Hey man thanks for the videos and obviously only just getting around to painting these guys but it would be awesome if in future you could post the list of paints you use? Just makes it easier to head to the shop and get everything I need before I start! Thanks and great work on the channel it's very entertaining.
Great stuff thanks 🙏 👍 Not used the contrast method yet, but having just bought the KT starter set, im raring to go on thede and the dkok. Quick Q, would it work to put down the metallic opaques first, just in case you slip onto the contrast areas?
I’m torn between using this method and your other black and brown/ryza method for my Ork combat patrol. Can I ask what was your decision making process on choosing this method over the other for these?
I just like giving a bunch of options. My new orks for orktober have a different skin all together. Just pick what ever suits your best and run with it.
Any chance you will give a painting tutorial on the bomb squigg. I just can’t for the life of me figure out how to make him look good. I end up with this garish pastel ball that if you add helium it would float. It’s not scary
It’s just a personal thing. I don’t really Like how agrax looks over anything. Just looks to dark and dirty for me. Sepia is a really nice softer brown. But each to their own. I know I’m the minority in that opinion.
@@MediocreHobbies thats crazy man, you hit 500 in the time it took me to check this! congradulations!! your going to have to celebrate! ( did you ever get around to measuring that ork terrain by any chance?) no rest for the wicked haha
@@What2Have4Dinner thank you so much. He I shall have to do something. And no I was an idiot and forgot I promise to get them to you by the end of the day.
Easily one of my new favorite channels, your tutorials are perfect!
High praise. Mean allot pal.
Thank you. This is a great way to get the “other” team from the Octarius boxed set painted up so you can use them as a loaner team.
Haha there is always one half of the box your not as interested in. Glad this can help you get through them. Cheers for the support.
Keep em coming. Turning into my go to channel. Especially to see contrast actually being used well.
that comment made me smile allot. thank you so much. and yes many more videos coming.
I like your pinting and dry brushing style, gave me some good hints and I've been painting for decades.
That’s amazing to hear. Thank you. Glad you found it useful.
More people need to watch your videos, always so informative and helpful
Cheers dude. By all means share them around lol.
Very nice! Love the militarum green
Thank you pal.
So jealous on how easy you make this. Hopefully, I can pull it off. 1000x thanks!
Thank you so much. I have no doubts you can pull this off. Tag me when you do I’d love to see the results.
Build a Combat Patrol Orks, a squad of Kommandos (with all the specialists) for Orktober this year. Thanks for the tutorial
Oh awesome, enjoy!
Love the video, the smug on the screen was driving me crazy, I must have tried to clean my screen 20 times……. LOL
Never even noticed sorry. Glad you liked the video man.
Thanks for this, been waiting. My KT arrives this week and cannot wait to start the orks.
That’s amazing. I hope the video helped.

That’s far too much praise. Cheers pal.
Absolutely perfect! Thanks, im heading for this in my (a little bit late painted) orks band for killteam battles in 2022! :) Happy new year

And thank you for the very kind words :)
Great stuff thanks 🙏 👍

It won’t matter either way really as when you go back and do the layering stage you can fix any mistakes that occur.

I think I can manage that. I love painting squigs.
Wheeze goin Kommando Boyz!!!!
always
Nice video. What primer did you use? Was it grey seer?
Spray black and then zenith with grey seer. Glad you liked it.
Great painting tutorial ( as usual😁)! What is the reason you prefer sephia over agrax earthshade? where you use sephia i mostly use agrax.
It’s just a personal thing. I don’t really

would you now to the bonedrybrush again or do it in the beginning for mor "slap chop" ?
I don't really do slapchop, this style suits me more!
@@MediocreHobbies yes sir, thank you
What primers You use?
All over chaos black. And then a zenith of grey seer over the top. Does that make sense to you?
@@MediocreHobbies oh yeah, thanks :)
Nearly at 400. come on, one more....
So close lol
And then somebody unsubscribe….. damit. 2 to go n
