After 2 covids, I noticed my brain abilities and overall condition have worsened. Brain fog, constant fatigue (mental and physical), low energy, lack of interest in everything, much shorter attention span.. Sometimes I need to think harder to form coherent response in conversations. Covid has affected us way worse than we could imagine.
Exactly my story. I have had some success with fasting over a couple of days at a time to get my mind clearer. And then, of course, making sure I watch salt on my diet as it triggers inflammation as we know. I have had chronic vertigo as well. I met with my neuro occupational therapist who is absolutely the top in her Field and she said she has seen countless patients come in of all ages, including children with vertigo issues, and brain fog and everything you can imagine after Covid. She had one patient that went to have a scan done with a neurologist and the doctor didn't mince words and said you have encephalitis that was induced by Covid. So it is a real thing. This gentleman has had some success with an SSRI to help bring down the inflammation. So this video we just watched is spot on.

I have had severe long covid (actually post vac, but what the heck), lying in bed/on the sofa 24 hours a day, feeling as if I were over 100 years old etc (luckily emotionally stable). What is ironic is that I edit a scientific journal. I therfore knew exactly what NOT to expect from the health system and that I had to find my own way out of this mess. So I experimented a lot. Apart from the things mentioned in this video (!), my most sucessful measures have been: playing the clarinet (a C instead of a Bb clarinet is less heavy; normalizes breathing), cold showers (strengthens vagus nerve; increases blood circulation etc.) and qi gong (similar effects). I am back at work now and still spend about 2 hours per day doing these three things. It is all hard work, but it has zero side effects and it is worth it.
After mild covid , started experiencing below symptoms about 3 months after which incresed day by day 1 - head pressure on simple movements like walking feeling as if I may fall 2 - Extreme Insomnia - could not sleep or barely managed to sleep for few hours in the night , insomnia continued for 6 months 3 - uncontrollable anxiety , hunger to such extent that if i did not eat I , I felt as if I may become hypoglycaemic 4 - depression associated with insomnia which made my day time feel like hell, always sleepy during daytime , even i felt extremely tired still I could not sleep 5 - extreme sensitiveness of skin , simple tasks like bathing gave shivers and palpitations 6 - swallowing food issues , made my hunger symptom more scary 7 - Continuous anxiety as stated in above comments , small teiggers were enough to trigger anxiety symptoms I am on medication since past 9 months , and started to feel better with symptoms reducing day by day

My brain has never been the same since I had the 2020 Covid. 2.5 years later I got hit with another one. Brain fog, unable to think, poor concentration. I did a cognitive test and I got really scared at my score...and I am young.
Had Covid back in 2020... a few months ago i started feeling like i had covid again.. breathing issues.. sharp pains throughout my body.. pressure in my head.. constantly dizzy.. sharp pains in a lot of place... it's driving me crazy..

I was born with Autism knowledge was so easy for me to obtain since I recovered from covid it's like a door has been shut and locked parts of my brain feel like I can no longer access the knowledge I have and every day I feel like I am slipping away this feeling is truly terrifying I no longer sleep when I go to bed I just lay there all night with my mind racing but unable to understand what my mind is thinking after watching your video I have gained some insight in the road I face going forward. But I fear that the knowledge that I learned is lost to me forever if anyone out there is experiencing this and has overcome it have you retained the knowledge that you thought you had lost

