This was so much fun. It was so interesting to listen how just the combination of the cords immediately made you think of mariachi. Have you thought of doing a series on music from other countries? Not the pop culture stuff but their traditional or folk music? You have traveled all over the world. It would be fun to learn about other countries music. Thanks for a great year! Looking forward to 2020.
Bernadette! It's been so good catching up! This was so fun and I've had nothing but positive feedback from your followers! I'm so happy I got to share a little bit of mariachi with the world! 🎺🎻🎶🎵
Rob, thank you so much for this lovely comment! And nope, this isn’t the last collaboration with Genaro. Here’s our next: What Are You Doing New Year's? ua-cam.com/video/XGjwuhU8_oM/v-deo.html
This was a great lesson, especially the last song El Cascabel in Joropo - Rhythm. Well done and well sung...Thank you very much and greatings from Germany....
OMGOSH PLEASE KEEP DOING THESE VIDEOS!!! I love Latino culture! I have been wanting to learn some Spanish songs! I didn't even realize you had a Spanish channel! Im so excited!
Thank you! The song was so much fun to learn! Rhythymic playing on a uke is a blast...will you do more like this or maybe some reggae stuff? Great tutorial, thank you both!
I discovered this and love it. I want to learn to play more of this kind of music on ukuleles? Do you do Boleros? Esta music es en mi sangre y me hace acordar me nana catando. Right now I am trying to learn the Cueco rhythm and the Requibto rythm and it is so difficult for a beginner like me with arthritis and neuropathy but I am trying. Now I need to watch this video over and over again. Thank you!
Hi, thanks for the beautiful video. An "old" friendship ist a great thing, so wunderful to see this between you. El cascabel - my next challenge with my uke. With music, difficult times are a little bit lighter. Thank you Bernadette and Gennaro 🤗
Sooo cool..I was so hoping to find a mariachi strum tutorial as my main goal is to master the guitar songs in Once upon a time in Mexico..You are a true mind reader amongst your other rare talents..Thanks sooo mucho..
Wow that was so amazing, Bernadette iam still struggling with the strumming, but sometimes you hear something different an it clucks, i jyst live that sort of music, at the moment iam teaching myself to play Prelude from Cello Suite no1 by JS Bach low G. By way i really enjoyed your sessions through all the lockdown . Cant believe its a year since i brought my first ukeleu , but now have 3. Best wishies Thelma South Wales uk
Great to get a new perspective from a Mariachi player. I love fusion styles and create no boundaries for myself as I play other than my own limited abilities. But OMG how many commercial ads were in that video?
This is awesome and so much fun. I have learnt so much from your 30 day challenge and other sessions. Please keep doing these sessions. I am new to music and was wondering what instrument is your friend playing, he seems to have 5 strings? Thank you, in a crazy world this gives me some sanity.

Love, love Bernardette and your handsome sweet friend .... now that you are doing the strum for rancheras ... Can you please do thevtutorial for DEJA QUE SALGA LA LUNA ??? Please, please ...🥰🙏
that's just sweetness, how flushed his face get's whilst playing with her xx (cute couple!!) Great Overview with Strumming! - loved it!- you both play beautifully!
I don’t get the 3 count waltz. Did you play on count1 or not. Then did you give each count and up and down strum. It is not clear to me. With the chuck it seems as though in the demo you chucked after a down stroke. Here it requires you to chick after an up stroke unless I misunderstood and you are suppose to do the down stroke than chuck all on count 2 and then do the up stroke on ‘and’ then move on to count 3 down up.
Unique Girl will always love you, your music and this time I will post a video for u at New Year working so hard day and night. With love, respect and honour on my channel. I will welcome u Bernadette my angel ♥️😍😇🌠💋
Excellent teacher by the way , both do a nice couple teaching ... best wishes 🤩👍🙏

What chords are you playing at the end for that little flair after showing the joropo technique? The emphasis was wonderful

How difficult is it to get the different fingerings for the chords right when you switch from ukulele to baritone ukulele?
What notes are you playing on bass?

Can we do the base using the regular GCEA uke?

Translate the words to the song. Please driving me nuts thinking what he could be saying about a rattlesnake. LOL
This song is all in metaphors, so I'll ask Genaro to give me some background on the song :)
