Hands down. Been watching him since the days of Betty's tongue (those who know, know) and he just gets better with age.
I tend to base my opinions on celebrities on how they are on this show.

Olivia Coleman is in loads of newer stuff. One of my favorites is Broadchurch with David Tennant, but she was also great in The Crown

His show is so relaxed and unscripted, which makes it good viewing.
When I was a child many years ago there was a puppet show called Stingray, I was in love with troy tempest the hero and I wanted to be the mute fish girl marina.i used to asked my mom to do my hair like marina. As I got a bit older I moved on to thunderbird no 1 hero Scott. Also a puppet. Thank god I eventually progressed to human boys. Lol

Couple of fun facts, Hobbiton is a place and has a million people visit. Also Graham is much loved by Kiwis, the white wine he drinks on his show is from New Zealand and he recently created a Graham Norton brand of wine with a NZ producer.
And yes, Hobbiton is a real place. I've been there. If you visit New Zealand, you should go, too.

Graham was interviewed recently on an American TV show (can’t remember which one now - Seth Meyers maybe) and he admitted that he doesn’t meet the guests before the show and also, doesn’t meet them afterwards either. He said though that if he passes them in the corridor he will politely say ‘Hello’, but that’s about it as far as conversing with them before and after the show. I was really surprised at that and slightly disappointed as well.
Why disappointed? Clearly it works perfectly for his show at least.
@@faithpearlgenied-a5517 - ok, but if I was one of the guests, I think that I would feel a little put out that I hadn't at least been introduced to him before the show started, but as you say, the whole thing works as it is.
I don’t think I believe him tbh, a lot of people are on multiple times and many of them are his friends. Unless he means just before and just after, as in to be in the zone for the show.
@@laurajaynenolan2149 - yes, I think that’s what he meant, ie. he wouldn’t interact with any of the guests just before and straight after the show. I think he said that he wouldn’t join them in the green room at any time. It sounds like from what he was saying that he just stuck to his own dressing room most of the time.
@@laurajaynenolan2149 I think he means he doesn't preorganise the interviews with his guests (like other show hosts do). It seems pretty clear.

You have to see Harrison Ford with Benedict Cumberbatch, he does a(brilliant) Chewbacca impression and Harrison's reaction just melts your heart. Also kevin Costner surrounded by the younger ones he is so unassuming, true greatness the 2 of them.

Graham Norton is excellent as the British commentator of the Eurovision Song Contest, having taken over from the late Sir Terry Wogan.
Us Brits never take the contest too seriously, and that’s shown in Grahams commentary, where he’ll often make a comical or sarcastic remark based on what’s going on. Sir Terry was the same! Graham done a wonders job, jointly hosting the Eurovision recently, where the UK hosted the contest on behalf of last years winner’s Ukraine, who were obviously not able to host the event themselves.
We've got a similar presentation in Belgium, Peter also does commentary like Graham. Doesn't take it too seriously, all a bit tongue in cheek.

13:08 - FYI, the Chinese words are literally "German Style Salty Pig Hand" - in other words, pork knuckles, which is quite common in Chinese cuisine too.
My ability to read and write in Chinese is very limited, but from what I can gather: "Hand shredded ass meat" is a "hand shredded meat" of some description. I didn't think donkey was on any menu, but Google Translate seems to think that the third character is that of "donkey".
Also, the "Whatever" is some kind of fruit juice - the last two characters under the English in small print is "fruit juice". I can't quite figure out what fruit, though.

I'm surprised Graham Norton hasn't been snapped up by one of the large US networks. There are few hosts who can coax such brilliant stories out of panel of superstar guests like he does. The stars seem to genuinely love him.

The " sausage in the father - in - law" on the menu was from Russian. So I looked up father- in- law in my Russian dictionary and it's right beside the word for pastry. That makes sense that it's sausage in pastry ie a sausage roll.

I, in general, envy no one. But I`ve always been rather fond of watches. Even when I was a child I remember seeing a watch which was so attractive I had to have it, and so asked my mum and dad if I could have it as a Christmas gift. They said that I could, but that would be the only thing I`d get since it was so expensive ( fifty quid, at the time ). But it becomes hard no to be envious when seeing a chap that is wearing a watch that probably cost more than my house.
