What an intelligent and classy lady! Beautiful, hillarious, insightful… Wishing so much success to continue coming to her❤️
She should have won the Oscar.
Exactly!!!! "Extra excellent!"
She was cute in "Joy Ride"
Love her! I knew she was going to be huge when I saw her on Awkwafinas show.
The episode is called Grandma and chill and her character is absolutely hilarious.
She steals every scene!!
I just binged Nora From Queens last weekend and screamed when I saw "Shu Shu"😂😂😂 And now I'm obsessed with Lori Tan Chinn as well
Interestingly that's also the episode that was directed by the Daniels. You can also say that was where Stephanie was "discovered" since that was where they offered the role to her when Awkwafina had to drop out of EEAAO due to scheduling conflict.
"Why don't you go into business instead?" Typical Asian parents' response.
I love her brilliance!💛👏🏽
She's such a good actress and will continue to support her work.
She's wonderful Viola Davis level wonderful
We love Asian representation in Hollywood! It’s long overdue. Anna May Wong is smiling for sure!
I love her advice "find your community and people you love work with". It make sense becasue it will eventually lead to success anywya.
Love her! Great actress!!
Incredible actress and such a cool person. I see even bigger things for her future career despite what she’s already achieved in such a relatively short time period!
I love her bravery and became an actor despite discouragement from her family and the uphill battle of being an Asian-American in Hollywood.
She’s super talented. Can’t wait to see the movie!
Wow, guy didn’t bother to watch the segment enoigh to know it wasn’t her “parents” who wanted to her to go into business, but her single-parent mother. Way to go.
For 6 months, I have been posting Steph is Hollywood's "It Girl"; only the most phenomenally talented actress earns an
Oscar nod with their debut film.(Watch out Cate) In many ways, she is inheriting her cinematic mother, Michelle's legacy -
fearlessly confronting the status quo in old + tired Hollywood.
Totally identify with he feelings RE gardening; it is the BEST decompression therapy. (also cooking, for me.)
Looooooved this movie it was so funny and she was amazing
It’s amazing how many Asian reporters CBS has I don’t know about until they have to interview an Asian person
I know, right?
I cant wait to see her movie here in the philippines.❤
She's frickin awesome. Joy Ride looks terrific.
it's damn funny and surprisingly poignant.
The Asian connection is immediately found by the reporter asked her about her career choice lol
I LOVE HER SHE DESERVES EVERYTHING
everywhere all at once
She stole my heart in EEAAO. Can’t wait to see this new project
❤ Love to see her more!
Can’t wait to watch ❤
I agree. It is the people you are working with who will sustain you and fortify your spirit.

Such a lovely lady. 😊
Academy Award-Nominee!!!
Joyride is absolutely hilarious! She’s talented and strikingly beautiful. Oh, and she got robbed of an Oscar (no disrespect to Jamie Lee Curtis).
I studied business but then became a filmmaker.
great immigrant story, know many good Taiwanese Americans!
Such a cool girl.
I love her performance in Everything, Everywhere, All at Once. Not to take anything from Jamie Lee Curtis, but I really wanted her to win the Oscar. I have no doubt she will win one in the near future.
"we were just four butts and four jokes" lol!
Congratulations 🎊 👏 to you my dear Stephanie.
Looks like the emily in paris woman
Joy ride was insane... And insanely awesome... But also insane
U guys’ comments make this interview pointless
I always find these interviews almost insulting and a bit humorous, I say this only because you have an interview with an asian actor , send in the asian interviewer, you have a black actor send in the black intervewer!!!!!!!!!! its laughable to me for some reason as if a white interviewer or some other interviewer that isn't asian won't be able to comprehend the secret code or something because they're not asian LMAO
The real deal
People are people, so why should it be? You and I should get along so awfully - Depeche Mode
❤❤❤
whos fhe reporter interviewing her
Unspoken token
Nancy Chen
@@eddierascalhaskell4954Damn that's harsh
@@Agent.Wadsworth Okay.
Imma watch it
So damn talented. And utterly adorable. And smart. Thanks to the interviewer for using the good 'old-fashioned' word "Actress." I like that word. In the current world where people are cancelled for using 'improper' pronouns or no pronouns or what have you, I find it odd that, since gender is the topic of the moment and everyone wants to assign themselves and others to a certain category, that we would disparage a perfectly good word for assigning a gender to an acting category. I refuse to call a woman officer 'sir' or refer to my mail carrier who is a woman as a 'mailman.'
I just love utters.😍
It's the _Screen Actors Guild_ , not the "Screen Actors and Actresses Guild".
@@RaymondHng This was partially because all the founding members and presidents were men until around the 60s or 70s. I don't think women were initially allowed in until way after it started.
@@Pou1gie1 Women have been allowed in the Screen Actors Guild since its inception in 1933.
_Sir_ and _mailman_ are not gender-neutral terms. _Law enforcement officer_ , _fire fighter_ , _mail carrier_ , _congress member_ , _flight attendant_ , _physician_ , _spouse_ , _director_ , and _actor_ are gender-neutral terms.
The Korean directors are genus especially with their Zombie movies brilliant also movies like these. Their even better than the American movies just saying.
😂 yeah right
ok but ... the best day ever? lol
She has a passion and love for smoking too.😊
Asian community... yeah right
This will flop.
Jackie Chan would like a word
He's from Hongkong though. Technically not American actor.
Great . KENNEDY 2024 .
Never heard of her...
And whos her whyte boyfriend?
she stopped hitting those burgers
As an Asian, is it okay if I say she's really boring? I'm more interesting than her. And I'm boring.
Jealousy makes one interesting?
Imagine being so basic you feel inclined to compare yourself to an Oscar nominated actress for no other reason than being the same race as her. “As an Asian” like that adds legitimacy to your statement. LOL
Most actors are boring. They need to be someone else to be entertaining.
@@anastasiabeaverhausen8220 hmmmm, interesting
What makes you interesting?
She's trying too hard.
And some are just 'trying.'
How exactly?
weakest link in that film. she's truly terrible at acting
pfft
@@anastasiabeaverhausen8220 glad you agree
yet you sit there making 20K a year in your parent's basement LMAO
and your truly terrible at assessing acting. she's been great in multiple roles over the last couple of years.
Lol found her the best actress in the movie
Taiwanese? Good Job!
