    are you using Mothers Wheel cleaner to polish paint? IF yes why not use buffing compound?

    • @SweetScoots
      @SweetScoots  4 місяці тому +2

      This is what we are using amzn.to/3uzQ2Ip It's all we've ever used. Thanks for watching and asking, have a great day Troy. mad Mike

    1 you used a polishing pad for 1 step that's for the last step of polishing use a cutting pad or a more aggressive pad for the 1st step then a polishing pad for buffing the blk pad you were using 1st was for the last step for polishing

    Why not take the bag off the bike?

    • @SweetScoots
      @SweetScoots  10 місяців тому +5

      I mentioned it in the video, I left it on for video purposes it's easier to shoot the process, but you are more than welcome to take the bag off. Thanks again for the view, have a great night. mad Mike

      One other thing, on a small part like that you have a devil of a time holding it still while you work it.

    • @SweetScoots
      @SweetScoots  9 місяців тому

      leaving it on the bike works very well until you have to do the back side of the bag which should actually be done first then if you get any small scratch's on the bag from laying it on the ground you can take them out with the bag remounted to the bike for the remainder of the polishing :)

    Why so much compound?

    • @SweetScoots
      @SweetScoots  5 місяців тому +1

      That's how we do it and have for 25 years, you can use any amount you want to if you think it will work. Thanks for the view. mad Mike
