My 35 year old son passed away suddenly April 2020. It has left a deep empty space in my heart. When I miss him..I listen to this song. He looked a lot like Micah, so it makes me smile. Mostly I’m blessed by the words, because there never was a moment He didn’t hold me in His arms. Thank you for this song. ❤️

@Eva Rynearson Hi, what can you say about it? Given the fact that Micah Tyler, who wrote and sang this Christian song is an American, I think the lyrics should have been free from grammatical lapses. English is not my native language. And I'm not fluent in English.
Someone commented this in English stack exchange:
"Song lyrics will ignore the rules of standard grammar and should never be used as a guide. The songwriter may pick a non-standard form so that it matches the rhythm of the song better, so that it rhymes better, because it is more evocative of a place or time, because it is in or emulating a dialect, to be provocative or rebellious, and so on. I hated myself and felt so worthless. I knew God still loved me, but I couldn't feel it. This song saved my life.
I was not going to hurt myself, for my childs sake. However I was a dead man walking. Full of pain and doubt. It helped me through those days.

Although we lost him to alcoholism I know that God had him in the palm of his hands throughout the entire battle with his horrible disease. I fell apart and the grace of God put me back together piece by piece. And now... your song "Different" is how i start my yoga practice each morning or when I need a reminder that God is changing me through all of this. I am going to give back and dedicate my time to kids that are headed down the wrong path or struggling with addiction. Thank you for your blessing me with your gift.
