I did not bother with bench bleeding and filling the line. If you can get someone to help then it's really easy and fast to get the air out. (bleeder open, clutch down, bleeder close, clutch up...took like 7 minutes total).
I am wondering if I have the wrong size pushrod. The clutch starts taking almost immediately at the very bottom. Both cylinders are taken from of an IS200. Google tells me they came with duall mass and I am with single mass.
Maybe it makes You feel better about the leaky fitting when you read this fun story:
I first got a used line but it is leaking in the flexible part and the nuts are super frozen there so I figured I'll just get a new one and not deal with it(20$ gone). A bit in a hurry I bought the same clutch line 8 days ago since I saw it on your channel earlier. Ordered with express delivery($$$) and received it two days ago. I realized I did not order the extra fitting because I thought the line has all I need. Money wise cant justify ordering the tiny fitting with fast delivery since its many times the price of the item.(65$) It will arrive in maybe 3 weeks - at least I order it from another manufacturer so there is hope it won't leak. 🤔 Maybe I should immediately order the Chasebays or Soarsperformance one or I will drive this car next year.😂👨‍🔧 Good video as always, I'll come watch it again once the slave cylinder has started to leak next month lol.

I had to buy a banjo fitting with use a caliper bolt and washers. It fixed the issue. That fitting I bought was probably 3AN on both ends, when mates with the flare (37 vs 45 degrees) it didn’t seal. amzn.to/3pQHvni

@@TunerwithKids I ended up going to a hose shop and they fitted the correct type(based on the OEM leaking hose that I had) and now it is not leaking. In my case they did not put a banjo type - but there are no extra connectors so less chance of it leaking.

Do you have to use the longer pushrod if you swap a w58 or is it only because you’re using the single mass flywheel?

Single mass FW with W55 bell requires longer pushrod since the FW is thinner.
