Tbh, most crafters I watch is talented. This young lady is gifted! My kids and I still watch the IKEA inspired miniatures over and over !
Aww thank you! Thats such a lovely thing to say! I'm so happy that you and your kids enjoy my videos! :)
I think that was a wonderful shade of blue, anything to vibrant just doesn't look realistic, that looks like it may have once been brighter, but time has done it's thing and makes it feel more lived in and welcoming
Love how simple you made this all sound. Lovely door. :}
Great job. Beautiful door. Your voice is fine, I prefer to hear the voices on tutorials than just music. It's more personal. Cheers Robyn ❤😊
Great tutorial! I might make two for the inside of my dollhouse, though the doorway is arched so I need to figure that out but love the wood handle technique. X
So glad you're back & I really like hearing you talk. You did such a great job.
Aww, that's so nice to hear!
YES MORE DOORS PLEASE, So cute
Fabulous I think you did a great job!I know cameras and lighting can change colors of doors but from my end It turned out great! I love the color.
Great video , well done 👍 Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪
Bevelling the edges is the word your looking for. Nice door btw! I subscribed because you explain everything really well. Thank You, I prefer when people show the method like You, but don't stick rigidly to measurements as I want to make it smaller and it really helps.
Thank you! I'm so happy that you find the video helpful!
Extremely easy to follow instructions, for a first talking vid you were amazing, the doors were outstsnding 💯🙂
Yes, I’d love to see another variation of a door!
Fantastic, really clever, would love to see a letter box and knocker made on next door , but you have really helped me with this video.
Thank you! I'm so happy that you found the video helpful!
Great door, and you made it sound so easy to follow. Thank you
This was GREAT! I love how you made the panelling AND the hardware!
So happy that you liked it!
THANKS FOR EXPLAINING THE DETAILED MINIATURE DOOR SO EASILY ❤️❤️
I’m so happy it was helpful
Perfect. If you think it was dull..just coat with clear nail polish. 😊
Excelente trabajo!sin duda hermoso y bien explicado! félicidades!saludos desde México 🇲🇽👍
Loved this miniature door. Trying to get ideas on making my own door for the mini-boutique in my town square. Thanks so much for sharing! 😍❤
That's fantastic, wish you had a channel to share your town square!
Thank you so much for showing me how to do a door. Now my next project I need is how to do hinges that work so I have a working door. Do you happen to have a video on that?
I am drawing up plans for a scale house and this is one of the best door videos I have seen. (stealing your door)
I’m so happy that you liked it! If you post any pictures please tag me, I would love to see it!

I think you did an excellent job, I wouldn't have believed this was your first talking video if you hadn't mentioned it. Well done, I have subscribed and gave you a like, I'll have to watch your previous videos.
Thank you! I'm so happy you liked it!
Very clever and easy, thanks!
I love it, thank you for sharing ❤
Well done tutorial!
Great
I thought you did a great job with the narration thank you 😊
Aside from the lock being upside down (at least the mine all have the keyhole under the knob) it looks perfect. Great job, very good technique :)
Where are you from? This is normal
@@jessiecatmeow419 from Earth where the door locks are like this:

