I started assembling four of them and painted them. Didn't realize how long this was going to take. But I am enjoying the journey :) I've painted the parts before assembling where necessary. It made the job easier and more precise as well. I plan on making one of each from the box. 11:12 I shared that excitement when you introduced the breacher boy :)
@@shanesmith7672 I built this today and really struggled to find that jaw myself but I did in the end, it is annoying they are on different sprues but it probably is there unless it wasn't a full kit you bought
There's some fantastic detail in there, but a LOT of detail to paint! I reckon I'll assemble them all as their specialist versions to take advantage of their unique rules.
I think I'll be following your example almost to the letter! 👍 I'll probably leave off some of the bigger weapons to paint separately before attaching to the minis, because some of them look a little tricky to paint as a whole figure.
Appreciate your videos very much. So well done and helpful. I can't wait to build out my models and am looking forward to your painting vids and especially a build video for the guardsmen. I'm a little unsure what to choose for them.
@@tabletopskirmishgames looking forward to it. Though it seems clear, that you need more than the ones in the Box to build all options. Especially If you choose to Go with the 4 extra veterans instead of the Attack options Like Artillery Barrage.
I’ve got the old metal Kommandos including the metal big shoota boy and burna boy. I think I’m going to build the same models as you as I have metal boyz. Thanks for making the useful videos
@@tabletopskirmishgames they were the first set of orks I painted after finishing the orks in the Assault on Black Reach set. This was probably in 2011.
Nice! That’s awesome, having a full 20 operatives for the roster is so cool and you’ll have enough to bring in the extra 4 Troopers for the ancillary support option. Have fun! 👊
Can anyone explain what would be the point of building more than two boys? I just thought there would be some kind of point limitation but as there isn’t why wouldn’t you just build all specialists, rockit boys etc
I think the 12 models included are enough and you can double them all up as Kommando Boyz on your roster or even use one Snipa model to represent two different operatives no problem. Having the extra would be nice to use all the different heads and poses, though. With the Krieg, they have an option where there’s 4 more troopers allowed for ancillary support, it even for those I’ll be proxying with some Cadians.
There were lots of arms and additional weapons left over but as I built all the operatives there were no other special weapons. I’ll put a picture on Instagram so you can see. 👊
Near perfect for use in RT era games, just a bit of work in order to make them "true" Blood Axes. Most notable, being able to add a few Imperial/ Ork insignia.
Hello, fantastic video, but I have a petition if could be possible, can you please upload in some share drive the manual assembly? Because I was looking through a lot of websites and I could not find anything :( Thanks in advance! Best regards
You did a great job on removing mold lines!

My only frustration from this kit was that parts for one model weren’t located on the same sprue.
Lot's of spare bits to use on other models with this. I've got some plastic barrels to make some sneaky Orks with!
Same for me, I'm missing the jaw holding the knife. Pretty annoying

That’s a good way to go and they can still be used as regular Kommandos too. Lots to paint for sure! Have fun with yours and thanks for watching 👊

That’s a good idea, I never think of that when I build them and then regret it later 🤣 Have fun with your set!
Thanks for the info. I traded my Krieg for my friends Kommandos. With this I can build each variant and nine boyz.
Nice one, that’s a great way to do it. Thanks for watching! 👊
Great Info Video, appreciate the short summery for options.
Thanks Marco! 👊
Fantastic video and narration.
Thanks, Jordan!
this was exactly what I was looking for, very helpful thank you. Gotta agree power klaw has to be the choice :)

Enjoyed the video, looking forward to what’s coming next.

@@tabletopskirmishgames appreciate the reply!!
Thanks for the build through. We're their many bits left over? Would it be possible to take a cheap set of ork boys and mak e a few more kommandos?

@@tabletopskirmishgames cool, will have a look. What's your Instagram name please?
Just posted them at @skirmishgames and look for the crow! 🥳
@@tabletopskirmishgames ta very much.
If you can get bodies there's enough extra bits to make an entire second set of kommandos
Do the numbers in the book actually exist on the sprue?
I think there was a couple of errors but I can't remember if they were numbered sorry. Feels like ages ago when I built them.
