Inspired by the 1988 classic “Red Storm Rising”, command a nuclear submarine in a desperate attempt to prevent “mutually assured destruction” when the Cold War gets hot and WWIII begins.
You will be tasked with intercepting convoys, amphibious landings, insertion missions and battling it out with enemy warships, submarines and aircraft. Thankfully, an arsenal of wire-guided torpedoes, anti-ship and cruise missiles and the occasional SEAL team are on board to keep the Iron Curtain at bay. - Ігри

It might be out by late 2023 possibly but it also might be delayed again,the devs are very much aiming for a 2023 release at the moment though and their forecasts say it might be likely. I've been waiting for it since late 2019 and frankly even though it's taken forever,it's looking like it might be all worth it
@@vito7428 On the Microprose discord the SP devs have been pumping out a lot of development screenshots as of late. Since it's December though I doubt we'll get a 2023 release but maybe early 2024?

I really hope that for Sea Power they include HMS Vanguard, even though she was scrapped in 1960. Would still play that thing endless.

I don't believe the Royal Navy is going to be in the game at release though i might be wrong. Maybe possibly DLC or update content for a later date. It will include units for a lot of other Eastern and Western aligned navies though

The ship is broken because your Turrets are firing through your ship.

Hey Wolfpack! I have an idea for another cold water series. If possible can you do a surface ship campaign instead of a submarine. I mean we seen like the Arleigh Burke, Iowa etc, but is it possible to do a cold water campaign but as a surface ship?

@@sigamer216 tbh, I feel Wolfpack’s best chance is to command either are Frigate or destroyer like a Arleigh Burke class. Well, playing as an Iowa BB would be cool but trying to not get sunk by enemy submarines
@@BellaZuikaku4785I've ran through the campaign multiple times in surface ships. The OHP and Arleigh Burke are the probably the best choices and only plausible options for being able to actually effectively operate. The campaign might be possible with the Iowa if they could somehow add it to the campaign's selection roster but if i remember correctly,the campaign is impossible to finish in ships lacking ASW capabilities or at least some kind of weapon to hit deeper subs

I can sink all ships and subs with the Las Angeles class sub but as soon at the planes and helicopters arrive I'm sunk. I'm not sure in reality if subs can attack planes and helicopters.

Other than Sovremenny, the 2000 Chinese Navy didn't have a good anti aircraft ships, other ships carry like ASROCs, LWT and AShms
Yes, it's bad experience with 053K completely made the navy allergic to rail launchers. So much so that anti air variant of frigates (2 built, 1 quickly retired, the other converted to Anti surface variant) and destroyers (2 versions proposed, the one using HQ-4 had the entire program cancelled, while the one based on Sea Dart was cancelled as well due to poor reputation in the falkland conflict.) 90s proposal of navalizing KS-1A also went no where. But the consequence is that the Chinese navy is left without AAW ship until 052C commissioning in 2004.

Feel like you've been off your game doing these one-off mission sorties. And that war at sea game is just not my favorite but you still do a good job of making repeated tasks interesting. Will say the Mediterranean series has been a bright light lately. I'm looking forward to your more traditional episodic series.
