I had the chance to meet Micah when he sang at my church in Monroe, NC. After the concert, I went back stage and told him that my brother Daniel, also had Stage 4 Cancer. He prayed, we prayed. 1 year later my brother Daniel, like his brother Daniel is CANCER FREE! AMEN! Even if it did not turn out this way, I know that I have a Merciful, Awesome GOD, and all things work out to HIS Glory!

Idk if you’ll see this or not but I just want you to know that this song started me journey of rededicating my life to Christ. Life seemed like it was crumbling around me and this song changed my perspective. I’m singing this song in church Sunday hoping that it’ll speak to someone the way it spoke to me. Again. For the past 15 years I’ve been addicted to pornography. I was stuck in the same pattern for the longest time, thinking it was normal and not wanting to break free from it. I committed my life to Christ on October 29 of this year, and I haven’t looked at pornography since. It’s been a tough battle, but I know Jesus loves me more than I love my addiction, and that being different for Him is well worth the fight. Thank you Jesus for setting me free.

I was diagnosed with AML leukemia on Dec 21 2008. I was 32 with a husband and 4 children. Instead of worrying I fought without doubt of survival. Even when I was in a coma I continued to fight for my life. This was different for me. I’m the type of person who expects the bad so that when it doesn’t happen it’s a good thing. So that when bad does happen it doesn’t shake me. But while fighting through a aggressive cancer I learned to be different. Jesus healed me. And for the last 12 years I feel every breath a blessing and gift. I hope that all know each day we are a live is a gift and to appreciate it all. Thank you for this beautiful song. This song has been on my heart for 3 years now. My Dad ended up with cancer spreading for the fourth time. He was not always a good man. Yet I kept crying out to the lord to help make me different.
After my dad told me his cancer had come back, I was able to embrace him and tell him that I forgave him . The man I feared and was so scared of. I was given the strength to grab him and tell him I forgive him. Now me and my dad have conversations about gods love!!!!!!!! Thank you father in heaven for songs like this, that give glory to you !!!!!
If you’re hurting and feel all alone, just know he has never never left your side! If you’re anything like me, it was me who left him. Thankfully god is merciful and gives grace abundantly.

Would love to talk to you if you ever need to. My son is 8 yrs old and has autism. It's so hard but we try to be understanding with him, spanking him only makes him much more angry, and aggressive amd if I hit to him its ok to hit. Our 5 yr old is typical and I pop his bottom but it's a whole different situation. Praying over u now and your healing. If u can find some others like u, the enemy wants us all to think we are the only ones ever goung thru whatever we are but that's a lie, there are a group of ppl hurting like you and although their story may be a lil different than yours they ate hurting and need lifted up to get thru and past their hurt from past also. I found a whole village of ppl with autism who have helped us with our son and understanding him. His heart is gold, he absolutely adores babies, and loves cats and kittens and likes dogs.
curbow81 Try thinking the opposite. Instead of hitting use the "kill with kindness" autistic people are very affectionate. They usually love the hugs and love from another person. When you hit, it makes him scared which causes self defense. Instead of hitting take away his belongings for a period of time until he realizes what he has done wrong. But don't have an angry tone while correcting him either, it would cause a reverse reaction back at you. This is also due to being scared and confused. Sometimes autistic people don't realize what they are doing wrong and yelling and hitting terrifies them. When you have a nice calm voice while correcting him, he will more likely respond positive. I'm aspie too but never found out until this year. I'm 24. All my life people thought I was just weird, or mean, or a disobedient brat.... I've always been misunderstood. Sometimes I think the only good thing about being autistic, is my big heart, full of forgiveness, and the fact that I've always been naive so i give people chance after chance and try to help people who need a friend or help.... but the social and communication skills are the worst.... I'm not good with people. So I've "masked" my entire life and thought if i tried hard enough, I could be like everyone else and fit in..... I could be different.... but now I know I will never understand sarcasm.... I'll never understand why people lie with their words or body language. I'll never understand why it's bad to be honest or "blunt." And I'll always have special interests, and struggle with executive functioning skills in daily life.
I think God made people with autism to teach typical people how to be more compassionate, understanding, and look at things from new perspectives.... we really are special, and part of His plan. Sometimes, I think maybe Jesus was Aspie because he was always misunderstood and they eventually killed him for speaking the truth in love and kindness....

