If you want a challenge you need to go to lake James in nc there are lots of smallmouth/ mean mouth bass. It’s a tough lake but would love to see how a good angler that has never seen the lake before break it down.
Lake breaks are a great series. Really enjoy seeing if you can hit the goal weight and how you go about your day. I catch myself thinking about what I would do in those situations. Really cool videos.
I really enjoy your fishing videos as you actually show real world struggles as opposed to just showing catching tons of huge bass. Showing what works/doesn't work as well as the thought process behind choices are super helpful. Keep it up!
I really like the format of having screenshots of FFS Live action on your video. It really helps to see how fish react and how bait fish balls can make finding the bass. This is what they eat .so finding the bait doesn't mean they are going to eat. It's still a process of being able to get them to bite. I've learned so much from your channel and pod casts. Keep up the great work, and don't get discouraged when things get tough. It's all good. Thanks Ty
As a NE Ohio angler your content always hits home. Plus I love how you don’t sugar coat your struggles. Helps us understand sometimes the struggle is real. Also, glad to see your feeling better. Heard you on LureLab the other day and how you’re getting over the crud. Tight lines!
I've been fishing for 30 years. I love this channel. I don't use any sort of electronics but i definitely use his techniques to find bass. Sadly I have to find underwater structure the hard way. But he's definitely helped me bag some nice fish
Love that you always show the struggles that come with fishing new water, makes it much more realistic. Have not got a single bite on one of the jackel risers here up north yet and honestly you're the only person I know of that has talked about it at all.
Thanks for always giving us newer guys the tips we need to do better out on the water. I find a lot of guys don't take the time to truly break down their thought process.
I appreciate you showing all the fish you catch. Not just the "good" ones. I think it gives people, espefially newcomers a sigh of relief. For every big bass, there are 50 small ones before it lmao
Been a fan for several years and appreciate the aspects and details you discuss on both channels. Your Finn gear is great quality as well. Keep up the great content.
Love watching your channels, Tyler. You not only provide great bass fishing advice, but you also bring a sense of reality as to what we all go through, just trying to find and land these fish.
This content is awesome! As a guy who just started fishing these lake breaks are so informative and really keeping me pysched to keep heading out!!! thanks so much!
Dope video Tyler as always, the jackall riser is a sneaky little bait that gets it done. I’ve had many days like this and unfortunately I figure it out a little too late. The lake break series is amazing I hope you keep doing more of these. Thanks again for everything you do for us it’s much appreciated.
Really appreciate your educational videos. Learned so much by watching you actually struggle to find new fish and figuring out patterns. I gotta admit, I had to look up a Riser Bait as I have never used that before.
I was really pulling for you brother! I absolutely love your lake videos. Just recently got to make a dream come true and went to Toledo Bend and used some techniques I got from you to catch bass! Thanks for all your hard work that you put into your channel!
Glad to see your back and feeling better. Been waiting on your next video. Looking forward to the next lake break. Tight lines my fellow fishing friend. 🤙🏽🎣
Tyler Always enjoy your videos. Your honesty, skill and hard work are empowering fishermen all over the country. I also love your patriotism with USA made products. Stay blessed and thank you for sharing your talents.
Thanks for all the videos you do I fish out of a kayak so can’t run to a lot of places on the lake I try to maximize the area that I can get to from what you are teaching all of us.
My dad sent me one of your videos after I asked how to use Texas rigs properly. This has been my first year of really devoting time to fishing and I have used your channel to learn so much. Thank you for posting such entertaining and informative content!
It’s always hard finding fish on a new lake, but you definitely pulled it off. I love your videos because you have definitely made me a better fisherman. Much thanks from Northeast Florida. 👍🏻
I love the lake break videos so much. Seeimg the "live scope" not of the fish but of a really good angler's brain. It's fantastic. The initial assessment, in situ problem solving, the improvisation and using discovered information to develop a pattern... just so damn good.
I like watching how you break down new bodies of water. I try and do the same thing even for my local lakes that I fish. They're just so vast I can always fish somewhere new and sometimes it's tough finding the right pattern

Don’t fall into the ffs trap
I learn a lot from watching your videos. It's also entertaining the way you present as well. Thank you
Dude those last few bites were sick! Love the shared FFS screen, really awesome to see those fish come up for it! Love the channel.
Love that you always show the struggles that come with fishing new water, makes it much more realistic. Have not got a single bite on one of the jackel risers here up north yet and honestly you're the only person I know of that has talked about it at all.
Lake break series is my favorite youtube fishing content of all time
This series and both your channels are my absolute favorite to watch, thanks for more great content!
Thanks for always giving us newer guys the tips we need to do better out on the water. I find a lot of guys don't take the time to truly break down their thought process.
I love the lake break series, because every day I fish on my home lake I feel as though I have to break it down again. Every day is a challenge.
I appreciate you showing all the fish you catch. Not just the "good" ones. I think it gives people, espefially newcomers a sigh of relief. For every big bass, there are 50 small ones before it lmao
Thanks for showing how to brake down a lake
