    You're a sage! Your teaching style is like an invitation to be consciously present in the moment and tune in to one's own feeling in order to unravel the essential reality of whatever microcosm is the focus of the lesson, while highly analytical and insightful at the same time. I appreciate the depth, breadth and realism. It is very rare to find such lucid educational material in general, so I'm very glad to have found this window into the vast, complex and nuanced reality of guitar playing and flamenco! Not only am I engaged throughout the videos, but they're packed with stuff I take with me to contemplate on later. Exceptional value. Big thanks!

    I used to teach all grades, and found that when I broke things down, with certain words, visuals, and even gestures, for emphasis ; my students could relate better, and learning was fun and successful.Thanks, Adam. I hope you tour Texas again. I live in the Austin area, and definitely would attend your concert.

    The sound of your guitar really is powerful. I can compare it with my Alhambra model 7Fc that has a totally different sound. The secret of playing on guitars like these and yours is that when you are relaxed playing it, the guitar starts taking over your mindset. That's why people can get lost, feeling the burning fire within themselves when they start to play Flamenco like style. Love your work and reminders in this video 👍🏻👍🏻🙏

    I appreciate your wisdom in remaining open minded to the various different ways that different guitarists physically approach the instrument. I too have seen fabulous players who definitely "deliver" with vastly different approaches, some of them rather unorthodox. Rules are sometimes great and other times must be broken.

    Hi adam!! I love your lessons, you are very analyst about everything and you dont leave space for mistakes. I love this. Keep up the amazing job maestro! I also have a question for you because I trust you. During playing at nights I use a silent classical guitar. I am not sure that this guitar helps me to improve my skills. Is guite and I can play with passion but is totally different than a classical guitar with body. So do you thing that I have to stop studying with silent? Ehat is your opinion?

    • @adamdelmonteguitarist
      @adamdelmonteguitarist  2 роки тому +1

      Andreas, you’re right! You shouldn’t practice with the silent guitar because it’s tension is much softer than the regular classic guitar. When you practice (notice I didn’t say -play once in a while) with such a soft guitar your muscles get weaker and you technique begins to falter.

    • @andreasandrias
      @andreasandrias 2 роки тому

      @@adamdelmonteguitarist thank you so much! I bought silent because I have time for practice at nights to do it silently. But I notice that after few months my technique has problems that I didnt have before. playing like begginer (again) :). So new question follows, how can I decrease the volume of the guitar? Do you recommend piece of sponge under the strings in the bridge side? Or any other suggestions to dont bother my family at nights....

    • @adamdelmonteguitarist
      @adamdelmonteguitarist  2 роки тому +1

      The sponge is better than the silent guitar, but still not a huge fan of the sponge either, cos it gives you wrong feedback of sound and it also lightened the tension of the strings in the left hand also giving you false information. it’s tough… try practicing very very quietly (not all the time) but that will help you relax and be more accurate, but at least you’re always in touch with the reality of your instrument.
