Hey PJ. Just watched this video because I was thinking about adding a Pedal Commander to my own truck. It peaked my interest when I saw the title and thought I’d check it out. I just purchased a 2014 Ram 1500 4x4 with the 5.7L Hemi and 3.92’s. Can you tell me, are these 9Drives vehicle specific or can I just purchase one and go?
Essentially you just disconnect the 2 present connectors and put this in line (i.e. in series) so that it is part of the cable. I recommend a setting of around 2.5 because holy shite, does is take off like a rocket on my Subi Outback! Good luck.
I put the 9 drive on my 2018 6.2 F250. first off I got check engine and hill assist not available. "I don't have hill brake assist". Then while idling I pressed the peddle and for a few cycles got no noticeable acceleration. then it would accelerate very slowly. I turned the engine off and restarted. same issue. third try no problem and set at 2.6 the throttle was very responsive. I drove the truck the rest of the day with no issues. This morning I got un to go to work and t=it was just like when I first installed it. Turned engine on and off a few time the same as the first and it worked fine getting to work. Will see if this "relearn issue is a daily thing. if it is it is coming out. This would be kind of sad because it really wakes up the truck.
So does it turn on automatically and save the settings from previous when you turn off the car and turn it back on? Or do you have to turn it in manually and set it again? Please answer
it turns on automatically and shuts off automatically, a few minutes after you shut the truck off. yes it does stay on the setting you choose, no need to mess with it at all after you set it, unless you decide to change modes. i daily drive mine on mode 3.9, it makes a huge difference.

I just tried to install the exact same throttle controller I ordered off Wish on my 2016 Dodge Challenger RT, and the jack on it doesn't even fit my throttle plug, which renders it useless. Make sure that the jacks fit on your throttle interface before ordering these things. I ended up wasting my money.
I will tell you why it is not as much as pedal commanger or fukin tuned. Both do not use a phone cord to power their device, it is hardwired in. Fukin tuned has a box that stays under the dash, no control box, it's controlled by an app. Pedal comander can be controlled by the box or an app. When the 9 drive fails it has nothing to do with the connections or the control box, it is the iphone connector that fails. If they were going to do this, they should've went with the reliable type c. I've ran all 3 on my truck. I just prefer the Fukin tuned one because I don't like having them on my dash, downside is that is has an american flag on it and I am canadian lol.

I drive with 2.1 and when I want to launch the car I use 3.9. However it’s not a performance mod but it will trick you a little bit. I definitely recommend it over the PC. It’s worth about 50-70 bucks but it’s a joke to pay almost 400 for the same thing. It’s not that revolutionary. But yea enjoy it it’s a pretty cool little gadget
@@braedentrebell3718 thank you so much! I've made my decision to get it🤟
@@nechab2550how was it?
2 years later😅 but in ur fuse box ;)
I wouldve liked this video but the seat belt dinging drove me crazy
Same
How would this work with a vehicle that already has Eco, normal, and sport modes?
Buy it and make a video
I just installed one in my Trackhawk. Holy shiiiiit!
Wonder if it fits my 5.7 hemi commander
I just tried to install the exact same throttle controller I ordered off Wish on my 2016 Dodge Challenger RT, and the jack on it doesn't even fit my throttle plug, which renders it useless. Make sure that the jacks fit on your throttle interface before ordering these things. I ended up wasting my money.
Did you legit say you bought it off of WISH 😂😂😂
@@PeaJayYt he ordered something of wish and actually got it??? that's impressive by itself
@@Feranzyfps man ain't that the truth lol
How did you get it to stick to your dash? Does the unit come with a adhesive?
Yes. It came with an adhesive backing and I just cleaned the dash with alcohol and stuck it on there
Will this work on a jeep grand Cherokee 2017
We have some amazing controller that specifically taylored for jeep Cherokee,do you want grab one for a test?
Dear god. I had to turn it off because of that damn seatbelt warning
Public service announcement to wear your seat belt
Did you know putting your seatbelt on makes you smarter?
Omg. Wow. Yes.
There is a little paper in the box that says what all the settings are
Just bought mine but it does nothing, not sure if the settings are wrong , it has EC1-EC9 and 800-913 I have no idea what that is, anyone please help, my truck is 2014 1500 5.7
still using this? just curious how it held up over a couple years. I want to buy one for my bronco.
I dont but I sold it to my buddy when I traded my truck in and he's still using it
