it feels clunky because the damage comes in AFTER the brands are activated AND EoW projectile return. There's a tech that avoid this problem (I saw it from @EugeneTD) Unveil trigger socketed spell on weapon, socket brand recall - empower - enhance, with some brand recall cooldown from tree. Now the brands can be activated BEFORE the boss comes active, it feels a bit smoother. Besides, you can scale the damage with number of brands this way as well.
If you are worried about degen use master surgeon and life flask with % flask life recovery on tree for like 10k life recovery per second instead of onslaught.
I was playing the hierophant version of this build and I was like... "Why is pathfinder so squishy? It can't even handle righteous fire? I swear to god I routinely leech 20k hp in half a second and I've spent like a tenth of his divines, whats going on?"
Kind of funny how the biggest weakness of one of the tankiest builds is the fear of losing the gear, when dying is precisely what the build is supposed to prevent.
I love this game, but my god it's so stupid that pathfinder is just the best ascendency in the entire game once you have gear and it's not even close, at least for hardcore. they need to make this flask stuff viable on other specs because it's ridiculous to be shoehorned into this spec on every single build
Doesn't work sadly due to RF being up all the time. Lethe shade kicks in if you take damage over time recently, but with rf up you are always taking damage over time.

How does Steel activate all the flasks on the same frame at 6:50? Is there something I don't know about used when charges reach full?
Yes it's a flask enchant you can guarantee to roll "use when flask reaches full" with crafting bench. Especially common for pathfinders to use

A good way to check if your build is working correctly is to check the "Hits before death" for Uber-Shaper slams in PoB. It should be around 50.
Anyway we can have be safe from degen? I hated that shit and only pantheon has something about it but it’s very small
