breeders was always kim's project even before she joined the pixies. she only agreed to the reunion because she was broke... once she made the money she needed she quit the band.

When they got back together, they still didn’t like each other. You can see that in the reunion documentary. They have nothing to say to each other, and travel separately. It’s not a surprise Kim left. They basically got back together so Joey and Dave would get some money.
@@tjclt250r Riding high is an overstatement. The Breeders aren't burning up the charts. A tour selling out arenas with Pixies reunion shows is far more $$ than the Breeders.

Then, they have some back and forth banter. Near the end, Kim says, "I don't know how to bring it back up. Oh! The drummer brings it back up!"
On the cue from the drummer, they then end the song.

@@NormAppleton Get over it, he started the damn band and it was his songs that made them popular. Kim had wrote some great tunes and I love the Breeders but let's be real here. Black Francis's insane lyrics and one man demonic choirboy voice was the real heart of the band.
