Good wee video and you did not blank which is a bonus to start with and you got a last one before calling it a day well done tight lines till the next one
cheers for taking us with you cal ..shame you run out of worm they may have been coming onto the bite ..but 2 bass not bad and signs the guilts are there mate we maybe looking at a guilty catch and cook soon lmao.. keep well and stay safe
Good session, and great to get out and catch, totally agree about digging lug, is far easier than digging for rag, they really make you earn them, but worth it as great bait tight line's 🎣🐟🐟👍👍
Great video Cal, tons of information and a good catch. A couple of questions if its ok, what weight leads are you using and what breaking strain leader and brand? Cheers.
Thanks👍🏼 At the moment I’m not using a leader on either rod. Just 30lb main line straight through. I used a 5oz grip lead on one rod and a 4oz grip lead on the other.
@@hookedonbasscornwall No we don’t tend to get ling anywhere from the shore. You can catch them from boats, but it’ll be right out in the channel somewhere. I’m sure they’d have been caught from the shore in the past but that would’ve been a long time ago.
@@FISHINGWITHCAL baggy point in north Devon holds the biggest ling landed by shore - great work btw dude 100. Would you ever consider bass lure tuition in late may June? On the island of course
@@FISHINGWITHCAL What I like about your video is the simplicity of it all. You go out, catch your own bait, rig up and catch fish. That's grass roots fishing.
Great video thanks for sharing
I fish for largemouth in America and it's always refreshing to see other kinds of fishing
Nice to see fish even if school Bass but for you more school leavers and as for weather most be dedication 👍😁

Yes we get a lot of bream over here. I’ve not fished for them in a while but they’re good fun to target.
Is that the sonik sks reel mate?? Any good??
Yeah it is. I bought it to use temporarily because my other reel needing fixing. It was cheap, about 30 odd quid. So far so good though.

Glad I took my barbs off and crushed them
Favorite bait of all time?
You can catch pretty much anything on ragworm so as an all rounder I’d probably say that.
