@@knitecochicI did end up using it, and it looks so much nicer than the usual bind off and sew. It was a kid's sweater, so being able to avoid the extra bulk was especially nice. Thanks again, I'll sure use this technique in other projects, too.
This was so frustrating to watch. Three modifications that might make this video helpful to viewers: 1- show the process at an angle where the action is visible to viewers. It is helpful to see the work rather than hearing someone muttering while jostling the fabric away from the camera. 2- edit out the sniffles. 3- using an artificial light source to make make the grey yarn more visible against the overcast grey winter sky- or choosing a background that contrasts the yarn color.
