saw herself in my blogs is now following my account and liking some of my posts. I followed her too. Hope I'd see her again in one of my future flights with KLM. BTW, thank you for watching my travel blog! :-)

In a circle around the world. But that will take some years. Kind regards from The Netherlands...
Hello Patrick! I also dream of traveling around the world, even just by transiting or stopping in countries that don’t require visas for Philippine passport holders like me. One roadblock also is having the funds to do so... so yeah, it’s gonna take a long time but I’ll get there. Hope you get your wish sooner than me. Who knows. 😊 Good luck and safe travels! Next challenge. Around the world with no visas! 🛫🌎
Whoooo!!! Would love to do that!!! 😀😁😄
I think the biggest issue there would be to get over the American continent. Most travel from/to Europe goes through the US but you cannot connect through the US without having a visa.
@@Hans-gb4mvI want to share even if Canada - USA. Here in airports they have inspection for US bound passengers. Customs and TSA check and passports you do it in Canada and then when you go to USA , it would be a domestic flight.
I feel your pain. I'm from Egypt and I need a visa to almost any other country in the world. Schengen are a nightmare and most of other countries are near impossible but I loved your spirit and your positive attitude. Cheers.
Hello Fady! Thank you very much... some people think it's that easy to get a Schengen visa. It doesn't really work that way. I know friends who were able to meet all the requirements but were still turned down. I haven't personally applied yet and i do fear being turned down as it will be money down the drain if it happens. But I will take a chance this year. Hopefully I can visit Europe freely.
