That was exactly the thought process behind the builds ^_^ Strong, easy to make templates that you can tweak to your liking. Thanks for cheking them out! Hope you find something you like in there too!
This actually really helped. I wanted to get through the whole game based off of how I decided to build because it was more fun that way. By the time I beat Valstrax I wasn't feeling all the great still because I knew LS could do more damage than what I was doing. This helped give me a reason to get more done with the build.
I don't even play LS, but this video is so well done and easy to follow excellent work. Maybe I'll make a set to make an LS set now. Thanks for this video.
@@YokaiNox I know how it is I make vids too! Not only did I learn about Ls vids I learned a bit about how to be a better Monster Hunter tuber. Excellent work man.
@@Jaycan Nice, i'm thinking about making some content on those aswell (been a minute since i've played GU😅). Not sure wich route i'll take with that yet tho.
Tried out the showstopper because my friends and I were sick of monsters like Nargacuga, Zinogre, etc, jumping around and being annoying, making the fights drag on. Before I knew it, I kept using it and kept using it, tweaking it overtime to make it fit my charms and play style. Went from a mediocre HR4 high rank version, to an insane tweaked version using all the armor pieces available post HR8 and beyond. I was able to squeeze out attack up 4 using the Anjanath coil, and hours later I ended up using the Valstrax arms for weakness exploit, going for level 3 protective polish, and a level of evade extender. Thank you much for what's probably been 30-35 hours of use, and so many monsters para'd. Extremely fun, simple, and easy to tweak build. Also, do you mind sharing the layered armor on the showstopper build?
Happy to hear you're enjoying it so much! Knowing that defenitely makes the work on these kind of Videos worth it ^_^ That sounds awesome! Your build actually sounds alot like the one i'm currently using for it aswell 😄 The Layered Armor is comprised of: - Kunai Earings / red & black - Dober Mail / all black - S. Studded Gloves (Seashell Armor) / black & red - Remobra Belt / white & black - Black Leather Legs / all black (There's actually a Layerd Armor Video coming soon ^_^ )
For the best build for Tigrex sword, I think you better drop maintaining white, you can fit in atk 4, which boost your attack to comparable with that white sharp build at Blue sharp and you don't have to look out Protect Polish at begining/every 60s. My build: Kaiser-Barioth-Valstrax-Anja-Ingot Also you should drop 2 Crit Eye in Chameleos build for 2 more attacks, why? Because 10% affinity translate to 4% more dps with Crit boost... While with 2 more attacks, you got 6 atk + 5% more dmg!!
ATK boost Lv 4 (or higher) & No Protective Polish works great on Tigrex LS👍I run a set with it aswell. But mathematically it only beats a white sharpness setup in Speedruns or if you play at a advanced level were you're not whiffing many hits and tearing through your shaprness due to it. Since these Builds are meant to be adjustable for all Level of players the sharpness setup is more "user friendly" ^^ You're defenitely right about the Cham LS. Going with 2 more Levels of ATK boost is the stronger option. If it were meant to be a DMG only focused Build then it would be that insted in the video ^_^ Thanks for the feedback, it's good if more people see that there are lots of different ways to go about making builds!
Hi, I don't know if you intend to do do but you should make build sets for every weapon so we can get great builds and see more of what you like to use

Early, late, no matter ! You're welcome here any time! ^_^ There are 2 reasons that are kind of the main thing for Narga weapons disapearing from the spotlight a bit. - At this point both Tigrex & Chameleos LS will straight up just outperfrom Narga if you can semi-reliably hit weakspots - Alot of players got a bit bored of seeing Narga weapons everywhere 24/7 😅 However, Narga weapons are still an outstanding choice in alot of cases! :)
1x Handicraft Jewel Lv 3 2x Sharp Jewel Lv 2 3x Grinder Jewel Lv 1 1x Tenderizer Jewel Lv 2 1x Sheath Jewel Lv 2 1x Brace Jewel Lv 1 3x Steadfast Jewel Lv 1 3x Recovery Jewel Lv 1 I Listed them in order of relevance/importance here. The last 2 skills can be whatever you want to fit into the Lv 1 slots (the free meal skill deco is nice aswell) I recommend keeping atleast 1x Level of Steadfast tho, as it can make a drastic difference if some monster decides to go berserk 😅
Ik I’m really late haha but which build do u think is more comfortable bc I’m not really good at using the lai counter my reaction time is really slow lol
Questions are welcome at any time, no matter how late or early :D In that case i recommend starting out with the Invisible Truth due to the slots on the weapon. It'll allow you customize things a bit, if you want to go for any other comfort skills.
Crit boost Jewels (Critcal Jewel 2) require you to have : - Lazurite Jewel - Apex Blaze Sac (from Apex Rathalos) - Magnamalo Horn + - Almudron Plate If you can not see them yet in the "Create Decorations" Section it's likely you're missing one of the top items listed to unlock them. Hope this helps :)
I really like the rampage build. But I do have the question. Would it make more sense to go for paralysis 1 instead of 2? The weapon then has 10 paralysis tho but no damage fall off
Glad you liked it, i apriciate the feedback! ^_^ A very good question and something i messed around with for quite a bit. Going the route of Paralysis 1 essentialy gives us ~ 5% more Raw for dropping 50% Paralysis. On the more resilliant monsters that meant loosing out on the 2nd/3rd paralysis in most cases, wich when playing solo hardly made any difference at all as the slightly higher DPS output makes up for it. in Mutiplayer though, it became quite noticable as the para is an open damage window for everybody in the group and the 2nd/3rd para takes longer to trigger due to the resistance scaling up. For me personally, I use both versions😄 for Monsters i know most likely wont make it to the 2nd/3rd para anyway, i go with the para 1 version for more juicy Numbers. For everything else i use the para 2 version.
I hope they greatly improve the quality of Lances with Sunbreak. LS got the Insane Chameleos LS and Lance got squat... No good status Lances, Elder Lances are barely a step above any of the mid tier Lances... Really disappointing. I think a lot of people are sleeping on the Kamura Inheritance LS though. I love that thing.
Well said! I've been messing around with Lance for a while and even with pretty good Talismans now it still falls significantly behind.. Tigrex is literally the only Lance that can kind of keep pace numbers wise, wich is pretty sad.. Let's keep hope alive for Sunbreak! ^_^
@@YokaiNox I still rock the Barioth Steak Knife. Little handi for white sharpness, rampage for little bit of raw, the 40 base affinity goes good too. I don't run a meta set, I run a guard 5 slugger setup because I got a guard 2 slugger 2 talisman :D. I also run the Kushala Regen so I never have to stop fighting even due to chip damage. It's a very comfy build that lets me breeze through most hunts without ever touching my item bar.
@@BlackBeltGamers88 I actually realy like the Bari LS design wise aswell. Hoping Bari weapons in general get some good, and more "up to par" upgrades! Fingers crossed for Sand Barioth coming back aswell! 💪
