I love how easy it is to size these up and down in scale. The majority of the dolls I have are 1:6th scale so I'll need to build a custom house, but you have so many amazing project I can just double in size!
Those doors are beautiful. Excellent work, as always. I don't remember seeing those miter shears before. That's such a clever tool. Thank you for sharing this door tutorial with us. I hope you and your family are well.
Thank you!! I hadn't known about them either but some subscribers clued me in :) They're such a nice addition to my tool set and I'm so happy to have found them.
Love it! Can you make a miniature fridge. Please. I am currently working on a Barbie doll house make over for my niece. Your videos have helped so much.
Hi. I love your tutorials! Question: I've used craft sticks a couple of times for various things, and I was not successful in getting a smooth surface because the wood warped when I painted it with acrylic. Do you ever have this problem? Am I doing something wrong?
This is insane... I’ve seen doors that can open but never ones that look as realistic as this one does with hinges and a door handle that really turns to open the door. This is just incredible. I said it before but your talent is just beyond incredible
I love your work. Such attention to detail yet you make it all look so easy. You do well at explaining things also. I’d love to see a tutorial for a modern barn door on its rail.
I've made this door and it turned out perfect. You are truly talented. I would like to know if you'll ever do a 1/12 French door? That would be so neat. Just a thought. Merry Christmas and Happy New ☺️🎅🎄
Kindly make REBATE Frame for the door , when we are using BUTT Hinges, So that the door get sunk in that rebate channeled frame , This concept is basically used in big doors for door sunk , privacy & security purpose Thanks ,
Where did you get the nails from? I am trying to do doors for my advent calendar. I using a shoe cubby so the door is a pretty thin and I can't find nails to fit the 1.5 mm. Width of the door I am using?
Always appreciate you linking all your supplies - those miter shears are great! The link for the drill bits doesn't work :( But just knowing those exist is helpful, going to go look for some! Always excited when a StS video comes up on my feed. :3
You take miniatures to the next level! I was hooked by this video and it inspires me to want to excel with my own projects. I've been having some difficulty with doors lately and so this particular video proved to be excellent.
Kat (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) you are winning the mini game !!! Great vids and tutorials, thank you sooo much for sharing your gifts and talents with us !!!
Im making a 1/6 scale door right now. I wasnt going to make it operable, but this is making me reconsider; it doesnt look too complicated, plus ive got the mini hinges already
How, HOW do you make those holes so that the wood doesn't crack? Is it some special wood? I don't have those specific craft sticks, so I use whatever I have (like real coffee stirers from cafes, not craft sticks), and it cracks all the time I try to make a hole! Is it not the case with those sticks?
This is brilliant. I'm restoring a 100-year old dollhouse and I could not find any doors to fit (others broke). This way I can make them exactly the right size. Thanks so much for sharing this video.

For what you spent on sticks it would've probably been easier to buy a balsa bundle.
What's that small copper thing
you are indeed clever, I have subscribed. P.S. I liked the music and I understood you perfectly.
Thanks for the sub! LOL I hear from time to time people can't understand me.
Hi, could I kindly know the length of the sticks at 1. 21 and 1. 26 minutes of the video?

👍🏻👍🏻 💖💖💖💖💖 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Im making a 1/6 scale door right now. I wasnt going to make it operable, but this is making me reconsider; it doesnt look too complicated, plus ive got the mini hinges already
Excellent
Beautiful. I know how difficult it is to put those tiny hinges on. I have some and still haven’t mastered that.
How, HOW do you make those holes so that the wood doesn't crack? Is it some special wood? One suggestion would be: to bevel the inserted raised panels of your door would really make it look authentic. Good work!
This is brilliant. I'm restoring a 100-year old dollhouse and I could not find any doors to fit (others broke). This way I can make them exactly the right size. Thanks so much for sharing this video.
This is so amazing! Thank you for sharing! 💕✨🫶🏽
You should try pets next or maybe a bird cage or dog cage?
Can I know the door name?
