Can you do an update to the rewards program at the Palms casino? They had a fantastic VIP lounge that had top shelf liquor and pupus. It reminded me of the Laurel Lounges of yesteryear.

A lot of good points and I agree somewhat I got to Seven Stars but trying to get to Noir is hard however to me the quality & cleanliness inc service is way better at MGM
Interesting, thanks for sharing. We always enjoy our stays at MGM Properties and will stay again. We just didn't get much of anything special being Platinum with them for 2 years in a row. I called them and asked why I never got free room offers or show tickets they told me that I should gamble more! LOL.

Interesting, we are Diamond Plus with Caesars and can stay 4 nights consecutive for free and then after 2 days stay another 4 nights. We've done 18 consecutive nights on the strip with 12 of them at Caesars properties, lol! And we survived! lol!
MGM national harbor is my home casino and it is the absolute worst for comps until you hit noir. I have my black card last year and I started getting free rooms and dining credits and things like that. It's a standalone casino with minimal competition because it's so much nicer than the horseshoe in Baltimore and Maryland live so they don't have to compete with anyone and give things away to bring in customers.
Totally agree with all 5 of your points! The free nights no resort fee and earn points on all purchases is a winner. How good is South point casino rewards? I was thinking of trying there next year. They have good eats there. Have a good weekend guys!
Thats a great question Arnold! I really don't know, we really don't go there to gamble much. Pretty much only when Hawaii friends are in town and want to go. They have about 10 Pai Now tables at $10 and $1 bonus, even for progressive! We do eat at Zenshin Asian restaurant a lot though! Sorry could be more help!
Don't understand. We had free room offer at Paris but we had to pay a resort fee and taxes. At MGM we've stayed at Bellagio, Aria and Park MGM with ZERO resort fees and taxes.
You live in Vegas so your offers can/will be different then those who are not local. When it comes to offers it's hard to compare because it's so individualized, not just between different players but different networks and even properties within a network. The properties that are likely going to offer the most are those where there's a lot of competition.(e.g. Vegas, AC etc.). The only thing you can really compare fairly are tier benefits as these are clearly defined for all players. Offers are individualized for each player based on a whole host of things. Some properties may be more generous with rooms while others may be more generous with food comps or resort credits etc. So it's really a matter of finding that network/property that matches your needs/wants. At this point there is really nothing else that significantly differentiates one from the other. You just need to find your "sweet spot"
Yup, we have probably only paid for a room two night in all of 2023.We probably stay 5 to 10 nights per month on average. Just this month (Jan 2024) we will have stayed 8 nights when its done. Thats based on how many we have stayed and what we currently have booked. We also still have another offer for 2 nights this month that we haven't booked yet.
What are these 2x/month dining credits of which thou speakest? And not even needing to gamble to get them! I've been Diamond for 2 years and Plus since the 10x days (thanks Caesars) and have never rcvd anything other than the annual dinner.🙁 I've never even read of anyone mentioning getting this either. How do the rest of us get in on it? I slightly prefer MGM properties so it's a bummer they don't do tier matches anymore (only "challenges.") MGM Gold gets resort fees waived but takes 75,000 tier credits. Caesars Diamond does the same thing and only takes 15,000TC. A big difference! I also love that Caesars spells out that $5 slot play = 1TC. Whereas, MGM is like - "It's a secret. You'll take what we give you and like it.") I just wish that Caesars had an app comparable to MyVegas to win freebies. Oh, and brought back the lounges.
Yes..I agree with you. Thank you for expressing what i thought I was missing. Caesars is up front with how you get your tier and reward credits. I couldn't find anything written on how MGM does abd when u asked at their Players Club they were very vague. Doesn't seem honest
CET has better casinos, MGM has better resorts. I enjoy the CET rewards way more due to the easy to understand system, tier multiplers(even though too many non gamblers have diamond), much better room comps. I will concede that MGM gives way more resort credits and has a better app.
That is so frustrating, but you're not alone! I just head over to the Rewards desks and ask them what the deal is. They've always been helpful in letting me know the days that the offer is good for.

