Honestly though, still certain he existed at one point. Back when minecraft was still sort of new, the ambient noises were not what scared you. It was turning around, seeing a figure in the shadows, quickly scurrying away. I swear that happened more than once. And upon investigation, no sign of any mobs what so ever.

Another thing it's famous for is it's ability to bring any computer, no matter how powerful, to its knees
It does not work on my new, good computer, but works perfectly for my old computer that will crash if I even go on Google. Minecraft is weird.
This means you didnt did somethong that would stress the computer! Create a tnt world and ignite one of the tnts and then you ll see that no matter how powerful computer you have you ll get 0 fps!
@@the_danksmith134 yep, in the case of a tnt world, no matter what computer you have the game will lag- and that's because of the game engine, not your computer
Idk man, my gtx 1060 6gb can run it pretty well (not tnts, that is death to everything)

When I was six I forgot what baby zombies sounded like and buried myself underground because I thought herobrine was there. Now if I hear or see something weird I let it go so if herobrine came I'd actually be kinda cool with it.
one time i lost half of my house and went on a whole adventure too contain herobrine so it doesn't happen again, and then it happened again

My favorite bug is this: make an iron golem, but with a lit jack-o'-lantern, and there will be a light source that's not made by a block! Great for modern builds, or when you don't like any of the current light blocks.

@@CorgiTheRegularCorgi17 everything: redstone is pretty Bad, on ps4 both single player and multiplayer it really lags, it crash everytime, only thing good is crossplatform but all of my friend have a Ps4. Nintendo switch edition is Better than ps4 Lol. I'm not going to speak about MCPE because it also depends on your phone.

One bug that I can't remake was where I would kill a wolf then take it straight away as it's died and I would have a chance of getting a undead wolf that was still in it's death animation was red but also tamed and could kill mobs but the wolf could not be hurt

Since im a young bro, i only had minecraft on my phone when i started, and the most popular bug was to get a friend to join your game, then you both went into a chest and you both grabbed the loot at the same time, you dublicated it, that bug somehow got patched about 2 years after i stopped with minecraft bedrock
How have you forgotten about the old bug where if you would swing your pick then at the last second before the block broke, you would switch to something else and the pick would take 0 breaking damage whatsoever.

In pocket edition if more than one person was on a world two people could take something out of a chest at the exact same time and both players would get it, duplicating the item. I got a shocking amount of gold, diamonds, iron and nether reactor cores (like if you remember the nether reactor cores lol) using that bug
when i started playing minecraft, i always used to think the nether reactor cores were something to summon herobrine lol

Jkgearhart thats because of how looting works, as long as you kill a mob and you are holding a looting sword you get the effect

I think it also works if you have a looting sword in your offhand and you kill with your bow. Not 100% sure though.
Bow in off hand, looting in main hand, and I think this was marked as an intended feature sometime ago.

The 2nd bug does still work, if you place down leaves with a minecart underneath and then turn your graphics mode to fast.
The "most annoying" bug works (or worked in 1.8) if you place two command blocks with a block between and create a command block clock and connect that to the piston.
Remember that one PE update from long ago where if you went inside a door/trapdoor then left the game and came back you would be on top of all of the blocks that were above it?
I remember a few years ago, there was an arrow duplication bug on the PE version. All you had to do, was spam arrows to the ground, ang boom! You have at least the double amount than you had before
There is a duplication glitch I found in the Better Together update. If you build a hopper clock, and break one of the hoppers at the right time, the item inside will drop on the ground and also be in the other hopper.

You just reminded me how dirty so many popular minecraft words and ideas and jokes must sound to those who do not play.
I remember the Powered Rail glitch! I had a completely legit single player survival world from Beta, and at the back of one of my test rooms was a hidden “secret lab” with a rail duplicator in it. I never took any of the duplicated materials out into the real world (even emptying my inventory before entering to make sure I left with nothing), but I would go back there and dupe stuff to feel naughty, hahaha.
So much roleplay went on inside my head with this game, especially when it was new and even when I was playing alone. Such a magical experience, it truly is a one-of-a-kind game.

Same I was in survival mode with my brother and I saw one so I decided to jump in with ALL of my stuff with me and for some reason it loaded and somehow I was in the ground :-(
I ounce was playing and I made a cave base witch had tons of loot (it had like 4 stacks of item in total) and I signed of for like 14 hours and when I came back on I fell through the world and lost like 76 things of cobblestone and like 23 pieces of wood.i know that's not a lot but it still was very annoying.

One of my favorite old school bugs is the water ladder (fixed in Beta 1.6) - fastest vertical (up) mode of transportation at the time

Hotbagels having done research into this myself, I have a decent idea how/why. It's actually for the better it got patched. The bug was interacting with water through the SW corner of the block you're in. This allowed for swimming up faster (you technically could pull this off with signs, iirc). While this side of the bug was enjoyable, the opposite was not: Lava. Lava through that corner would set you on fire, cause Lava damage, and destroy any item that landed in that corner.

