Save your pennies and buy the proper tube , same thing with the amazon CV40s . swap a few jets and your good to go. with the cv40s we often just swap the jets and run them with no issues .So what was the point ? Just buy the part and swap it out .
I had a tube, but the carb was still way under par compared to the CV40. I went with a small bore Bendix Zenith come the end, which gave exactly the sort of low/mid range boost I was looking for. Possibly at the expense of full throttle performance, so swings and roundabouts 🙂

Still ran badly compared to the CV40; I have a 36mm Zenith on there now.
