Thanks for the scenery. My parents used to go work the fields back 83 and 84 when I was 11 &12 nice memories. There used to be a grocery store passed a bridge that was in a trailer park near that store. It was in a down slope neighborhood.
I hate trying to look up stuff for Torrington, CT and finding this one lol. Howdy name neighbors
That was really neat thank you I like seeing the older buildings
Roll up your car window!
Edward Norton Next time I will!
Hasn't changed much since I first saw it back in the early 60s.
I sure like it there!
Thanks my mom was born there and I'm 63 and never have seen it.
I hope you get a chance to see it - I'm just a year younger than you but have always made a point of visiting small town as I love 'em so much after having had to live in places like Denver and Los Angeles...
Thanks again great little video.
You're welcome!
You're welcome!
Yup... that’s pretty much Torrington as I remember it. Ya didn’t show us any residential areas through.
Growin’ up when our family would take a vacation we give lots of towns the “breath test” as we called it. If we could hold our breath from the City Limit sign on one side town to the other City Limit sign on the other side of town, and our Dad didn’t drive faster than the posted speed limit, we’d call it a genuine certified “Small Town”. Torrington is bigger than that. (Driving on the Interstate highways didn’t count.)
Wow, I love the breath test!! Sorry there's no residential area in this one - it'll happen next time...
Is Taco John still open in Torrington Wy.
Ya
It’s changed a little bit since I lived there but not much
It's a nice town!
damn wind
I agree!
I live here and the wind gets worse
"A Drive Through Town?" What? Sorry to let you down, but the recording "started" on U.S. 26 East bound then turned South on U.S. 85, and what did you show us on your "drive through" the town? Let me guess... nothing! I live 30 miles away just over the Nebraska state line and there has got to be, somewhere out there better video produced of Torrington than this, and whats up with the audio? That's poor production my friend, just sayin'...
Yes, my camera and audio aren't very good in this one...
Duane Watts what do you gain from being so negative my man
Duane Watts- you do t have to be so rude. I think the video was nice.
If you're not gonna have any voice-over narration on your video, at least kill the audio either during recording or during your upload. We don't need to know what wind sounds like blowing past a microphone. On the up side, you'll save your microphone and associated elecronics from damage if you unplug it from your camera. If this is on a cell phone...just put a small piece of painters tape over the mic. If I really wanted to post something like this, I'd seriously think about adding a light music background and a voice over story to go with it. Otherwise...what good is it? We don't know where you started or where you ended. We don't know the street you're on or what you pass by. You also might consider re-titling your video. "A drive through town" sounds insulting. Perhaps: "Driving through Torrington WY." might be a better title.
Don’t film while driving that’s dangerous
You're correct!