I felt the same way when I found out my brother had no signs of cancer but went to the doctor and they told him he had stage four pancreatic cancer. He was the patriarch of my family. It was hard to understand, but I know that God knows what he’s doing. My brother passed away four months later, but I will not lose my faith Because I know my brother is with the Lord and I’ll see them both one day!

My sister had stage 4 cancer. They gave her 2 weeks to live, she has been here 15 years. She lost her husband and daughter. The strongest person that I know. God and being a positive person has brought her through. Heavy chemo has caused her poor health but she is still here. Thank God, he left my sister with me.

Michah, I can relate to your trials and how you feel. In August 2014, I found my father dead in his home (already passed away for 2 weeks), then 6 months later I lost my favorite job I always wanted; then 1 month later, I found out my husband cheated on me, where 15 years of marriage fell to the ground with him walking away; Next we had my mother with Schizophrenia over dose on her meds, thus leaving a very broken me to take care of her for a year to follow. Before all this, I was very strong in the Lord. However, I felt I could not hear him or see him in this season of my life, so I fell into depression feeling abandoned and lost with overwelming grief. Today, because of His Great love and mercy, I stand on two feet changed and tranformed into something NEW, because Jesus taught me through these trials, that He never left me or abandon me, and now I have a new found faith because of Him. I can only pray that God would move on your family's behalf in a mighty way. Thank you for serving in the Arming of the Lord

Joel I lost my dad 2 years ago to cancer. For 12 months he suffered with this cancer, and in my entire life I don't remember my father having a relationship with Jesus. Before he was diagnosed, was a time that I finally got him to start going to church with me. He was checking out Jesus, and then the cancer hit. It was stage 4 before he had any symptoms. The doctors told him he had 12 months and that it was not curable. He stepped away from church when the cancer made him too weak to function most of the time, well at least from my church. He started going to a church closer to home with my little brother. He eventually gave into Jesus and turned his life over to Him. From that day on he worked on his relationship with Jesus, until about 4 months later. Then he passed almost exactly 12 months after the doctors found the cancer. The point is don't give up. I never would have guessed that it would take my father suffering through 12 months of cancer, to give up his life to Christ, but Christ did. He has a plan for your mom, and you are there to plant that seed. Plant the seed and water it. God will do the growing. 1st Corinthians 3:7 says "So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth." Remember that God is the one that will grow your mom. You just be there watering that seed by following Him.

Be ye not deceived nor do not end up misreading the gospel. I received an agreement to use someone's comment that i find useful to use as an example of how people misread the gospel. If one read the bible like that - then one misreads the gospel. This is the comment i was allowed to use: Hello there! I appreciate your input from the perspective you come. There are a few things I'd like to run by you, that may clear up some misunderstandings. First, if I understand you correctly, you are saying that sex and gender are the same thing, and that because God says no one has ever hated their own flesh, the reason for people who claim they are transgender hate the bodies they are in is because they have been deceived by outside forces. If I have understood you properly (and please correct me if I have not), I have these points: By definition, gender and sex are not the same thing. Gender as we currently have it defined in the dictionary is a bit confusing because of how broad it is, but the difference is still major between the words "sex" and "gender". The vast majority of people who actually benefit from transitioning- what most people call transgender- do not actually believe that they are changing their sex, or their gender; they're simply aligning themselves with what they feel is the best outward expression of themselves. They're all born with this particular set of characteristics, of which some are refined or influenced in context of culture or social norms, but not dictated by them. Those who are fooled by society are not experiencing the medical version of transgenderism, so while you may be talking about people who ultimately end up detransitioning because yes, they were fooled, you are not talking about those who were born with the feeling of discrepancy within their body. The Bible forbids man to exalt himself in this way ("Thou shalt have no other Gods before me"), and makes achieving that status in that way impossible to all but hermaphrodites, to which he then also calls them unworthy of being Priests, Leviticus 21:16-23, "For the generations to come none of your descendants who has a defect may come near to offer the food of his God. No man who has any defect may come near: no man who is blind or lame, disfigured or deformed; no man with a crippled foot or hand, or who is a hunchback or a dwarf, or who has any eye defect, or who has festering or running sores or damaged testicles." This creates a very specific hierarchy which discludes the vast majority of people from being worthy as God's chosen people, lowering many to a status less than desirable, stripping away their percieved power. That doesn't sound very loving or inspiring for improvement, does it? And if you were to say that Leviticus is part of the Old Testament and no longer in the new Christian teachings, and therefore irrelevant, who decided that they were worthy to edit the word of God, exactly? Especially since according to the Bible, none of us are Gods. While the Ephesians quote you gave me says that "no man ever yet hated his own flesh", and instructs us to love ourselves, in the New Testament we have Luke 14:26 which says "If anyone comes to me without hating his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, *and even his own life*, he can not be my disciple." It's a precondition to coming to the Lord to hate yourself, seemingly, and to find salvation by accepting Him only. Seems a bit like railroading to me. Why not find comfort in being able simply just to love yourself, without needing to outsource the work to an omnipotent being to do that for you? It seems to me that the danger in giving someone that permission is that perhaps they will use this God-like feeling to do "evil" things, but evil things are often done in the name of God anyway; humans will choose to do what they will, and justify it in the name of whatever they please. Removing self-empowerment is as poor an answer to curbing "evil" as allowing someone of poor conscience to act as they please with no consequence. Those who feel powerless can and often feel motivated to action by resentment and oppression to get justice. That's what victimhood mentality produces, too. Perhaps on the theoretical judgement day, when all is restored as you say, people will stand in front of God as he created them in his likeness: as a being that is both male and female, instead of either or, and we will realize that we are all God.