I'm so glad you liked the video! All the doors in my area have the locks over the handle, so I based it around that. I did google "front door" when I read your comment and I got results for both versions, so it seems to depend on where you live :) The good thing is that it's easy to swap places for the handle and lock on the project so you can customise it to your own liking. Thank you for the comment :)
Pretty cool
would like to try this, for my Pop Up Parade's Suzume figure :D thank you
Very neat, simple tutorial--thanks!
Awesome work. Thanks
Good Job girlfriend! I will be following your videos for more tutorials. Keep up the good work and you will go far. I needed a good door.
You did a very good 'talking video. I'd love to see what other style door you would like to show us how to make. I really like your channel.
Missed you and the inspiration!
Nice !!
I’m shocked how amazing this looks and how creative you were creating this, materials, construction and tools used. Wow! 🤯🤩❤Love it, great job!
Beautiful job ❤️. The handle look upside to me, byť that's probably becouse here in Slovakia, we have always key holes under the handle. 😉
beautiful door - I would love to see a “stained glass” insert in the top of one! Thanks for sharing!
I've been thinking about making one! Or possibly a stained glass window!
@@Craftish I've seen some really clever stained glass windows. Or Tiffany style lamps. With nail polish, or tinted glue for the colors
Brilliant thanks for sharing ❤
Yah! I thought you forgot about us. So glad you're back. This is a great tutorial. The instructions and your voice are very good. I'd love to see more frequent tutorials. Are you making the furniture pieces to fill a dollhouse? I mean you made a door, do you plan to attach it to a wall at some point? I actually like the color. You could always distress it to deepen the color or add gloss etc. But, it's a really pretty color.
Thank you! I have a few new videos coming up in the next couple of weeks! At some point I would really like to build a dollhouse from scratch but I don't have the space for it at the moment. But we will see if my need to build it eventually overcomes the fact that I don't have anywhere to store it.
@@Craftish you could make a room box to start. Maybe a standard size so you could add to it later, either stack rooms or put side by side
Nicely done ! Have you made cathedral looking doors ?
Gracias, muy realista y bonito
So amazing 😍
Please can you tell what is the thickness of 3 pieces of wood that you used ?!
Love your project!!!
Thank you so much!!
I enjoyed this very much! I subscribed
This was a Super cool tutorial
Good job and good luck in the future!
Thank you! I’m so happy you liked it!
Very cool! 👏🏻
Now build one in HO scale. That would make the door about an inch tall. Then make a window with the panes and glass. Then build a house 2 inches tall, completely framed and sided and add the windows. See......Model railroading wooden structures. You might like this....it's fun.
Use a gluestick to put your paper template on the wood. It will be easy to remove the paper.
I personally would avoid doing that as you could damage the wood by either pulling up fragments of wood when you remove it or leave behind glue residue on the surface.
Great video!
Thank you
So glad you liked it!
yes.yes.its verrrrrry nice👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
This is perfect because I like making room boxes. I need false doors..
Wonderful!
This is one of the simplest and easy to follow door tutorials Ive come across, awesome thanks!
Would like to know how you can put it in your dollhouse. How do you make it moveable in there?
Terrific!!!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
What a great video. Any chance of another miniature door tutorial, but one with window panels.
I'll see what I can do! :)
@@Craftish Thankyou

I’d put handle on the other side of door ☺️

Just subscribed very good videos, can you tell me the dimensions of the door please?
Good job👌👍👏

Excellent mam...... what kind of paint did you used...
Where to get this wood in different thickness?
What's it called?
please help me.. About this sheet name. I'm not understand about this sheet name.what you say.please explain
😘
How much did you spend for the wood? Thanks
Hello! I just found out about you and your amazing work! I have to do a project for uni and trying to find a cheaper option for my miniature windows and doors, I decided to use plywood, just like you did. My question is... how thin should I order my plywood.. can I do the same door using 3 mm birch wood ply?Thank you very much!
Hi! I use Balsa wood in my projects (you could also use bass wood). I don't really work with plywood so I can't really give a lot of advise there, but from what i remember from working with it in wood-shop as a kid (😅) I remember it splintering a lot. So unfortunately its probably not something I would use based on what I remember from past experiences. But that could just be that they got really low quality stuff for a school wood-shop. If you decide to go for something else, balsa wood is cheap and easy to work with!
How do you put hinges on the door?
💝👏👏👏
good teqnic baby
Looks good. What type of glue do you use?
All materials are listed in the description box
Y have one big house miniature, don’t have door and windows
I see a blue door.... I want it painted black....
Do you make it to order
Have you ever made a screen door
where can we get that wood for the doors? How thin is that?
Hi! this was made with 1 mm and 3 mm thick balsa wood.
Here are some links:

Where to purchase the wood
Hi! I have links to everything in my description box
Is this door made in 1/12 scale?
Yes it is!
Sister will u can make a mini house for me please
What’s the point of your videos if you don’t give out measurements? I don’t find it very helpful that you are showing off and yet not really giving us actual information. Not subscribing to you!
The point is to learn different techniques of how to do things. I have a disclaimer in the description box explaining why I don’t give out measurements. Most of my projects are based of of guessing the original size and scaling that down so I’m sure some of them are a bit off. So instead of giving out faulty measurements that people will spend time on recreating only to realize it might not fit, I just show the process. Sizes of doors and furniture may differ a bit from continent to continent or country to country, so if I give out measurements of a European door it may not fit your American dollhouse. Wouldn’t that just suck after spending all that time on it?
Craftish how do you learn different when you hide the main information! You need to do honest videos, showing off with your knowledge is not helping to anyone. Your video would be more cohesive if you did step by step. Bringing us in the middle of your project is misleading us. Or don’t do any videos if you want to keep half of knowledge to yourself.
Did you even read what I said? The measurements could be off. Do you want to make something that won’t fit your project? There are plenty of people who enjoy my videos and can still learn from them. If you don’t like my style of videos then feel free to watch another Chanel.
Thank you so much for showing me how to do a door. Now my next project I need is how to do hinges that work so I have a working door. Do you happen to have a video on that?
