@@kimmiecrackcorn I don't allow ads in the middle of my tracks! UA-cam switched it on automatically so I have to go through each track individually and switch them off... really annoying, but trust me, I will switch off mid-roll ads on every track I catch with them
I just created the lyrics to your jam and wanted to know if you can give usage of it for a backing track to my lyrics, we will be recording it next week if you want to hear it first before you say. I dug your opening before it went into repetition. Lefty.....
All due respect to the guy's request below re starting the track without Quist's intro, but I wish he would play further. Quist's playing inspires me to play up and learn more. Love ya Quist and thank you for being out there in UA-cam land!!!
Man, there is something about this track that really inspirers me to play my best! I must not be the only one feeling that way with the 2.5M views. Lol
You cats who post these nice cleanly played blues playalongs on youtube, KUDOS!!!! I am more of a jazz/bebop guitarist at heart, but also love to try to lay out some simple soulful straight blues sometimes but rarely get the chance to do so live with other players. Hours of fun! :-)
Charles Duckett Jr. Yeah .. I played right along with them. Had my headphones on and just my nylon guitar. I It really sounds good. I run jazz runs over this. Gives a nice sound. I totally believe in backing tracks.. they can tighten a band up.

Here's several tips for blues jam tracks: take advantage of done for you tracks templates. Try it out in front of a few people and ask for tips and advice. (I discovered about these and more on Makale jam plan website )
I don't have any where close to your talent so I really like how you give us a little example at the beginning of the jam track to get me going in the right direction! 😎🎸
Bro I've been playing for 9 years and this is my weakest genre of music. That being said when I hit the right notes it's also the most fun. Keep playing man you'll get there
my guitar teacher is introducing me to soloing and improvising with this. awesome track and I’ve used your Dm/G track. really fun to play along and you sound great!
I could play on this for hours. Over and over. Thanks for posting, and all the other vids too. I'll be here alot! Just wrote a 12 bar blues tune in E and was looking for some new rifs for it, this gives me the chance to experiment.
Blues scales to use on a 1 4 5 12 bar. If you do it right and mix it up tight it will sound far out... E7 : Emin Pent. Emaj Pent. E mixolydian, Half-whole tone scale & blend them all together A7 : Emin Pent, Amaj Pent. A mixolydian, A lydian dominant & blend them all together B7 : Emin Pent, Bmaj Pent. B mixolydian, B lydian dominant & blend them all together
J P when you know the modes you can use them as tools to evoke whatever you want and when you want to. The blues legends may not have known the mode names but you can bet your ass they knew what notes to play on what chords in a certain progression.
Bflatest playing both Emaj/minor pentatonic I can get the E Dorian scale, am I technically playing E Dorian? Or just because it’s a mixture of E maj/minor pentatonics.
I'm a pro blues rock bassist and Stevie Ray Vaughans close friend learning to play blues harp and I thank you for the backing track although I feel like I ran 5k when I'm finished. 😆🤣😂

This is a great example of basic Blues progression to expose my students to without adult lyrics. It's good key for Soprano recorders to play along with as well. THANKS. How about a version in G?
@@QuistJam Thanks again. This is great, a good tempo for them as well. This helps e teach Blues. In fact, I teach K-5 and each grade created their own lyrics to finish a song I started. We've got the Blues. They listed tings which made them sad, I tweeked it for it rhymed and we sang 2 versions on the schools AM show:) for Music in our Schools month n March. Gmj is a good key for elem music. We can improvise or follow basic chords on recorder, xylophones/glocks and keyboards. We used to have a drum machine, but they didn't replace it when it broke or was stolen... before I transferred here. I used it a lot at my previous schools. These tracks save me the effort, but it takes time to find the right track online. Thanks again

this is remarkably fun with a ukulele :^]
🤸🏼♂️🙌
Cool riffing , make ya feel good
Great backing groove btw :)

B7 : Emin Pent, Bmaj Pent. B mixolydian, B lydian dominant & blend them all together
Or, you could just play what sounds good and forget the technicalities just as all the great blues men did.
Thanks for sharing... been doing as JP says but you have to get new ideas or it all sounds the same.
