Oh you poor soul poor poor soul, who thinks microwave taquitos are actually good... don't worry is not your fault but the first time you taste an actual flauta you will never eat those microwave tacos again.
I can't belive how this regular mexican food sells out in the USA, down here it's just regular lunch for us!!! I am from LA but i have been living down here for 15 years, the food here is good, fresh and cheap here!!
It's incredible how much of meat and chicken has this flautas. Here in Mexico City all the tacos dorados only has air inside jajajajajajaja but the sauce is the real secret here

Flautas are Better when they’re rolled in flour tortillas but they’re still OK and corn god they’re amazing no matter what when you dip them in the guacamole sour cream and delicious salsa homemade oh my god that crunch
So many fail after switching to a brick & mortar restaurant - all that overhead, extra utilities and taxes, usually have to expand their menus to survive and lose the specialization.

reusing a bit of old oil and mixing it with new oil is a method used all over the world: from tempura to fried chicken and in this video, for flautas. It makes the oil less hydrophobic so it gets into better contact with your food and makes it crispier, faster. of course, if it becomes smelly it has to be discarded but the oil in the video looks fine and the chef is right.

Guys the oil is dark because of the dark spices in the flautas not the because the oil has never been changed, ancho chili powder is very dark
Next time we head to a dodger game we will definitely leave super just have these. They look so good. Food cooked with love is the best.
I love Mexican food! I love seeing Latinos sharing their traditions and food with others , can’t wait to support and try 🙌🏽🙌🏽