And to love GOD 1st - He give us our existence. He created us in spirit 1st - then give us a body (carnal for now but spiritual later). Why shouldn`t i love GOD 1st and not my parents? - For i`m GOD`S creation and not my parents (earthly parents). - GOD is the Father of the whole mankind. Micah Tyler, the Lord has faithfully walked me through a 30 year battle with an illness that doctors couldn't identify. I was labeled a hypochondriac by some and even my family was caused to believe it was in my head. However my God, your God was with me and in 2010 the disease that was taking my life was identified and cured. Through the entire ordeal I kept hearing the Lord ask me, "Steve will you trust me"? My answer was "yes Lord". I wish I could tell you the whole story but it would be too much here. There were so many miracles but the greatest has been the changes in me and my family, friends and many I have met along the way. Our God will finish what He has started in you and your family and yes He is asking you, "Micah, will you trust me"? I know that you will my brother because He is the living God and He is with you. Oh Holy Spirit make yourself known more and more to Micah and his family and fill them more and more with your love and bring these healing's your way, you time for your glory and their good, amen...

Praise the Lord!! Many times having our loved ones die, is a test of our love for Christ. My sister died in 2012, my dad died in 1992,
And my gentle sweet mother died in 2017...I had always lived with her, she was my best friend. I had to watch her suffer thru 4 yrs of Alzheimer's and cancer. I had no support group. My mother broke her hip, and when that happened her Alzheimer's just esculated.I almost had 2 nervous breakdown. Jesus sent me a Holy Angel in human form as a hospital cleaning lady. She came to me, and I knew she was from God. She only said that" God would give me the strength to go thru it.".and hugged me. I said," I don't want to go thru anymore, I want my mother to be healed by Jesus ",...and she never said she would pray for me, or my mother, or mentioned a Church praying for us.After I said "I wanted my mom healed by Jesus " the woman said,"and only He can do it, and only He can do it" She repeated that twice. I was so upset, I went to my car and cried. And now, my mom is not here anymore. I do love Jesus so very very much. This life isn't easy. Praise the Lord, please tarry not dear Lord Jesus. The hell here on earth can be hell indeed. Love, and blessings.

I can definitely can relate my son had key word HAD cancer The only thing i said was, "GOD I TRUST YOU" my heart hurting i would cry but i still trusted in my pain i didn't deny my human feelings. I prayed for every person that would allow me too, for the five months my son was in the hospital. Then one day God moved in our life "No more Cancer". Lets move the Spirit Of Fear out of our lives so God can move. The adversary wants us to hold on to every negative emotion that can allow the door of sickness, disease, addiction and infirmity to grip us, but we will walk in freedom in YESHUAS mighty name. Let us go back in our bloodline and deal with the sins of our forefathers that's causing the war in our bloodline to betray us. The Fear, envy, racism, hatred the list is long but when we speak to the sin in our bloodline the Blood of Yeshua can deal with the root that has been holding his children captive since the fall. To every person dealing with tragedy there is hope. I will be Praying for our sick we have to remember there is a root to the sickness prayer warriors lets do our job for those who do not have the strength.

hi i believe god is amazing and shows us different ways different solutions to problems we may face. i prayed and prayed so hard because i had really bad inflamation amd nerve damage from my birth. i was healed when god showed me his will of healing me not through supernatural means but through natural means but of course all healing and glory comes and goes to god. :) he showed me a way to heal and showed me the foods that were harming me.

