Incubus has been quiet. None of the personal drama. Just pure music and delivering. Be like incubus.
Guess you stopped watched before they went full snowflake
@@calehearring1712 99.97% of everyone in entertainment has gone full snowflake. Honestly, what would you expect from a band made up of suburban Socal stoners anyway? Obviously they drink the Kool Aid. They aren't going to be on the right. Incubus could be doing A LOT worse tbh. It's not like they're releasing songs about opening the borders, fighting McFascism(TM), and rescuing brown people from "Trump's America". Other than a few cringey IG posts (like when Brandon went to the Women's March) they aren't really any different than they always have been. I also don't see how criticizing a dipshit like GW Bush is snowflake. I know almost as many right wingers who hate him as I do liberals. That guy bankrupted our country and started a series of wars based on known lies. Fuck him.
Rage Against The Machine are *millionaire communist* pop stars who *capitalized* on Donald Trump to market their last record.
They even called it "The perfect soundtrack for the #Resistance"
*gags
THAT is a band going full snowflake. Lmao
@@clicheguevara5282 couldn't have said it better. Fuck GWB
@@clicheguevara5282 I used to be obsessed with RATM back in 2016 or 2017, and I can confirm, they went full snowflake, like... first studio album.
anyone who disagrees with me and my views are a snowflake. ornge good. commie bad.
did I do it right, snowflakes- I mean- guys?
Dang. Brandon is aging like fine wine.
Compassionate and aware lifestyle showing his results bby ;)
Um yeah!! Beautiful
Damn he sure is! Plus he's smarter than the average bear.
And here I am aging like an old cheese. Damn the luck. Lol
Hell yeah. LETS GO BRANDON!!!! 😜😜😜😜
Incubus...It makes me feel good that they're still a band.
it makes me feel bad to listen to their new stuff
@@sungondese they are still making great stuff like into the summer
@@charliemilroy6497 agreed
@@sungondese ¿?
Brandon Boyd is turning into a silver fox and I am LOVING it.
starting to look like a more handsome anthony kiedis
He is!
He may age just like his dad who is a silver fox
@@holmholmsen4158 I was just thinking the same thing lmao
@@holmholmsen4158 you right tf?
Love how this band isn’t soaked in drama, they just focus on the music :)
Literally. The biggest drama they probably had was with their old dj Gavin koppel.
Lauren Winkler other than that, pretty much nothing. They keep their heads in the game and make good music
C-Force521 so true
They were raised right. Their parents sound awesome
I can only think of when they let go Alex as a member of the band.
HOW DOES BRANDON BOYD STILL LOOK LIKE THAT?!?!?!? HES BEAUTIFUL
Healthy diet, low stress, and exercise most likely. He did age wonderfully.
Yes he fn is
He's a vampire
Look at my man... I also have my hair this length currently
He's like a good wine. Gets better with age.
Incubus was soo sick back in the day their first album and S.C.I.E.N.C.E are funky nu metal masterpieces
Fungus Amongus was their first
Sir Rowell ik enjoy incubus has some their songs from fungus amongus but remastered but it doesnt have psychocylocibin 😭
Game changers for sure.... Oh 1997.... My friends. Brother had the promo single from science and my 12 year old brain exploded!!!!! They were the best.... Not gonna lie I was so pissed when make yourself came out..... I was bummed and ended up giving the cd away.... Still don't miss it. But the first 3 releases were mind blowing
Fungus and Enjoy to me aren’t really nu metal at all. Sounds like Primus meets Mr Bungle meets RHCP.
These segments need to be longer. Incubus is awesome.
Was going to say the same thing - feels like they barely scratched the surface!
Yeah, I could have easily done a full hour. Nice that they allowed for a bit of story-telling; always the best parts of these shows.
Worse and more dangerous than Bush??
i noticed he kind of moves on sometimes when the ppl hes interviewing are talking about interesting stuff and he kind of over simplifies stuff when he gets answers
Jvvopj pic pj poop ppoppcphcjjjvhv
If you ever need to relax, listen to aqeuous transmission. Shit has taken me out of a funk more times than i can count. Hyped to know what instrument that was now!
Yessss!
