- Our last installment of 1320Video tours Japan comes a little late, but it was well worth it, we wanted to show you a little of the sight seeing we did around the city & country side to give you even more reasons to put Japan on our bucket list! Driving down the beach, touring Up Garage, Ushiku Daibutsu (big buddah), downtown tokyo, Autobachs, Shibuya crossing, Fuji Speedway, Fuji Motorsports Museum, Nissan Amori factory, Daikoku PA, and the streets of Tokyo! It was an unforgettable trip and we owe a big thank you to Michael Ingram for showing us around and editing this video!

That would be cool, purely Japanese scene! Time attacks, drifts, legendary tuning shops, vehicles we didn’t get, what it takes to own and drive a car in Japan, all that! I know a lot have been done, but for this channel it would be sick!
That was such an amazing trip, It was an honor to be your tour guide and to edit a video for the 1320 Video channel! Glad we could make it one to remember!

Japan is probably my favorite place ive ever been to. Especially tokyo favorite city by far. Its pretty unbelievable the hype is real.

I was stationed in Iwakuni Japan in 2002 for a year and miss Japan tremendously. I remember watching drifting before drfting was a thing. And seeing all the JDM legends at car lots off base lined up for pennies. If I only knew the prices they would be today.... 🙄

Really enjoyed this. The comments at the end mirror my own experiences with the Porsches of my high school dreams... when you encounter them in the flesh years later, there's this nagging realization that they're just old cars... and newer cars are usually better in some important ways.

I miss Japan! I was stationed in Tokyo from 2015-2019 and our time went so quick there because we loved every minute of it. Such a bad ass country.

You should definitely send a few 1320 guys to tour Japan and other countries around the world to show all the different types of car communities and especially places like Puerto Rico they have such a crazy diversity of customizing cars and they race insane vehicles in Dubai! I would love to get to see other countries and I know everyone would enjoy more of this kind of inside look

The cars are amazing
I went to Japan a few times last year and on one trip was fortunate enough to go to Shibuya Crossing. We got some Starbucks on a corner there, sat the second floor window and spotted cool cars for about 2 hours. It was so amazing to see what they had. Some of the weirdest things I saw were the rare ones for them. Like a 6th gen Charger SRT8 and an old American muscle car (don't remember what it was). Heck of a lot of Mercedes there too... 😀

The first time I went to Japan was in April 2022 so no tourist were there. I am going back at the end of June again for work it's a great place to visit. Where I go for work is near the Up Garage near Sammits workshop and everyday I see a clean as green C33 Laurel.

Those cars are awesome, I would have liked to see a 90s MR2. I have a built 92 and I absolutely love this car.
Kyle, if you prefer late model cars, but like the look of older JDM cars, do a review of Chris's R69 from B is for Build. He took an R35, modified the chassis, used the interior and drivetrain of the R35, and put an R34 body on it.

That Toyota tunnel run was quiet. My ex brother in law had a 2007 corolla xrs and it was fantastic. Until he did an emergency brake burnout, tried to hit second gear, and grenaded the transmission. Shrapnel was everywhere.

I've been to Japan multiple times and I've rented multiple cars from Omoshiro, and I'm STILL JEALOUS. lol. Got a few vids on my channel.

My first car would have to be a Toyota MR2 2nd gen. As my favorite car is the ever elusive and stupid rare JDM2000GT. As there are only 34 vinned cars that have been found so far. People don't realize how much of a legend the MR2 is. I wished more people knew of the car and its history. Especially since a certain man raced a MR2 in the GT series and kicked ass in it. Most people would know him as The Drift King aka Keiichi Tsuchiya. If you want to know more look up the 1998 Taisan/Tsuchiya MR2. The JDM2000GT was a car produced from already vinned MR2s and sold as a special commemoration of the dominance of the MR2 in GT racing.
My top jdm cars are Mazda RX3 and Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R

Fun Fact: There used to be a Super Autobacs in the L.A. area, but it didn't last long and got closed for good way back in 2009. I had actually visited once during a trip to the area, and unfortunately it was nothing like what I had seen from the shops in Japan, which is one of the reasons why it likely didn't last too long.