Wow... just wow. I'm tough as nails, and i just witnessed my 1st born, my daughter's birth as of several hours ago. I can honestly say i have lost my way, i have strayed from his grace, it took this moment to realize where i was in my life. That moment when our doctor was playing this in the background as the final moments she was delivered and i was so weak in my knees as i literally melted, i literally folded. Held her in my arms and felt spiritually renewed as that very moment i prayed and told the lord "I'm so sorry, that i lost my way and am so blessed, thank you". I balled... The lord is real and was calling me back to the correct change i needed in my life as i wasn't living how a christian should. Thank you Micah... thank you for this song. Love you brother.

I’m 11 years old and my mom is a youth pastor there are camps she takes the youth too every summer so we went to Colorado a few months ago I wasn’t supposed to go cause I was to younge but a teenager ended up not going so my mom let me go cause there was a spot I could take and that moment I knew my life was probably going to change at this camp it took 14 hours to get there 2 days but when we got there it was late but there was like a concert going on when we got there worship music and preaching it was so late we were all tired but I had a good time so the next day our preacher was Drew worshom he was for the whole week the next day when it was time to pray I asked for forgiveness but I was to nervous to tell anyone what I did so the next morning we my two friends and I were talking after we had studied for our lesson so I talked to them and they said I need to talk to my mom but I just didn’t I was so nervous but I knew that was what God wanted me to do so when the preacher was preaching last minute he said if you are ready to give your life to Jesus Christ do it now he counted down to 3 and said if you need too please stand he said yeah your going to be nervous but God is more important so he counted and I stood in tears of brokenness I knew I was so broken down I walked to my mom gave her a big hug and my friend and her brother also got saved and me and my friend were both crying so hard and my mom took us to a little corner and we prayed and prayed and prayed and me my friend and her brother gave our life to Jesus that night and 2 or 3 weeks later we got baptized and some other kids did two including my big brother we all got saved most of the youth got saved and it was the best day of my life
I promise you if you know god is calling to be in your heart let him in because one day Jesus will return it could happen any time any where even when you least expect it so I suggest you give your life to Jesus so you don’t get left behind

This song helped me through some tough times. Even though at the time of this comment this song was 6 years ago, it was a blessing. My grandmas died in 2020 and my grandpa passed away in 2021 and my other grandpa along with my uncle died in 2022. This song helped so much and the quote:”sometimes the best question isn’t asking God to change the things around you, but to change you so that you can handle the things that he is walking you through.”. My uncle got saved right before he passed away from a heart attack pulled over on the side of the road. His kids/my cousins were in the car when this happened. This is so unexpected but God has a plan. The Bible says to rejoice when a brother in Christ has died because he is in heaven praising the LORD forever and ever and you will be too.
I am 13 years old now and it is the beginning of 2024. I hope and pray this song encourages people and helps them in time of need and love.

i am 16 years old and my grandma has lung and breast cancer, stage 4, we moved to be closer with her and this week is the hardest and probably the last week with her. it's so hard with seeing her lose hair on her own, they couldn't give her treatment long because it wasn't doing anything. dealing with someone especially a family member with cancer is so very hard and i am so sorry this is happening to you and anyone else that it is happening to, its horrible and its been so very hard but she still has a great heart but today she couldnt really remember who we were, shes only 65, so its very hard, thank you for writing and singing and sharing this song because it gives me so much hope and faith thank you for sharing your love for god

One thing my pastor has been preaching thus far is character in suffering. man, this song hit me deep recently and I'm literally just realizing that Micah Tyler uses the same chords I learned when I was first learning guitar... it started a beautiful thing for me, writing and recording my own music ( playing guitar did ) and opened up a new and amazing God-given talent.. writing out just anything and everything I know in my mind... Hello forever family I want to let you know how GOD using your testimony about this song in my life the past couple weeks. Sunday we lost our uncle through illness and Monday morning we got a call my nephew is in comma at the hospital and on Wednesday doctor declared him deceased. At 21 year-old it felt like a gorilla sitting directly on my chest I was feeling suffocating I went through hate, anger and pain then through all of this I could hear Micah Tyler then I pulled youtube today and listen to that song it broke me hard then got on my knees finally after 2 weeks all I could find in my heart to say "LORD YOUR will be done not mine" so I want to thank you for being obedient to write that song all along GOD was going to use it to help me grieving.
