I had mild Covid lasted about 3 weeks and during that time I lost all taste and smelling abilities. I’m in a job that requires cognitive ability. Before Covid I looked at the job as a challenge now after my Covid this job has become a struggle. I can’t seem to concentrate sometimes anymore and I deal with a lot of data on this job and now I have a different view of this data in that it just overwhelming to me now.

So sad that we lost over a million people in this country to this devilish virus and hundreds of thousands of others who survived may never be the same again. This little virus has disrupted so many lives in so many negative ways. I hope the human race learns how to better survive these pandemics in the future because we didn't do a good job this time.

I too had really bad brain fog after having COVID! It was still bad after a year and I was so afraid it would last forever. I would say it slowly started going away after 2 years and now it's 3 years later and 80% of the brain fog is gone ! I hope the best for everyone experiencing it! It's been really scary!

My girlfriend recently got tested positive for Covid. She's been having some issues with memory...2 evenings ago we had a in depth conversation on a topic that properly lasted about 30 - 40 min...the next day we where talking and I brought up the topic we had and she couldn't remember anything...like nothing...a day or two before that she completely confused 2 different stories or memories and mixed me up with a guy she used to chill with wayback...she was diagnosed today with Covid , is this an extreme case of brain fog or does it get that bad ?

I saw someone lost memories for 2 weeks on UA-cam. She didn’t even remember her daughter. I lost some memories too. But it’s more like the brain actually formed the memories, but when you have brain fog you can’t get the memories out normally. Even when I feel I remember things but the memories are very different and fuzzy. The worst is the disconnected feeling, basically I couldn’t Feel and lost the ability to do simple things. And then motivation and desires were gone. Then depression and anxiety came in. I am a positive person but the brain is playing me.it’s like in the dark the light couldn’t reach me. Scary. But eventually slowly weirdly We will feel better and better. Everyone with LC has a long story. But your love can help her, just trying to prepare you for what might coming. Good luck with her recovery.

My 36 year old son is going on his 4th month of Covid with severe head pressure, anxiety, depression, neurological and psychological problems. He’s basically debilitated, and lies in bed almost all day, because he had just found out that on top of mold toxicity (that he tested positive for 12 months prior), the doctor discovered that he had three types of Lyme coinfections: Bartonella and Babesia that had lain dormant in his body, possibly since he was age 7 and had meningoencephalitis.) He head pressure is so bad that he screams in pain. He can’t find word, and neither can I, after having it.
He can hardly function and I’m sure he has autoimmune encephalitis, but there are no intake places to take him and every part of his body is in pain along with outbursts of rage, delusions, and paranoia. I can’t take care of him much longer (I’ have chronic pain myself and sleep disorders. Plus I’m only 4’ 10”.), and he needs more testing and help Nathan I can give him. He’s on ivermectin every other day, Nystatin, Biactin and Plaquinil. Nothing is doing a thing so far for his pain. He had labs done yesterday, but his appointment isn’t until next week. Im afraid we will lose his him by his own hand or he will get so bad, it will be irreversible. Where do these people find a hospital that treats this?
If anyone knows PLEASE, let me know! Thanks!

I’ve had daily brain pressure since June 18, 2022. I had Covid the end of May/ first week of June of 2022. It was very mild and didn’t have any symptoms like I did just last month. My eyes got very dry, the white around my eye is now brown and yellow, I can no longer wear my contacts because they irritate my eyes and I’ve gotten two pairs of glasses since and can’t see out of them. My vision is distorted, looks like everything is slanted and tilted and I’m constantly dizzy my eyes hurt and feels like someone is gouging my eyes out. This pressure weighs all over my head but especially in the very middle of my head and pulsates. I’ve gone to two neurologists here in Charlotte and they write it off as headaches, but these aren’t headaches I’m experiencing and they’ve diagnosed it as IIH. I went to a top neurologist two weeks ago at Duke Health and she diagnosed it as cervicalgia. I had an MRI done yesterday and it showed increased brain pressure

I'm Canadian, everyone I know is responsible enough to get the vaccine if they can, and I only know of one family (several people removed, so very indirectly) who have gotten it.
I don't believe I've heard of that effect before but because brain damage is a possibility, I guess anything is possible? Have you considered getting an appointment with a neurologist or a neuropsychiatrist (very very very specialized, the latter are)? Maybe they could shed some light on it for you.
Regardless, have a 🤗 from me, I hope things improve for you.🙂

@Rein Mendoza It is so frustrating because our long-hauler symptoms are similar but different. I gave up going to doctors. I figured out how to survive for myself. The pain has been devastating at its worst moments (literally felt I was dying while being told "nothing is wrong with you") But as bad as the pain has been, losing my mind has been worse. It is like I have multiple personalities now - two of them - me at a very young age like 12 - 17 years and me at my normal mature age. And I never know when I'm going to slip into the childlike personality - except that it seems to be triggered by stressful situations. So frustrating and has left me unable to work at my previous level or even interview - cause I never know when it's going to "hit".

Covid is a cardiovascular disease. The virus attacks the lining of the blood vessels and causes micro-clots to form. The micro-clots can affect any organ in the body since every organ is filled with a network of blood vessels. This is why it can cause brain damage. It's not really surprising for anyone who understands how this virus works. If it makes you feel better to live with your head in the sand then be my guest.

Sometimes I feel a rumbling in my gut and then a sudden blast of air comes from my rear end and then it smells foul in my immediate vicinity for a minute or two. Anyone else get this covid symptom?

Nothing in this is misleading, it's all documented science, otherwise they wouldn't be reporting it.