Most of the rewards credits you are talking about would apply for locals, right? What about tourists, like us. We go every year to Las Vegas.,do you know of special reward credits for tourists. A video about Caesars Rewards available for tourists would be great. We do use the My Vegas rewards, but find there are less options now than before. There are a lot of us that would find this informative.
Glad this was helpful. We were Platinum with MGM and Diamond for two years and in those two years never received close to the same offers from MGM. We just get so much more from Caesars that it makes sense for us.
I picked Caesers over MGM years ago and never looked back. I don't pay for parking because I don't like to feel like I'm being ripped off and Caeser's gives me free parking. MGM stopped matching Diamond to their Gold, so I have no reason to go to MGM properties. Caeser's properties also have better deals on rooms mid week.

Most of these come down to the fact that you're not gambling at mgm properties. While you can get to Platinum through card spend, it does not actually get you comps, those are determined by play.
I never got anything from Caesar’s. I’m always comped Sunday to Thursday using mgm rewards. Stayed at Luxor, mgm grand, Mandalay, park mgm, vdara, and nyny. All comped. And I usually play $500-1000

Caesars is best by far. Im pearl with MGM and have no free comp rooms all year yet Im only Gold with Caesars endless comp rooms, Free trips to Atlantic city and others. I have turn my online casino play from MGM to Caesers. MGM has showed little to no respect for my loyalty to them so Im moving on. I play were I get treated as a customer not a number.
The check in process alone keeps me away from Caesars. We get comped rooms all the time for MGM. I guess the experience can vary, but the last few times we stayed at PH In upgraded rooms, they were not clean at all.

I used to have this issue. However, it seems as if Caesar's has improved the efficiency of their kiosk check in. As long as you have your driver's license and use the same credit card you used to book the room, you shouldn't have an issue. At least for me...
Caesars has a little more perks but their games take more of your money with worse odds. Pretty much a wash and depends on if there’s a Caesar’s or MGM in your home town. I remember 20+ years ago when I was staying at Mandelay bay and lost $10K in baccarat in 2 hours then asked for some reduction of bills on my room and they declined. So I’m biased against MGM, since I’m salty.
We are with true rewards the strat and rocky gap casino Maryland. We are 4th level called legit because it’s $1-1 point. And I feel like true rewards surpasses mgm and Caesar’s respectfully.

I like everything about Park MGM except for the rooms (which are terrible). I normally stay at Aria or Vdara and then go to Park MGM to gamble and eat.

I live in WA state and have Diamond Plus status. All the benefits you mentioned apply to me even tho I live out of state. I gave up my similar status at MGM years ago bc Caesars has a much better rewards system and i love their central locations. I also have the 2nd highest tier status at Wynn and Cosmopolitan as well. Travel to Vegas 3 to 4 times a year and all my rooms are free with no resort fees and lots of free play offers at all 3. Caesars also allow a status match to Wyndham and often you can match your Caesar Diamond status to other reward programs. Love Cosmopolitan's Identity Rewards but like others, am dreading the Cosmo/MGM rewards merger.

Ceasars casinos are better situated on the Strip, and even the cheapest rooms are nicely located, a huge plus.

I think it depends on your status, you need to be diamond or above to get the resort fees waved 😊

I’m MGM Gold almost Platinum and I dont pay for parking at the Borgata. In AC, Borgata is still top dog in my humble opinion.
MGM gives me atc4pm late checkout, upgraded room and plenty of resort credit. I'm platinum.
I didn’t hear anything mentioned in the video about FreePlay. As a gold I get $900 in FreePlay if I come in the middle of the week.

I've seen a player at MGM at National Harbor ask for the same thing. The pit boss said the casino was separate from the hotel.

The reality is that both companies have basically the same rewards program now. The difference is MGM has much better properties.
Mark it down,sometime next year you will need diamond elite to avoid resort fees
But MGM resorts has Park MGM and that’s the only place we stay.
We love Park MGM and have stayed there many times. Staying in October and really looking forward to it. I just wish the rewards program was better.
I like everything about Park MGM except for the rooms (which are terrible). I normally stay at Aria or Vdara and then go to Park MGM to gamble and eat.
