The "Welcome Home" saying when you scan your Magic band is a DVC thing. Garden Grill is so fun! Never been for breakfast but I definitely want to try it. The rotation is definitely noticeable but not fast enough that I get dizzy. I agree with James about bacon. Chip & Dale are my favourites - I just LOVE them! Did you get a picture with the Walt statue?! Those cookies are MASSIVE! Disney naps are key (especially at our age LOL). Great idea taking the skyliner during fireworks!
Ahh, that's so cool about the DVC thing! I thought it could be, but I wasn't sure! Yeah, in the end we weren't dizzy at all, I think it was just a little jarring at first. Breakfast was amazing - highly recommend! There's just something about Chip & Dale, and Donald Duck, that get me every time at WDW. They are all very quickly becoming my favourite character interactions! We did get pictures with the statue! I added them to my stories on Instagram for you to see! :) The cookies were huge... we brought a bunch of ziplock baggies and tupperware containers, and ended up bringing them down to our families when we visited for the holidays a few days later haha. We are definitely big fans of the Disney naps! lol. The skyliner was so cool! I didn't get the greatest footage (really hard to focus when there's a days' worth of smudges on the windows lol). The sad part is... because it was such a busy trip, we actually haven't had a chance to see Luminous in the actual park yet! I'm looking forward to that for our next trip! I've always wanted to do Garden Grill. Journey of Water looks so beautiful. The festival of the holidays looks like so much fun! I love snickerdoodle cookies, weird that its not cinnamony lol! I'm not a lemon fan at all so I think i would be disappointed in that lol. The candlelight processional looks so beautiful!
Garden Grill is so fun! We’re thinking about doing it again next trip! Haha the lemon definitely threw off the taste of this cookie 😂😂 Highly recommend the candlelight processional if you ever find yourself at Epcot during the holidays!
I'm so excited for Garden Grill and Journey of Water after watching this! We are pretty inexperienced with character dining and our last attempt (at Goofy's Kitchen) was fairly disappointing. I've never noticed the Welcome Home thing! I wonder if it will work for all of us or just the adults haha. It's kind of a stressful event to get us all through security and through the turnstiles so I wouldn't be surprised if I just wasn't paying attention!
Ohh you’re gonna love garden grill! Hopefully it’ll be better for you than Goofy’s kitchen. Nothing worse than a disappointing character meal :( I’d be curious to know if you hear the welcome home thing when you tap in and who gets it - I can only imagine how stressful it is to get the whole family through those turnstiles though! 😂

It was pretty chilly, especially for Florida! I think it was around the mid 40's Fahrenheit as the low for the day, and would get up to maybe about 60º Fahrenheit during the daytime in the sun.