Okay I'll listen to it bucko thanks for the scoop
Love it so much
I would like to hear them being that experimental with instruments again, like with the didgeridoo. Personally I'd like them to do a Japanese concept album fusing traditional Japanese instruments with and 80s aesthetic
I actually listened to that song for years on repeat to go to sleep. In a good way
“So we always do check”. Instead of “they do get that wrong sometimes” this time.
He’s paying attention lol
Such a phenomenal band. Boyd's vocal einzigers riffs are made for each other.
Boyd's side stuff is good, but his work is on a whole different level when he works with Einziger
Morning View is probably my favorite Incubus album. But yeah, great band.
Agreed I listened to that album just about all the way through High School.
Make yourself..
Morning View is a damn near perfect album.
Its really too bad Incubus got lumped in as a Nu Metal band, which they weren't at all, I am very choosy who I listen to, when I heard these guys on Make Yourself, you could tell there were brains behind the music and lyrics, Morning View had huge success, I still put it on to this day, fantastic self produced album. After Ben joined from The Roots, the band shifted styles, I think too much, and had me feeling they tried to force something, but I do commend them for staying together.
Surf rock music for bisexuals
The white dot on Brandon's shirt is killing me....
Me toooo! I hate fuzz. I want to flick it..😅
Best band of the 21st century. And they don't slow down, they seem to enjoy each other's presence. Love em
I so agree!!
@@betsyh5243 betsy be my southern girl💙
Pardon me, drive, wish you were here, stellar, I miss you. All great tunes
AND Megalomaniac
Pistola too😆😆
Did you only listen to Make Yourself?
@@KloWn694 it's the only one I owned.. lol.. but most of those are what got the most radio play
@@dirkdiggler5525 after listening to Incubus for years, for me it's one of the albums that has stood the test of time. I think it's the best representation of incubus and their career.
The Warmth is an awesome track off that album too
Brandon & Mike seem like genuine real friends, it's very cool to see
Loved Incubus since I was in high school in the 90’s.
They made music that just spoke to me from SCIENCE, Make Yourself and Morning View.
Watching the Morning View Sessions and the Volume 2 DVD’s, lava lamps around the lounge, toking spliffs and hanging with mates. Those nights are my uni day memories.
Probably the most down to earth hard rock band ever
Aw man this should’ve been longer and you so should’ve asked Brandon about Chuck and his dad being the original mascot.
4:20 the way they added Pipa melodies to the Echo and Aqueous Transmission (espiecially this song - beautiful, also the lyric) really deserve(d) a grammy or something :) And Morning View my favourite album.
are you referring to the harmonic solo in Echo? that was just mike finger picking harmonics to get a unique sound out of the notes.
For bands who like to talk, make the video longer Graham! This only covered three albums!
Agree
And no questions about Chuck, I mean wtf come on, I know Graham probably wasn’t that into them but I was growing up and I so would’ve loved to see a longer episode and listened to Brandon and Mike tell some more stories
I love "dig" and "love hurts" and "quick sand" or "a kiss to send us off" - Incubus' music touches me deeply and I so appreciate this band ❤️
If you somehow got Mike Patton to do one of these that would be so amazing!
Sooo true.
Yes please
Mike Einziger is a creative force on the guitar. One of my favourite guitarists hands down, and just seems like a cool and down to earth dude.
Incubus is one of the best unique bands and so happy they look happy.
Damn this is awesome, I forgot all about this band!!
forget all their albums after science.
Incubus-dig and mudvayne-dig mashup. Sprinkle some glorious blast beats on top!
Yannis Villette why would we do that when make yourself and morning view are phenominal albums as well
Sex
@@TheGamesLite - wrong.
After watching this, I kinda wanna see 311: Wikipedia Fact or Fiction
311 for sure
"Was 311 really an inside job?"
There would be so much smiling. It would be wonderful.
Investigate 311!
man please!!!
Steve Vai gave mike a pipa!
That’s cool.
Brandon Boyd is my forever crush!
I would love to see a Trent Reznor Fact or Fiction interview. Make it happen Loudwire.
MIke is legitimately one of the top ten guitarists of all time.