Actually I never stopped using water sign elevators. They work pretty well still. Not the fastest method, but one of the cheapest

2 bugs for bedrock edition:
1. In bedrock edition, you can duplicate items by extending a sticky piston with a wooden button, opening the chest with your target (the thing you’d like duplicated) and pulling it out just before the piston retracts. It takes practice, but if you’re good at anticipating when that piston is going to retract, you’ll be good at it.
2. You can see cave systems for a split second if you are in 3rd person mode (F5 for computers) and mining a solid block while looking at it in F5 mode.
There is bug that i found a couple weeks ago. It works like this: Hold your looting 3 sword in your main hand and bow in your off-hand and shoot something. that looting effect works on animals and mobs

You weren't using the right meme
I used to use this glitch where you changed the name of an item, put that item, unnamed in your inventory with the named item, and double click it. It would duplicate the item into whichever you double clicked, you could do it on the named one or the unnamed one, I used the unnamed, because you can't actually craft named items alongside unnamed items, or at least you couldn't, I haven't actually checked. Although the bug is broken now.

Sand generator are not dead. They just got faster. Panda4994 made infinitly fast sand generator.

Alan B He also made a sand generator that is singleplayerfriendly, and requires ver little effort to build, and is efficent. I dont know what server wouldnt allow that to happen, unless its not whitelisted.

The looting III splash potion bug is still in the game. It works with bows in the off hand too. I'm not even sure if it's a bug or a mechanic. It's wonderful though when you're hunting in Nether fortresses or End cities though.
it's a mechanic. I do believe it for when you try to kill a mob with a flame sword or bow, so that the mob drop xp even if you don't directly put the final blow.
I totally forgot about this bug, and I definitely hadn't thought about the new possibilities with offhanding... This changes everything

It broke normal piston functionality so no, plus their are faster elevator options which was its main use
In my Redstonecreations this Piston Translocation destroyed many thins what was realy sad but now it all working again

There is this bug in Console edition (that has not been removed) It the duplication glitch
Steps :
1st : Disable Autosave
2nd : Save Game
3rd : put anything you want duplicated in a empty chest then close the chest
4th : Close you're application
5th Go back and load up the world
BAM ! Duplicated (You can do it with ANYTHING Elytra Bottles of enchanting etc)

On minecraft pocket edition there was also a duplication glitch but you needed two players put one item in a chest and then have both people to click the item so it goes into there inventory at the same time and then what should happen is that the one item would be registered as one person picking it up because they picked it up at the same time so one person would have one of the item and the other person having the same item then you just repeat that for as many times as you want
There was also a fun duplication glitch a long time ago that involved running water into a nether portal, dropping items in the water, and it would give you a glitched item that could spawn stacks of the material it was, including tools that kept the meta data (if a axe was eff4 with 1091 durability, all copied axes would keep that). I remember exploiting it a bunch in my single player world a long time ago.

I remember one where if you picked up an item (it had to have never been picked up before or it wouldn't work) and then you saved and quit immediately, when you relogged it would still be in your inventory and on the ground.
You could easily do it to a single item several times before it would mysteriously quit working on that item. It was basically old Minecraft fortune enchantment but without the enchantment.

I have a story to tell about my living with unloaded chunks....One day i set up my base, built it up, just finished the street and suddenly in the middle of the street there was an unloaded chunk.I thought it wouldnt be that bad and let it stay there,but it didnt wanted to disappear and one day a cow went into this chunk...and it replecated itself at the end there were so many cows, that i had to switch into creative mode take some TNT and blow them up because splash potions didnt work and that destroyd a hole sea and i had to fix it all...
That was my story about the aCOWpalypse ;D

I did actually see hero brine walking through a small stone tunnel in my base, when i was on a friends PS4, and he was in the bathroom. No-one believed me, even though 2 days later their PS4 got burnt out and the TV it was displaying on got broken. From then, we have not got the chance to play minecraft together till very recently when I got java edition.

Skipping every other block when building a ladder (this was so common when they fixed it they changed the crafting recipe to give you more ladders as compensation)
Water ladders, where when water was flowing a certain way against a ladder you would rocket up it.
The cave system thing works with a composter when standing in it and put a sand above you. It doesn't work with trap doors because the block has to be a solid one. A piston pushing down also makes you crawl and it works
Remember when you could throw a harming potion and then a healing potion and it would make the mobs walk around while laying on the ground and still be alive?

Pirated copies of minecraft got patched. Use to have Steve's everywhere, running around on servers. The huge thing was by altering the games files they would appear to have skins but to others they would look like the default skin. Many people used this free version to make UA-cam videos. They even were allowed updates till it was patched blocking updates and blocking the ability to join up to date servers.
