Trophy Description: Execute and land 2 Heatwave Counters in a single battle.
To obtain the trophy you need to execute and land 2 Heatwave Counters in a single battle.
First you need to learn and equip the Heatwave ability.
Then equip the "Ring of Timely Focus".
Go to the following location which is very close to Martha's Rest.
Keep using Torgal 's Heal ability during combat so that he doesn't kill the enemies.
Walk up to the Bomb enemies and wait for them to attack.
The "Ring of Timely Focus" will slow down time and when it does use the Heatwave ability.
Wait for the next attack and keep using Torgal's Heal ability.

If you're late game, you can also equip a bad weapon so that your counter doesn't demolish the entire pack.

I was able to do it with the same strategy, with Josh and Jill in party
I get the same thing. Jill and Joshua just destroy any mobs I try this on
Literally the LAST trophy I have to get and it WILL NOT POP. I have watched multiple guides and am doing this exactly. This is fucking infuriating.

Sorry I don’t understand. When the enemy attack me do I need to press R1 or the Heatwave Attack? Or both at the same time? Cause I’ve done this plenty of time and the game doesn’t recognise it as Heatwave Counter. This video doesn’t give a clear explanation about this 🤔
When the time slows down, don't press R1. Only use the Heatwave ability.

I didn't mention R1, but maybe I should've mentioned you don't have to press R1.
Do you press R1 first or do you immediately do heatwave?
I can’t recall but I didn’t mention it, so I don’t think so. Just use the ability when the time is slowed down.
@ThomasTrophyTutorials okay yes it's immediate without using R1 first. It wasn't working for me either way because I overlooked the fact that it has to be against a magic attack lol

how your cooldown so fast?
You can equip a necklace that gives you faster cooldowns.
I’m not wearing any items that reduces the cooldown.
The cooldown resets very quickly if you successfully land a counter
