love the combo of different dunks
Nah I need some more variety 😭 soon
@@Jumpsbychi I was just looking at some old videos and you were doing off vert through the leg dunks!
Mano. Sou do Brasil
Sou dunker, uma tecnica sua salvo minha vida. Enterrada com duas mãos com apoio nos dedos da mão!!! Obrigado mesmo mano. Agora sou seu fã. Era o que me faltava pra completar minhas dunks. Me inscrevi e vou acompanhar seus videos.
Deus te abencoe muito. Tamo junto brother
So satisfying to watch 🔥
Low key Inspiring 💪😁
He makes it look so easy
While me right here , I get on 23” or 24” (my vertical)
Last dunk was the best one
I remember when I use to leap like this....it's light weight depressing I can't no more. Feel like I lost my identity . I remember that feeling of just elevating & floating through the air .
Go chi go!
🐇🔥
Yo at 2:04 you mentioned jumping with a hip hinge... does jumping through your hips help you jump higher off vert or even off a dribble? I can dunk sometimes but I never thought about jumping through with my hips before!
I’m just playing around with different styles. Personally, I jump way higher with a lot of depth/significant knee bend (less hip hinge). Definitely play around
Hey Chi, my Track and Field coach says when we do weight training not to lift heavy. But rather to go for speed but not weight, because she claims lifting heavy only builds bulk muscle. Is this true? Should I only lift light for speed or is it okay to lift heavy weights for explosiveness?
Yeah. You want to train for power and explosiveness, not muscular strength.
force x velocity = power
(Strength x speed = power)
Hope this helped
You can still lift heavy. Unless she’s talking about lifting in excess of your ability which is just not smart for your physical health.
In season you probably won’t want to do as much heavy volume though. (eg. significantly lower reps or sets). Idk what you’re built like rn but I wouldn’t expect lifting heavy to cause significant hypertrophy. With that said, if your coach has process I’d just follow it. There’s a time and place for both.
Lifting for speed is a good idea for track athletes but heavy weight "only building bulk muscle" isn't true. Both can be useful and as long as you're making progress stick with your coach
Hahahaha were you mic’d up?!? 3:27 AHHHHH!! Great video and cracked me up! 😂💥
We mic’d up!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽
@@Jumpsbychi bro!! I love it!!
dunking like Shaq day 12403
lets get ittt
😤
How long did it take u to dunk off vert with two hands ??
Can’t say. First time when I was 19 I think
I lot of people think jumping with 4 /5 step approach getting to certain height is same as getting there with 1/2 step approach and they confuse as fuck ,I tell them in a game if you need to get 4/5 steps to block me you in trouble but if they pass you the ball close to the rim I can block you almost off vert because you can't get that many steps and can't jump with small approach
Wait how tall are you exactly?
Where's the one foot series????
Keep spraining my ankle lol and the indoor gym I'm at doesn't seem great for one foot jumping. I really want/plan on getting back to it soon though
How tall are you?
How many dunks do you usually do in a dunk session?
Not sure. But probably too many
@@Jumpsbychi oh okay😅
Notification squad!
You’re a beast 🤌🏽
