My Friends are playing Rebellion on Saturday, Ghost Dance & New Model Army too, both from my home city, Bradford. Compass cafe bar is a brilliant little venue.
The sea looks absolutely fantastic Stephen, a little bit wild, just how I like it. I really love the Feldman's building, it has such a beautiful facade. Looked like there was a great atmosphere again.If the fountain had been turned on, we would have had to get the swear jar out 🤣🤣 Love the thumbnail. xxx

Last time I was in Blackpool was about 6-7 years ago to see The Levellers at the winter gardens, I drove up from Liverpool in torrential rain and high winds, we got to Blackpool, parked the car and got drenched before I'd got 10 yards, never known rain like it, we all met up in the pub near the venue, ran like hell so as to not get any wetter than we already were, got in the venue, dried off a bit and then nobody told me about that bloody dancefloor, I felt seasick after 5 minutes of dancing about, that was the strangest sensation EVER btw, for those that don't know, The Winter Gardens has a sprung dancefloor which bounces you about, it's a strange sensation until you get used to it, superb venue though, one of my all time faves ;)

I should point out The Crypt has moved upstairs over Scream & Shake. And as an aside, maybe you should do a video with the Rumkicks - showing some South Korean punks around Blackpool would, if nothing else, make for interesting viewing.
You need to track down the architect ( I type that loosely) who was responsible for those things in Birley St. just that you can do it, doesn't mean you should do it, springs to mind. Lol / tears ...
I can't say I'm surprised there's less people there this year than last because there was a lot complaining about only been able to get E-tickets for this year's.
I understand that such behaviour is no longer welcomed and that you have to pay a fixed charge as soon as you walk through the entrance, regardless of whehter you go on any rides. It is unlikely to be cheap!
Always do jane, seems to be a bit of a myth this. Street cleaners do a great job every day. Just the trippers that cause any mess then go home and call the town dirty.
It is August but the town is embarassingly quiet for what used to be the UK's premier seaside resort. The weather hasn't helped a great deal either. Less people and less rubbish.
Hi Julie, yeah there are two calendars coming out for 2024. There will be A Walk On The Wild Side calendar, and also a Starman Astro calendar. The photographs for each of them are absolutely gorgeous. 😊
I lived in Kings Lynn in the UK and there was an elderly guy who would be apparently busking, he had a broken guitar with no strings on it and he would stand there making strumming motions pretending to play it, as well as making out he was singing, but he would be whispering or muttering, and people would give him money which I didn't understand at all, I was like wtf is this guy actually doing? Then one day someone walking past said "you can't sing mate" and no joke this elderly "busker" went berserk and started smashing his guitar against the wall and yelling at this bloke! I thought yep that's the reason people give him money lol. People left him alone after that and he just became part of the furniture. I just think people pity him. I always found him hilarious to look at. Funny bloke! Edit: I can see you mean Joe Biden, just thought I'd share that lol

Just got back from sunny Blackpool earlier ,had a banging day apart from a seagull snatching my cheeseburger out of my hand on the prom
Omg, same thing happened to me. It was one of Chris's burgers too which made it all more worse as they're delicious
