Great video! I run my own business too. I would say the best advice is to find something you are really passionate about and then work on providing services or products based on that.
Tbf a lot of their viewers are young drivers who are striving to get onto the car scene but are limited by their financial status like 95% of young drivers.
+SaKuLification Quite the opposite I would say. People (such as myself when I was younger) like to know how people earn and spend their money so they can make better decisions about our own finances. I don't think there is anything wrong with this, if anything it's a good thing that young people ask these sorts of questions to the people in the video who have 'been there, done that' and can shed some insight on how to make financial decisions at a younger age.
i like chris the most sinds hes the 1 if the fwe youtubers that doesent sell his supercar first year he owns it some youtubes realy seem spoiled and dont appriciate anything.
I asked this a while back. I'm very curious what tech stack you built your software with in order to attain your wealth at such a young age? I'm a software developer and wanting to quit my crappy job.... AND buy an M3.
Just watched the beginning where you recommend to not finance anything. I originally planned to finance a new BMW M4 over 5 years, because I will be staying at my parent's house for around 6 years. Will be 19 if I get the job and out at 25 without any car debts. I mean, is that ok since I don't pay for other expenses like rent and etc?
+TheMidnightNarwhal Mate, i'm sure it sounds tempting but by god put that money towards a deposit on a house before even thinking about something like an M4. I know guys who drive expensive cars and still live with parents. I also know guys who have bought their own house and drive a 20 year old Fiesta. I know who gets my respect.
+TheMidnightNarwhal You can't guarantee that will be the case though. Anything could happen to make that not be the case, 6 years is a long time. I'm in the UK so can't directly compare the housing markets but here house prices on the whole are rising at a rate greater than inflation year on year. The earlier you get on the housing ladder the better. 35k CAD will most likely get you more now than in 6 years - not even taking inflation into consideration. Will you still feel like you've made the right choice with a 6 year old M4 on the driveway that's got the usual slight scuffs and faults. Even more so when the new M4 that's superseded yours drives past and yours doesn't quite excite you in the way it once did and is only worth 30% of what you first paid for it. I'm not trying to pour cold water on your passion. I think the M4 is an awesome car and its great that you've been doing a bit of financial planning, however, things rarely work out according to plan. It sounds like you'll have a relatively good job with some spare cash, an opportunity many people don't get. Use your financial advantage wisely. A property is (usually) the only thing you'll buy which will appreciate in any significant value. A high powered car (unless a classic of limited availability), with the exception of VW stocks, will depreciate quicker than anything else on this planet. There is nothing to stop you indulging and enjoying an M4 in 6 years time. It'll feel all the more sweeter pulling in to your own driveway at the end of a hard days work!
Josh Bowers Thanks for the info. Here's my response. Indeed not everything goes as planned and all this will be done only and after if I get the job I'm interested in. As for the M4, I do intend to keep it as long as possible, I already know I won't be the type of guy who likes to get a new car every 3 years or so, I would plan to keep it at least 8 years. But yeah, all this is still in a year or so so I have many time to maybe plan and see.
+TheMidnightNarwhal Personally I would say save that money and put it towards a house deposit instead... but obviously its your decision at the end of the day. I think financing a car over 5 years is kinda daft because for one thing you'll end up paying an awful lot in interest over 5 years, and also after a year or two you'll probably fancy a change. Not many people keep a sports car for 5 years. Yes you could sell it after a few years and pay the finance off, but depreciation in car value will normally mean its not going to cover the entire finance cost. I know you say you'd keep it for 8 years but that's absolutely impossible to say right now. 8 years is a LONG time.
+Makram Ben yes we've seen them both lol I think the front of the M2 looks better, but prefer the rear of the 1M personally. Each to their own. Looks are completely subjective so no point arguing about them
My question at 13:00, you gave an answer of Ibiza Cupra...wasn't the answer I was expecting as most people slate it but yeah as you can see by my photo I picked a hot Ibiza FR.
What would you say is the best job to get into job wise and to set up a business? Im coming up 17, saving up money to hopefully start a business in the next couple of years, but I literally have no clue what to do, all I know is that it must be car involved :|
+ThatGuyNamedScott. C haha if you think a paint stained BMW boot liner will make interesting viewing, I'll try and film a quick bit of it for an extras video or something. As for the sticker - he says only if you'll suck him off (ok, I made that up)
+shortyian it is more noticeable on the video than it is in real life, but yeah it does sound quite clunky because its a gated shifter. Its meant to sound like that (a lot of people like it)
+QuadHawk8 this year has been pretty similar to last year. The income has stopped going up each month like it did for the first year or two, but hasn't started going down. So I guess its still somewhere near the peak
First of all, please, I hate when ppl only bring HP and torque nr. as the only difference between cars, especially 35i and M-cars. M-cars are about so much more like the chassi, the gearbox, the wide track, M-diffs, breaks, engine cooling and performance(special cooling), suspension and alot more. Secondly, the 1M and M2 are far from each other in performance. The 1M does 8:12 around the nurburgring and the M2 does it in 7:58. Thats 14 seconds. Do you realize how big the performance diff must be? Again, stop talking about the HP and torque nr. And thirdly, the M2 is well worth the money. If you were to equipe an M235I with the same options as an basic M2 then you would end up far, far away from the M2 base price.
+Makram Ben Yeah I did say the peak power figures probably don't tell the full story, but they are one of the easiest things to compare. Comparing breaks or engine cooling etc without having driven the thing is pretty hard lol I wasn't aware of the nurburgring times. Look, you've obviously decided you love the M2 and whatever I say my reasons are for not wanting one, you'll find a way to say I'm wrong. So let's just agree to disagree.
+DedicationBlog Well, sometimes easy is very wrong. And you dont need to drive cars to know how their performance difference like cooling is etc. you just need to be educated about their facts. And no LOL. I dont love the M2. Everything I mentioned are facts and you obvisouly arent educated about the M2. I respect you not wanting one and you mentioned thats its your daily so nothing to really agrue about that, but dont present the M2 as something its not. Like when you compare it to the 1M in terms of performance and you say its equal. Anyway, nothing personal mate just cars :)
Do you regret buying an R8 when you took out a big mortgage for your house? Wouldn't it be wiser to have the house paid off first then splurge like that?
+mattilevi nah not at all. I already put a decent sized deposit down on the house when I bought it (before I bought the R8) and you can't pay off more than 10% of the mortgage each year without incurring extra fees. I do overpay the mortgage a bit each month. But even if it would save me a little bit of interest paying more off and not buying nice cars, I'd much rather have the nice cars lol
My question at 13:00, you gave an answer of Ibiza Cupra...wasn't the answer I was expecting as most people slate it but yeah as you can see by my photo I picked a hot Ibiza FR.
Thanks for answering the question guys. Should you ever come to NYC, I'll be happy to show you around.
I have an Audi R8 too... In my dreams.
+PushedToInsanity but u haz 260k subs on youtube so u must be millionaire
+DedicationBlog Well, estimated yearly earnings for him, "$7.6K - $121.7K"

