Those streets looked quite facinating it reminded me of central birkenhead near the park or tranmere i think its how you live and its how you keep yourself to yourself there are most probably people who see riffraff but the riffraff doesnt bother them once you close your door your in your own nest but those beers are cheap 2.79 for a carling lol carling here on the wirral is 3.49p per pint and a neckoil is 5.70p per pint its a great pub if the beers are that reasonable its suprising that a holiday town has a pub like that seen as its a holiday makers town to be honest id live in blackpool its acctually not that bad at night well it looks quiet thanx stephen for another fab upload 👍😊✋💯♥️

Lived at 67 Sherbourne Road in 1983. It was a house made in to 3 flats. My friend and I shared the 1 bed flat which was the whole of the ground floor. We both worked at the Savoy, I was a receptionist and she was a trainee manager. Happy memories ❤

I've lived in Blackpool 82 of my 86 years and I have never felt threatened. In fact compared with a lot of places in the UK Blackpool is extremely safe. That is why we get so many visitors and holiday makers. To me truthful Blackpool is the tops.

Hi Stephen, If you go to the loo downstairs in the Wetherspoons Albert and the Lion, halfway down the staircase, there's a few photo's and text in a frame describing Blackpool's Jaguar Car Company. So when you need to use the loo after your Pint have a look lol. Cheers !

I once stayed at a little b&b in blackers called 'The Tulip' absolutely lovely polish couple who owned it. Made us some sandwiches for our journey home!

My Nan used to live in Lewtas St some 60 yrs ago. I spent many a summer holiday with my Nan and Grandad. Thankyou so much for brining back great memories

Hi Stephen, Thanks for another great vlog. We have had pizza from Fireaway Pizza when we're were in Blackpool for the illuminations switch on last year. The pizzas were amazing & the guy who has the franchise was also telling us that he has the flats above it, and showed us photos of how he turned them into very nice air b & bs. Not sure if he still owns them now, but he was trying to buy the whole block, including the convenience shops (some useless information for you 😂). We are down from Glasgow to Blackpool next weekend, so may see you out and about. I am looking forward to buying our calendar for next year from Happy dayz next Friday. Thanks again 😊

I dont know why .... But my earlier post has been removed 🤔 i dont know why ....it was just a compliment about the Jaguar history and Bank street car park. It has been re surfaced since we were there in 2013 it cost £2.00 all day i was amazed at the price. We parked there and walked into town. 👍😎👍🏴🏴🏴
I reckon quite a few of those houses at the back of the station were hotels once but those away from the front have gained other uses! Must admit, I never knew Blackpool had a High Street!

How bad must be where you live to go holiday to Blackpool. It's all the deprivation, crime and squalor of an inner city combined with the lack of services and lack of opportunities of a small town. Grim, mean and bleak.
