I have owned this car for 2 years now. 2010 grand touring , with retractable hard top. I love it . Its amazing. Its quick , but not real fast. So much fun to drive. It corners like a dream, and I have beaten many a Mustang on mountain curves. It is also incredibly reliable , and low maintenance. When first searching for a roadster, I rejected Mercedes SLK, high maintenance, BMW Z4 , rear springs breaking?, Porche Boxster, expensive maintenance (oil filter $90 ). The Miata is perfect. I just did 2 road trips, Northern Arizona, Utah, Colorado. Cruise all day at 80, no problems. Im gonna wear it out, then buy another one.

Specifically regarding the Mx-5 in this video, the guy is putting his foot on the clutch, not the brake. That's a federal regulation also. Not a choice by Mazda, but regardless of whoevers choice it is. It's a good thing to have to depress the clutch to start a car. Onto the jumpstarting subject, you just jump the car regularly. The break being depressed WILL NOT interfere with the jump starting process. If it has for you before, you're doing it wrong.
i find it okay, its about halfway, where it should be. if u mean the gauge in the center between the tachometer and speedometer.. thats the oil pressure gauge.

Theare are so many cars in that garage. Some are interesting and others not really bad but I think the most exciting may be Bmw 5 series, Mitsubishi Lancer's, corvette's and something like that.

i got in one of these and shut the door and i was like um did it shut and it did but i could tell no difference in noise from shutting the door and having it open i could still hear every sound of the road outside. That's not good

The S2000 is a more expensive car. It's more powerful (200 HP VS 170), and higher-performance car. The Miata is more suited for everyday driving. It is fun to drive at normal (legal) speeds, and the ride won't beat you up. Between the two, the Miata is often looked on by those who never drove one as a "girl's car." Keep that in mind if you have a sensitive ego.
I can't drive a manual, never had the opportunity to learn. That being said, there are many people who completely disagree with you, in fact manual transmission vehicles usually perform better than automatics....