Lol
Thanks for the reply! Also good luck with your Property Business!
27:00 "and all the toe and camber and stuff, naah fuck off" ... Pure gold
Great video! I run my own business too. I would say the best advice is to find something you are really passionate about and then work on providing services or products based on that.

The ending made the 30min worth it lol!!!
When your question gets ruined by a mclaren 😅😢😭😭
Cheers for taking the piss out if me Si😂😂. Cheers for the advise!!
It's interesting that so many questions are about your wealth and business, almost funny.
Tbf a lot of their viewers are young drivers who are striving to get onto the car scene but are limited by their financial status like 95% of young drivers.
JUNAID187
young and naive i guess.
+SaKuLification Quite the opposite I would say. People (such as myself when I was younger) like to know how people earn and spend their money so they can make better decisions about our own finances.

+Chlorophant Also, I would love to see your website for the product. I'm just really curious about your success!
How often do you go to London and if you do it would make for some great videos.
+NRP CARVIDEOS I've been twice in my entire life lol we live like 4 hours away and don't really have much of a reason to drive all that way
What do you guys think of the new 595 competitizone? maybe a biposto?
Yeah that's what I thought....

Josh Bowers It's just, at 25 when I'm out I will be able to afford a house. Will have around 35k CAD for a deposit.
+TheMidnightNarwhal You can't guarantee that will be the case though. Anything could happen to make that not be the case, 6 years is a long time. +djgerard82 yeah but absolutely no damage was done so I don't think it really counts
How did you not mention shmee as one of your fav when you talk about him all the time
+David Isoka-Onwordi since when do we talk about him all the time? lol we've probably mentioned him twice in about 100 videos
Lol I think I'm confusing you with life unleaded. My bad I'm not hating I like you guys and I'm studying IT at college you guys are inspirational
and btw, have you even seen the M2 compared to the 1M? I dont think so cause then you would see how much more aggresive the M2 looks.
+Makram Ben yes we've seen them both lol I think the front of the M2 looks better, but prefer the rear of the 1M personally. Each to their own. Looks are completely subjective so no point arguing about them
+DedicationBlog, well, youre right, we have different opinions and looks are subjective.

Questions & Answers ...Answers ? :)
Either the mic is over doing it or that gearstick sounds really clunky / clicky when you change gear?
+shortyian it is more noticeable on the video than it is in real life, but yeah it does sound quite clunky because its a gated shifter. Its meant to sound like that (a lot of people like it)
are they together?
+lo l No
If you don't mind me asking but are you at the peak of your career or was that a few years ago?
+QuadHawk8 this year has been pretty similar to last year. The income has stopped going up each month like it did for the first year or two, but hasn't started going down. So I guess its still somewhere near the peak