What a wonderful band. "A Crow Left of the Murder" has always been their masterpiece for me. Mike has never produced anything as great as Sick Sad Little World. Amazing stuff.
I LOVE that track and have learned it on guitar. The solo is amazing
@@mvasquez1990123 totally agree; such a great solo
I bought Enjoy Incubus, ACLOTM and Make Yourself from a discount shop and it's was a great find. Incubus are a band that exudes genius.
Facts
Was that a song directed towards their ex-bassist?? 🤔
It's about time, I've waited a long time for this.
I REALLY enjoyed growing up listening to your music! I’m so glad y’all had REAL music! 🙏🏾❤️
One of the greatest bands ever. Every album is amazing
Incubus is such a great band.they re like one of those bands, that even though I dont like their late work that much,I still respect the sh*t out of these guys to this day
Graham is getting better and better at interviwing! so cool to see his progress. following Loudwire is like following a band, but in journalism hahahaah
Graham is the man! Totally agree man.
Awesome band. Happy they are still going strong. Saw them live recently and they rocked the place.
We need more of these guys
Soo much love for the guys of Incubus 💚 Their artistry, talent, message and voice resonates deep within the blend that is my heart and mind 👁
These interviews only deepen that connection. Thank you for being the Light❣ Namaste 🙏
YES!!!!!!! INCUBUS!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!! My prayers have been answered!!!
Mine too
I loooove Incubus since 1998 ❤️
Alinne Bello when Ben Kenny joined they changed up their sound, it was too bad, they killed it with their first 3 albums. Couldn't get into them after that.
dang lady, i think i love you too HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
all Mike and Brandon interviews are awesome
Amazing, wish this was longer
I cannot believe Make Yourself is 20 years old. I remember seeing the video for make yourself on Much Music, instantly falling in Love with the music and Brandon Boyd, finding every album they had and binging it for the next six months. Knowing that was 20 years ago is humbling as hell’s
Agoraphobia is an amazing tune
Honestly I love every album Incubus has ever made but for some reason trouble in 421 has always been my favorite track of theirs...it just hits so hard in the bridge man
I dont know if theyll see this but I would love if Incubus did a cover of Audioslave's Like a Stone. I hear Brandon singing it so perfectly
They actually covered “Black Hole Sun” many years ago. Brandon’s voice is good for covering Chris Cornell
Incubus was my absolute favorite band all through high school and my early twenties starting when I saw them live at Lollapalooza 2004. I've since seen them about 6 more times. All of my friends used to call me Brandon Boyd because I looked so much like him. Man, I miss those days.
Jeremy Day im curious, I went to the very first Lolla up until 97, then it stopped. What was it like in 04?
They just played here in my hometown of Madison, WI four nights ago and absolutely killed it!!! I can't wait to see them live again!
Science will forever be my favorite subject and album. It opened my eyes to many musical genres and I am forever thankful for that album.
Morning View defines my great years. Many memories with that album.
It is nice to listen all these stories. Love the band. Greetings from Chile :-D
Saw them in Philly early October and man were they amazing. Love this band so hard.
There's actually a video on UA-cam titled "last day for seniors at Calabasas High 1994" Its where these musical geniuses started their musical sorcery. Jose is actually the only band member that speaks but his comment was prolific, his answer to being asked what he was going to do after school, his response, "I'm gonna be a rockstar." Love these fkn guys.🤘******CORRECTION******
Alex Katunich aka Dirk is in the video too. Rock on!!🤘
So crazy seeing Brandon with gray hair. So cool though. They look great, still sound great and I can't wait to see them on tour.
I remember some panning on Morning View, but I think it was their best album. A personal favorite, grew up listening to it.
Love this band one of the most diverse bands musically
Love these guys. I’ll be seeing them for the 14th time in a few weeks!
Sept.2021 😷 summer has gone but I still admiring Brandon over and over ♥️
S.c.i.e.n.c.e, Make Yourself & Morning View has to be one of the best consecutive album runs by a rock band. Add on Fungus & A Crow too if you want.