I have had some virosis one month ago and after I was seemigly OK i started to have trouble with my brain and vision. I feel like I am drugged. I can barely function at home and I cant go to work. I've had brain dysfunction since COVID that's worsened, but didn't realize it was due to COVID until now. The intensity of the dysfunction comes and goes. The last three days were not good. NONE of my doctors or nurses have ever heard of quercetin. How are they supposed to help me? My psychiatrist told me to do crossword puzzles, etc. The same exact advice he gave me for my post concussion syndrome. I believe I have ADD as well. My therapist agrees. My psychiatrist doesn't acknowledge that it's even a possibility. None of my friends are into healthy eating, so I've basically been trying to get through this with the Lord. Also learning about foods, supplements, etc. But nothing I've read or watched has mentioned a link to COVID until now and one other podcast that came up with this one. I only had mild COVID. My friend got it at the same time. She was incapacitated for 2-3 months. She's been perfectly fine since then. At least I finally have some answers and a place to begin a different avenue of research. TYVM!!
You need to treat inflammation. I had terrible fatigue, brain fog, memory cognitive issues after covid. I'm Still recuperating. New doctor treated me with I meg solumedrol IV steroid. Within hours of treatment the pressure I felt on top of my head lifted. Several days later I could think clearer my short term memory lapses improving. My fatigue also is much better. I nap once or twice a week once a day. Not every day twice or three times. Why do doctors ignore treating brain inflammation. It is documented on MRI scans. They know it's there but don't treat it. I thank God I finally found a doctor who treated it. Look for doctors who will give corticosteroids to treat long term covid inflammation. This is what causes long covid!
I had my world turned upside down because of the symptoms of post covid . Brain fog , memory loss, total mental breakdown. I started using escitalopram, amytryptillin and olanzapine and it has brought my life back on track in 4 months not fully but partially. I need to add one medicine for inflammation as well. After SARS COV2 infection I see in perifereal blood tendency of erytrocyte to aggregate like coin rolls, even before coagulation. That can explain an increase of blood viscousity that can also damage capillary blood flow. May be ,,low tissue temperature,,also occur after SARS COV2 infection? I have it all what you are mentioning! Its going to be two years since the last time I was sick. What bothers me the most is feeling like Im not the same health wise prior to before getting sick. I have always suffered from depression and Anxiety. After getting sick the Anxiety came in full force! I had gained control over my anxiety ten years or so ago. Today its out of control. Its more than the brain being affected. Honestly no one knows they are all guessing. Those that may know are those who caused this disease. Is the book free? Please Im very capable Ive fulfilling myself. I'll give you a real solution that has helped me to get through time in my life and has improved my symptoms and now that I think about it? Im going to be more vigilant in my asking. I pray and ask God to heal me ,help me, to watch over me and make me better and well again. I'm having the same issue. I'm supposed to be writing a dissertation and haven't progressed at all since I got sick. Exercise helped me a lot, even really gentle exercise as soon as you're able or stretching and deep breathing. Another thing that helped is anti-inflammatory foods and teas, especially foods with capsacin (sp.?) like peppers and tulsi tea.

A lil over 1 year ago, I had bad covid. I couldnt eat normal fir months, I dropped 40 plus pounds ( great) . I ended up in hospital for accute respitory illness fir a month, no ventlator. After I was released ,my lungs were still damaged. But I never had a lot of coughing ,almost no phlegm to spit in the lil tube so how did it damage my lungs?? Ok well a year later now. Gained all the weight back ( dang). But this whole past year of being over covid, i feel like a lil bit of an idiot. I started a job as a school bus driver i had a aid on the bus thank God. I was in a new state VA now but was a life long PA resident until shortly before I hot covid. I couldnt ,for the life of me, could not remember 5 stops and how to get to them arghh i say its because there is no map of Madison County,VA but i blame covid and whatever little quirks it did to my brain. Guess Im lucky. But is what ive noticed now about my vrain from covid? I was a bus driver 20 years in PA and then 8-9 years a truck driver.
The COVID 19 Pandemic caused excessive anxiety and hopelessness, while it did good to us in many ways. People have realised more realistically they will have to die sooner or later so that how to treasure life is important. Also, they realised minding a small stuff means nothing in life. Expanding the worldview is relaxing.

