    Being humble and realizing how blessed you are despite the challenges of this year is what separates you from others. Keep setting the example for the up and coming anglers. In the long run you will look back and realize your legacy, and what you have done for the sport of fishing is so much bigger than the fish you have caught and the tournaments you have won throughout your career. Keep grinding brother!!!

    Scott Martin is a GOAT, nobody does more for the sport of fishing. From meeting and taking kids and veterans fishing, detailing how to rig lures, helping design baits and for Googan and Rods with Favorite, fishing BASS, and lets not forget the SMC as well as Team America. I know I have missed many other things such as being a great dad and example of a human being. God Bless you man.

    glad to see in most your vids you don't rely on FFS. Fish the pattern using experience and adjusting to the conditions. Like the fact you are learning FFS, but don't depend on it for all situations. Guys like you and your father, Keven Van Dam, Hank Parker, Bill Dance, Gerald Swindle and Shaw Grisby paid their dues and paved the way for Bassmaster. The new young guys I don't believe could compete without FFS.

    Scott, I wouldn't call you lazy in your methods, but over the years, I have seen you play it SAFE...😂 Big difference, in my opinion. Making the extra "gut feeling" to move, or switch baits is difficult when youre catching fish. You'll be at it a few more years, refine your craft. 😊 Love what ya'll are doing 😊

    Scott you went fishing in those first two tournaments and relied on yourself to catch fish and let the ff sonar to enhance all your knowledge. Then from there you had some not so good tournaments but you were counting on all your technology and not fishing the way you can and i think you need to rely on Scott Martin let all that tech be secondary. I want to see you go back to fishing like only you and Roland can cause you do that and its just one of the most beautiful things to see. You got this

Ya took ya eyes off the prize. No doubt in your mind you're telling yourself that regardless how the season pans out, you won an event and you've got a Classic berth. That was always in your mind and made ya not feel as hungry as those who haven't eaten yet. Bon Apetite!🍽

    • @warofwrath
      @warofwrath 4 місяці тому

      That's normal lol. It's because most baitcasting before BFS was powerfishing, cast abd wind the technique is mostly with the real therefore your dominant hand
      .spun fishing is mire finesse technique is imparted through the rod, so you hold the rod with the dominant hand. Fir some techniques though frogging and top water, I like to use a left handed bait caster too.

    Just another reason why FFS is a joke. All your knowledge, years of experience and instincts go out the window because of a FFS minnow. There's absolutely no reason why FFS should be allowed in professional fishing. Recreationally? Sure. It's a severe detriment and will be looked back on as a huge mistake. Weights should fluctuate at tournaments and the cream should rise to the top, naturally. That's sport and that's competition.