I love everything they've done. There are some albums like Science, make yourself, and morning view that I go back to more than others that feel more attached to the time that they were released. I often have a listen through their whole discography. I'm really excited for the new album and it's on my bucket list to watch them live
I thought everything after SCIENCE was sellout garbage, and blame Scott Litt for ruining them. He was perfect for R.E.M. and the Indigo Girls, but killed this band dead.
Can't wait to see them later this month!
311 and Incubus made some of the greatest music ever from the early 1990s to early 2000s
Aqueous Transmission is my favorite song ever
6:00 am woke up with talk shows on mute flooding my brain. ended up here glad there all together!
Aqueous Transmission is one of my favorites.. that's friggin cool man.
Why did it have to cut so short I love Incubus❗❗ They are such a great band. Brandon Boyd seems to never change. So intellectual and so talented not to mention handsome.😍🙌🏼💕. By the way I don't know if anybody else caught the ending of this what he was saying but Brandon you are so true.
I remember buying Fungus Amongus when it was first released, and then going to see them in Nottingham Rock City when Enjoy Incubus was being played, so I guess it must have been around '97. There were about 100 of us in the tiny crowd, and the band had to push through us with their instruments in hand, to get onto the tiny stage. It was an awesome concert. Have to admit I haven't really listened to them much since S.C.I.E.N.C.E. but glad to see they're still going.
just wanna shout out graham for being probably the best rock/metal interviewer out there, dude's obviously a fan but he's not overbearing, he just likes to sit and have a conversation with the bands. It's fucking cool. Props
Wish you were here..song its like therapy for me. We all lose people but life goes on
Brandon with striped socks and Converse.
i love this group!
This made my day. Incubus is my fav band and I have a Incubus Tattoo. Love these guys.
Brandon is so soft spoken!
These dudes are such nice gentlemen. Love them. Hometown heroes for sure
love the steve vai gift story and the song that came out of it
Thats so incredibly fn dope. Had no clue about that
My favourite band ever!
They are so nice! I met them at their concert in Bogota :D
Love you guys
I'm 36, and this is a kick in the nuts. I can't believe how much time has passed and how old we all are getting. Jason mewes, Kevin Smith and Incubus, where has the time gone. Sad face.
One of my favorites.. incubus rocks 🤘🤘
I just rebought Make Yourself recently. What an incredible record. Think I’ll go through their whole catalog again.
Blackgold1155 just stop once you get to morning view, everything after that was like microwaved dog poo
Can’t wait for Friday!!!!
Was lucky to see these guys twice before. First time with Evanescence as the opening band and second with Har Mar Superstar. The best quality sounding concerts hands down.
Incubus is my favorite band of all time even though their genre is not my favorite genre. I guess that speaks volumes for them.
I was introduced to them through three family values tour. Science!! Since then, I've hooked!!
Well said me too
You are easily pleased
That dissent is still there. Now it is the media... all that matters is this band is awesome
This is one of those bands that just can't seem to make a weak album.
For the lack of a better word, every record is mindblowing.
By far best band to not get as big as they should have.
How have they not been a big band? They've been as big as a rock band could get in this day in age. No authentic band can get as big as today's pop stars and thats no fault of their own but rather that of modern times and people's vanilla taste in music.
311 as well
I think they were always at odds with their label bc they didnt want to sell out do that's probably why
Didnt step on each others toes at all. Refreshing
Incubus brought me up.... Love from India
Cool 😎 cheers from Portugal 🇵🇹
Instant love! Incubus and Pantera and 99. I'm gonna love incubus forever, perhaps perhaps
I remember growing up to their music I collected all of them
So many questions from my teenage years were answered today.
i love this band
awesome guys!
Love this band
He’s wearing a Spacex shirt, Incubus is showing Elon Musk some love.
It's a trend these days. Elin Musk is the new black.
@@ted__ryan Your mean the modern day Tony Stark? lol
They used an Incubus track in one of their launch videos.
In Sept of 2019 is it crazy to expect a heavily music based channel to have volume controlled interviews? Every one of Loudwire's videos that I've watched go from screaming in your ear to unintelligible whispers every few seconds. Maybe I'm way off base, but it makes these things really hard to listen to and appreciate.
Listened to them growing up and I only go out of my way for concerts nearby if it’s them.
9.5/10 make more.
