    Hi Chioma, I came across your vid and thought it was god sent 🥺. I was wondering if the state of thing is still true till this day, both in terms of its strong potential for PR with no work experience requirements and the work opportunities after? I am currently finishing my Masters in the UK, with the future looking dreadful.
    Since I hope to finally settle down and being able to work to support myself, I am afraid by the time I finish the course, too many people will fill the pathway up?
    I understand that you can’t say for certain but I hope to hear from someone in the profession.
    Thanks so much and look forward to your insight ❤.

      Not sure about this. If your occupation is consistent with any of the ACWA occupations for PR, and your qualification is considered relevant to the occupation, then yes, you may stand a chance. Maybe email ACWA for clarification

    • @lifewithchioma
      @lifewithchioma  Рік тому

      They are not the same but are related. Social work is the only qualification that gives you recognition as a social worker and even though some of the areas of practice overlap, Social work has a much wider range of fields of practice than human services.

    Hi, my name is Toritse. I live and work in Abuja, Nigeria. I'm very passionate about helping people.. so I've thinking of quitting my job and going for a master's degree program in Counselling and Psychotherapy..but like MSc. Social Work, I'm not sure if Counselling & Psychotherapy will make room for a variety of visa options /opportunities...Please I also like to know if licensure is required for practicing Counselling in Australia .
    I really hope to hear from you soon🤞
    And just so you know, you are impacting alot of lives positively, more than you can imagine🙂

    • @lifewithchioma
      @lifewithchioma  Рік тому +1

      The requirements you would need to fulfil will depend on the school you are interested in but generally speaking, you may be required meet English language requirements (IELTS band 7). If you are asking whether you can land a full scholarship here, I am unsure about that. You will have to find out directly from the school or check their website for scholarship opportunities.
