This is great content. I think all the clickbait channels will die off, this one will continue to thrive. Almost done watching all his videos. 10/10, love the attention to detail.
Just sometimes A LITTLE BIT of commentary makes it more interesting, but you're right in that there's nothing worse than that stupid, s##t "music" or Dubsteap crap to ruin the video, and too much yak, chat clap, trap crap dose my head in 😒☹️😡😠😤😬🔥🌋☠️ BIG TIME!!
I love these videos, you do an amazing job restoring! I wouldn't use it afterwards tbh 😂 just leave it in the garage to make it look nice, and just buy another jack lmao
I love this. Obviously inspired by handtool rescue but his videos are more about vintage tools and yours are about anything, even some car parts. It's like double the uploads. Keep it up
i just found this channel..OMG your restoration projects are so well-restored..and on top of that i love the ideas that you have on restoring stuff...you'r the bestt!! Also i wanted to mention that it would be nice if you were showing us in the last clip what you restored in action!
You have amazing talent and and eye for attention to detail. I am currently restoring a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. 4x4. Like you, I wanted to learn everything I could during the process (engine and transmission rebuild, suspension, bodywork and paint). The only part I am sourcing out is the upholstery. I admire your work and you inspire me to keep forging ahead with my own project.
You should have more subscribers it speaks to all men on so many levels very satisfying this is what i love doing I'm into an old lawnmower at the moment
This video is so fascinating and soothing to watch. The sped up video and all the little clicks and taps and bird noises makes me think I’m watching a stop motion short. I love this.
Mostly because he always tackles the projects in the correct manner. Thoroughly documenting the tear down and then stripping all parts properly and then coating them for future use either with durable paints or elctrocoating.
A very good sympathetic renovation of a very useful car jack that any DIY car/truck owners would be be proud to have in his garage, well done and keep up the brilliant restoration / renovation coming, gets my thumbs up without a doubt
Im a painter. It was nice to see you sealed the sand blasted metal before priming it. No body does that. They usually go from sand blasted straight to primer. Good resto my man.
Very nice! I feel like the labor that went into that is worth way more than the jack itself, but that is fun in its own way and I would do the same if I had those skills and equipment.
Hey man, I love how you restored this car jack. I especially felt proud how you took so much time & care into every minute detail, even replacing the company logo sticker on the finished product. Good job man...I mean that.
an absolute top quality refurbishment of a very useful piece of equipment, superb finish and I'm sure you were well pleased with the final result, definatley gets my thumbs up
Amazing. Same model as I bought my Dad in 1986 and only thrown away recently as the seals were leaking ( it had a hard life). His was almost the same shade of blue that you chose to do this on in. First class.
Excellent video fantastic job! This content proves that you clearly Got Game. you've got mad Workshop skills. my only question is this. do you own or operate a business that focuses on restoration?? Restoration of any kind Automotive or otherwise! because if you don't, then you need to be. the fact that you put this much work into the restoration of a jack! a car jack!! It now looks better than it would have brand new. Also how long did that whole process take from tear down to reassembly?? You were so detail-oriented removing every clip pin and spindle replating the bare metal parts primer and painting and even clear coating the rest. mind blown
Restore It man I got to say I am totally impressed with your work. your attention to detail is astounding. I swear if I was working and had a paying job right now I would have a project that I would ship to you to have you redo. assuming of course your technical ability would allow such a detail operation. If I had the money I'd likely send it to you just to see if it would be within your skill set. though it would likely take more time then a floor jack did. I'm sure you would have a field day restoring an outmoded parking meter!! Hats off to you sir. I'll likely watch the remainder of your videos tonight before hitting the pillow. what's on the docket for your next restoration project????
Increíble, Extraordinario, Magnifico, Soberbio trabajo!. Felicidades y Gracias por subir el video, no pude dejar de verlo de principio a fin. Saludos desde Coahuila México.
Just the sheer level of efficacy in restoring this particular product to ”as new” status attests to your level of quality work. Keep on with the good work.
Do you think he just works out how to fit it back together, or references photos or film? I know it will be easy for some, but after time away you can easily forget which little part goes where or on which side.
Brilliant finish. Ive read the jack is no longer in use, pity. When you put it back together dont forget to grease the pivot points, that's where most of the load acts. Spend an hour or 2 cleaning up or replacing the glass on your bead blast cabinet, after that cover it to protect it from overspray. Led strip lights and a vacuum dust removal system will greatly improve your visibility. Hydraulics, well it was leaking, it would have been nice to see the ram resealed, maybe an idea for a future video. Keep up the good work.
What a nice surprise! Very good, my friend. Thank you for your work. I have exactly this floor jack, but it is a Ratio brand. A little suggestion. You have inserted the thin tube into the thick tube of the lever 12:03 on the wrong side and therefore the black plastic handle on the opposite end 12:09. Very easy to solve. The screws supporting the 15:23 nameplate are originally slotted round heads. I'm learning too. Very useful, thanks again.
Great job. I'm restoring an very old Craftsman 3.5ton myself right now. Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks a jack is worth the time and effort. Your yellow chromate looks good. Who did you get it from? Jim
Some just see a jack and think what’s the point?! I see a dying art. It’s great to see there’s still people out there that understand the satisfaction of being able to make anything look brand new again. Good work, keep doing your restore thing!
Your restorations are great. I suggest you move on to larger projects. Get a older car like an old VW, or something like that, and refurbish it from top to bottom. My wife, my adult son and I actually actually did a project like that. Not for any reason other then to see if we could. It looked like new when we were finished. Stripped down to the bare metal and everything was rebuilt, reupholstered, carpeted, wired and body work and painted. You look like you would love doing that. JMHO
Restore It love the e30, was my first car, but pretty "well used" when I got it. Poor 3.18i it saw better days, and it blew up one day haha. They can appreciate in value too apparently. Would also enjoy seeing yours brought to life.
This video is so satisfying. They all are really. When I just want to relax and watch something calming and interesting. This is it for me. Thanks for the great videos.
Don’t know why I just watched this, but it was interesting to say the least. Would you be interested in restoring one of mine? I have my grandfather’s 10 ton jack from the 40’s - 50’s he used as a mechanic. I’ve been wanting to get it restored as it’s one of the only things I have of his...

Awesome video. The absolute best part is that you don't talk during the taping or add music later. Just the sound of the work being done edited a bit like the DiResta style. Relaxing and enjoyable. The one thing that bothered me a tiny bit was the volume level of the higher frequencies. Other than that great job and great video.

Hard to believe it isn't straight out of the factory. I don't know how long this restoration took but the results are magnificent.
It doesn't look restored, it looks brand new, you do a truly amazing job!
Remaking the sticker in Photoshop because you couldn’t find another really shows the extra mile and effort, good job man. Great work!
I love that it's quiet - just the tools and some solid restoration. Hope to see more like this!

Looks great! I was a little worried when I saw the plunger hole open when you were scraping the dirt and paint off, but no ham done!
Awesome! the plating on the screws was killer!
Stress free for 16 mins thanks dude u a amazing majority love these kind of video no talking no music no time wasted full of fun watching it

I really appreciate that you took the time to reproduce the manufacturers label and decal. That's dedication.

ugh?? what's up with the sandblasting? Nice video.
I just want to see more sandblasting, in video he only showed before and after, the process was not included

If you have ocd this should drive you crazy, he never changes the seals in the pump, it's like putting a motor with 200k in a brand new corvette.
