Craziest thing to me is ben_ did this in just over 1d…2nd place (Alkaizer) didn’t do it until 4 1/2 days later….insane.

yeah, ben is the goat for sure. But DD is also insane. I think he admitted it would have taken a couple more days if he wasn't DD. The skill just gets uber viable damage with little investment and is a DOT with no projectile to miss.
I dont think "uber viable" is the correct term but its enough to be doable yes.@@joeSCHMOEwithTheo

Ben did not enter their Bosd Arena.. they just happened to chill at Ben's Boss arena and they quickly learnt that theyre not allowed in there.
That second to last ball phase was so fucked. I cant imagine being able to do that...

Hey i am new to the game, how does he heal up so quickly? Does he just spam the instant life flasks whenever he is in a dangerous situation so they get used whenever he actually looses any amount of life? And they don't consume charges until he looses life?
The flask tech is if you have life flasks without a suffix, they only use when there is life to restore, so you can be spamming them when you are about to take damage without draining them -toad
Exactly. His life flasks have no suffix mod which means they cannot be used until he loses life. The prefix on these flasks makes the flask instant and the enchant on it gives alot more charges than usual. Basically life flask piano when he is about to take alot of damage.

What is this focus + arcanist brand tech that you mentioned?
Its an interaction where you use Defiled Forces notable, and then you use arcanist brand to apply a curse, and since arcanist brand keeps applying a curse, you can extend the ignite

I dont understand how his dmg is so good im running this same build and ive got way better gear and my dmg isnt that good. Is the focus shock mod that broken?
15% MORE damage. probably a consistancy thing too. hes always applying damage theres no downtime
@@tykobray4132 yh i added it to the build and it did make a difference but either way that build is ass on console the targeting is terrible so will never be playing that skill again

How does he cast shield charge and divine blessing? it's on 2nd bar?
I believe ziz explained this. And it is rebinding the key with a mouse button and you don't have to hold control to access it.
you don't need to change the skill bar to use the other skill bar
@@dizzydojo doesn’t need to be a mouse button, can just change the bindings in settings to whatever you want
yes, on second bar. doesnt have to press control to use the skills bc they're bound to easy buttons

@@SilentButDudley That's alkaizer, a guy who's lived an breathed melee in every type of these games. - and look at the work he had to do, its exactly my point. The DPS downtime etc...its jus comical.
Alk was tanking all the beams and meteor while doing a lot less damage tho, as a witch you can die form a random autoattack, it takes a lot of practice. Ben made it look very easy for what it actually is, he talked a lot about what he was checking during the fights, things like EO, which corpse to DD actively on the screen, molten shell, blessing cd etc it's just impressive

He mentioned that he would partake in a race thatll take more than 1-2 days and that DD is the only skill that can achieve that
with all respect to Ben and the other racers, I mean I sure as hell couldnt do it. But isn't it sad too somewhere that it barely costs a day these days to finish all the content in the game?
I feel like there should be some re-evaluation at GGG if this is truly what they want.
I think the races used to be alot more fun when they longer to finish, like atleast a full week etc.

There is only one other player who has the skill to do this and thats Exile. Everybody else even insane players like Ziz, Steelmage, Lily and others would not be able to do this until day 4 or 5. And those are the Top 0.1% of players. The game is hard enough.
Isnt it sad that the 100meter only requires 9.58 seconds now.
I think the races used to be a lot more fun when they took longer to finish.
I think they should put baricades and throw random stuff at them to make it more challenging for the top athletes.
I mean 99% off the runners cant even get a sub 10 but i think the olympic committee should really reevaluate what they want.

If you have Ben's build to anyone else they would die. What Ben did is amazing and is tantamount to speed running this game.
He did these fights with a build that only had 1.6m Uber DPS. A build that couldn't tank Shaper slam or Sirus meteor.
I challenge you to do the same thing start to finish in 23 hours played.
10:05 lol, what a BS. I can tank 1 ball as a 4000 life glass cannon ranger with ruby flask active. Ben tanked the ball just for like half of his HP even with the debuff that increased the ball damage by over 30%. One of the reasons I hate live content... streamer wants to talk with chat but half of the people there are like this guy - they probably never even fought exarch themselves an barely knows anything about it but just have to say something so they get the streamer's attention.

That insta log out macro. Just play softcore. Dying is part of the game. There is nothing special about hitting alt+F4.
You try it then. I bet you die before you read the situation that you're about to die in. Also there are situations that are kinda bugged and will insta kill and the only way around it is a reset.

Yes uber. I have him insanely geared. I've been playing him for a few years now. 5.5k hp 100 suppress 100 avoid aliments max res 80res all max chaos res 95 evade 70dr with flasks and charges 100%uptime on frenzy charges and endurance charges.
@@britneyplinke8166 yea sure thats why its called a race. u wont have enough time to farm all ur 100 divine gear to tank uber eater beam. ben_ didnt even have a 6L, not to mention good enough gear to complete the race