get blood test to make sure everything is good, fix any that aren't. People were sun deprived for month you body takes time to build back the NATURAL vitamin D. then winter we got no sun, people inside all day is bad. the sun gives you everything, it brings your libido up it brings your mood up. we live thru the sun. needed for your bones. funny in the winter I feel like an old man my joints hurt and im 30. when its summer almost no pain. get that sun if you could stand outside for 30 mins in the morning or past the peak of high uv naked let the sun hit you. take probiotics I like PB8. eat better, sleep better. get off the news or media it shows a negative of the world. it makes me sad that there is war and people lost everything after the pandemic, it makes me sad that the government's sit and let the drugs stay in the streets, im talking a bout the ones that rot you and you overdose on it Easy and die. they just sit and collect money on the loss of human beings. but separate yourself from the world. Mentally, after covid I have fear of what if I get it again, what it we get a deadlier version 5 years from now. but I say im here to experience it. I just have to fill my life with positives. work on a goal. Continuous improvement, always fix one thing on your car a month see how it runs and feels after a year. its baby steps. plus we aren't meant to be working and paying all that we pay. we have to find ways to become unique. imagine a world where everyone was positive and we all became better and better. do that for your world.
Got covid lost smell tast among other aches and pains. Recovered but a yr later My spelling taste went haywire and I started smelling sulfur and tasting sulfur in everything and everywhere. I couldn't muster anything except for Subway chopped salads. And that was for almost two years. I lost 20 lb. It was so horrible I already weighed 124 I went down to 104. I had kids to feed my husband that I still had to feed I got sick constantly. While writing this now it's been over a year since I recovered for the most part from my smell and taste from sulfur. Some things still taste off from what my mind remembers anyway. And now I have it again but this time I've had a very very bad headache for a day and a half lots of aches and pains again but with 3 days in at the moment I don't feel awful awful. Just very fatigued at the moment but no loss of smell and taste at the moment with 3 days in. I am asthmatic and at the time it was so bad on my lungs but praise God I didn't have to go to the emergency room.

Can you answer the question
What type of brain scan shows inflammation in the brain?
After mild covid , started experiencing below symptoms about 3 months after which incresed day by day
1 - head pressure on simple movements like walking feeling as if I may fall
2 - Extreme Insomnia - could not sleep or barely managed to sleep for few hours in the night , insomnia continued for 6 months
3 - uncontrollable anxiety , hunger to such extent that if i did not eat I , I felt as if I may become hypoglycaemic
4 - depression associated with insomnia which made my day time feel like hell, always sleepy during daytime , even i felt extremely tired still I could not sleep
5 - extreme sensitiveness of skin , simple tasks like bathing gave shivers and palpitations
6 - swallowing food issues , made my hunger symptom more scary
7 - Continuous anxiety as stated in above comments , small teiggers were enough to trigger anxiety symptoms
I am on medication since past 9 months , and started to feel better with symptoms reducing day by day
What kind of medications did you take?
I had the same, what is your age? I had also tinitius. Lost smell for 1.5 years. All of these symptoms started to go only after 1.5 years. It takes time

Hi
I have ADHD and one drug they tried me on when they thought I had some mild depression was Luvox. It caused extreme fatigue and sexual dysfunction. Horrible. Never again.
I think SSRIs are more harmful than helpful. I've also had significant side effects when I've tried them - and unfortunately those side effects impact those very areas that I'm wanting to restore - sexual and emotional blunting primarily...
Please keep us updated with any new findings so we can have our brains back
It's a struggle just to get a brain mri. I am almost three years in and suffer from chronic muscle fasciculations syndrome, myoclonus, and now chronic insomnia. Plus other mental health problems. I'm at a loss because there's nothing they can do. In top of that, I now have fibromyolgia due to no deep sleep, which was shown in my sleep study
Most people have clean brain MRI, like me for example, despite being a 2 years longhauler.

I had very mild Covid mid-November, and have none of those issues, I'm one of the lucky ones. I'm the same as I was pre-Covid.
Then this video wasn't about you...nope...not about you at all. No need for you to even comment.

That can explain an increase of blood viscousity that can also damage capillary blood flow.

get blood test to make sure everything is good, fix any that aren't.
