On the teleporting corpses - mods like "The Strip NPCs Uncut" (mod/71503) on Nexusmods have this documented well. To save on performance, Vegas just reuses the same NPCs on multiple locations, moving them around based on where the player is.
Fallout 3 did this. I noticed cause a corpse of a character that narratively shouldn’t of been dead yet (but I killed anyways cause Todd cannot contain me) just teleported at a door and characters talked to as if they were alive. It was hilarious.
I never even noticed it, so I guess I'm part of the devs' ideal target audience. Just like none of the major bugs that people seemed to HATE this game for for the past 10 years have never happened to me somehow
@@BierBart12 no no, when playing the game normally it shouldn't be noticed. You don't look at every random NCR soldier or tourist and compare them between areas. And even when going for the more violent route, by the time looting there would be so many corpses, it falls under the radar.

Though I suppose there aren't boatloads of other High-quality games in this genre that you can work with. otherwise loving how these videos continue to get better my dude.
It’ll be an interesting challenge to tackle next year forsure! Even going outside of Skyrim or FO4 is a challenge in its own right for me UA-cam-wise. I do think there’s plenty to explore in other titles in the future
@@Joov You could try Survival Games like Conan Exiles and limit yourself to one square. I'd watch that. Though thats less on the story side and more on the gameplay side. You could set yourself goals like: Build a house. Get the best armor and so on.

While not that exact glitch, I did have all the corpses I’d just made teleport with me into The Institute once. Teleporting back, the crime scene was empty and rereturning to The Institute, the corpses were gone as well. Pretty weird.

I'd say vegas also includes the west, North, east, and south ruins all count as Vegas. As long as you don't leave any areas labeled as 'Vegas' I'd say it still counts as vegas.
I wish in the Casinos instead of being banned from gambling they just would refuse to let you trade in your chips at a certain point. The gambling games are fun.

funnily enough, i was graced with the presence of the teleporting corpse glitch in Fallout 76 last night. probably a different engine so a different problem entirely, but the crate from a supply drop kept travelling with me everywhere i went even after i emptied it out
What you couldve done to get to the Strip for free was hire Oris (paid by the King). Ignore Oris's warning and run straight to the gate past the thugs. Jump on the cars on the left and parkour onto the ramp forcing the follower to go into the Securitron Danger Zone. Oris has an okay chance of killing a securitron esp with the help of the hired thugs (might hve to run to them so they knw Oris is in danger lmao). Easy xp.

The reason the corpse glitch happens in New Vegas is New Vegas saves memory by unloading and loading in the same NPCs when you change cells.

Oris has an okay chance of killing a securitron esp with the help of the hired thugs (might hve to run to them so they knw Oris is in danger lmao). Easy xp.

@@Joov First time i ever played Fallout and all i wanted to do was to see Vegas. Died a ton hugging walls to get past the Deathclaws near Sloan. Kept dying trying get past the Strip Gate for free lol Scared the whole time until i made it behind safe walls lmao
