I didn’t realize so many people didn’t know about this dish. I wouldn’t recommend trying this at home with Walmart meat, but go to a reputable butcher and everything should be fine. Not a big deal.

Yup, that's how it works, but if you ask for it in a restaurant they might give it to you already premixed. And this is just the French way of preparation (the high amount of veggies). In Czech Republic it's prepared more with spices and condiments like worcestershire sauce and paprika, different types of chilli powder/tabasco. It's then eaten with oil fried sourdough bread/toasted sourdough bread on which you scrub garlic. It's delicious beer food either way and very popular beer culture food here.

@@fabiohidalgomelendez650 más weon hay que ser pa no cachar que no es llegar y usar cualquier carne sin saber su procedencia, nunca te van a vender una carne con parásitos o salmonela, por lo menos acá y además muchas veces si te quieres asegurar simplemente la preparas un poco más. No te enfermas comiendo crudos.
